It's been very good from the very start with settling. Very good with communication.

I couldn't be happier with the nursery and the care they provide. I'm fully satisfied in every aspect, from the staff's kindness and professionalism to the overall environment and the activities they provide. It's wonderful to see my son's progress and development every day and week, and it's clear how much he is learning, growing and gaining confidence. The staff make me feel reassured that he is in safe, caring hands, and I really appreciate the effort and dedication they put into supporting his development. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive and high-quality environment for their child.

We can't praise the staff enough, they have all been fantastic with our little boy settling in to nursery. They are all so friendly and helpful and it's so lovely to see our little boy smile as soon as he sees them in the morning. He loves his days at nursery and it's so nice for us knowing he's enjoying it and is in safe hands. We love all the updates they send. Thank you so much you all do a great job!

Busy Bees Birlingham is an absolutely fantastic nursery, the staff are all so kind and lovely and really care about our son! We are beyond excited for our new arrival to attend as well! Our boy has developed so much since starting at Busy Bees with speech and communication as well as emotionally! We are kept so well in the loop with what and how he is doing we feel so confident knowing he is in this setting! A huge thank you to the whole team is well deserved!

Poor Communication: Management and staff do not communicate properly or transparently about incidents or a child's well-being.

All the staff at Busy Bees have been absolutely amazing with helping our daughter settle into Nursery and supporting her development, having joined a year a go. At first our daughter would cry on drop off and be emotional on and off throughout the day. We were told by other parents this could go on for months but after only two months of attending only twice a week, drop off was so much better and our daughter went in happily when greeted by a familiar face. Our daughter still won't eat the nursery food but the staff have been amazing and so supportive in encouraging our daughter and trying to find ways to help her. We've gone from complete refusal to now trying foods here and there. The staff have never given up or suggested that they're wasting their time. Our daughter will soon be going up to the preschool room which again the staff have really ensured they are making the transition smooth with a few settle sessions before the big move.

The nursery staff are wonderful, and try their best to care for your child as best as possible considering everything they need to deal with. The overall management of the nursery is poor, head office don't support staff enough and don't consider the impact their decisions have on parents. The nursery management team all left, and it was clear the support from head office wasn't sufficient for the staff who remain. Decisions such as closing the nursery last minute due to the heat wave, changing opening times and repeated instances of not being able to accept your child because there aren't enough staff are just some of the reasons I removed my son from the nursery. Staff are over burdened with the addition of more children but poor consideration of the impact on them. By the time my son left, agency staff out numbered perm staff and there was poor consistency of care. The staff really are wonderful but the manner which head office manages the nursery showed inconsideration for parents.

Both my toddlers are at Busy Bees. It has been such a joy to watch them thrive and develop over the past year. The staff are so good with the children especially if the child is upset going into nursery they provide comfort and are good at distraction techniques. Staff also try to help accommodate things like nap timings etc which is such a help for some parents. I really believe they try to give each child individualized care and I would recommend Busy Bees to anyone looking at nurseries for their little one.

My child has attended this setting since May of 2024 and has always come home happy, telling me about all the things he has been doing with his friends, staff are attentive to my child's needs and always make me as a parent feel welcome.

I have confidence in the team knowing my children are in good hands.

The only issue i've had is not remembering names due to lack of name badges, which i think would be good for parents

My son has been attending this nursery for over a year. The staff are amazing they are caring, attentive, creative, fun and wonderful people. My son always runs into the room and feels happy and comfortable. I've previously had other children in this nursery ten years ago and their experience was also positive. I say with confidence this nursery comes second to none!

Their child centred approach is apparent in everything they do. Their focus on emotional wellbeing of each child and trusting relationships they build with children as well as parents are so important.

Could do with air con in the summer for the children and the staff wellbeing

Very happy with this nursery! The staff genuinely care about the children. My daughter has developed in all areas and has grown to be so confident and capable. They provide a safe pair of hands and reassurance. Great facilities, delicious food and ample opportunities which are outside the norm such as dancing and drumming lessons! I'd highly recommend.

Both of my daughters have attended Busy Bees on a full time basis over the last 6 years and we recommend it as a nursery to everyone who asks us. The girls have been incredibly happy there and the staff are consistently wonderful. The activities and learning opportunities have been exceptional, including enhanced optional activities like swimming, french, football classes, day trips etc. At mealtimes the food provided is varied and nutritional. The staff always go out of the way for the best interests of the children and the parents, and I have always felt very comfortable with my children being there. My eldest daughter left Busy Bees as a confident and capable child fully ready for primary school, and I fully expect the same for my youngest. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Both my children have been very happy and thrived at Busy Bees. I love their Bee Curious curriculum, especially Artist of the Month. There is always art work or similar to bring home! A few people have mentioned snacks and meals being quite small, but they are well balanced and nutritious.
