This is our third child to go to Busy Bees Burton. Even though we now live further away, we still feel the journey is worth it. All our children have thrived at this nursery, many of the staff have been there for over a decade, which speaks volumes about the environment they create. The staff at the
nursery truly care about providing the best possible environment for a child's growth and development. The communication is always excellent and we would not hesitate in recommending Busy Bees Burton to anyone looking for a great nursery for their little one, they are easily the best in this area.

Our child is autistic and has attended since he was 10 months old (nearly 3 years). We have found the SENCO to be incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, who has guided us through new and difficult systems. The nursery has hosted training which we have been included in (it's been invaluable). The preschool
team in particular have also been understanding and accommodating. Really love this nursery and the team.

My little boy has been here since 6 months old and I cannot fault the care he receives. He is now 2 and a half years old and loves going to nursery to see his teachers. They are always so aware of his interests and his development and have really supported us in his potty training. I would recommend
this nursery to anyone wanting outstanding childcare.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees Burton nursery for around 2 years now. They have been amazing with her, really making me feel at ease. They provide constant updates throughout the day regarding her meals and nappy changes, as well as any photos. My daughter has created such special bonds with the
staff members, I couldn't recommend them enough! Her development and confidence has come on huge amounts since attending Busy Bees.

My 20-month-old daughter loves attending Busy Bees Burton! The staff in the first steps room are nothing short of amazing with her. They are nurturing, caring and always show genuine interest in my daughter's development and interests. I believe with this level of care shown by the staff in first steps,
my daughter has thrived and her development and confidence has come on leaps and bounds.
The management team have also been great! As a first-time mum, it was always going to be an anxious time sending my little one to nursery but the care and reassurance I received from them was amazing! Any questions I have, they are always on hand and willing to answer them, and do so with confidence, their passion for the nursery really shines through!

Kind and caring staff towards our son. They all take an interest in how he is getting on and developing. Our son enjoys coming in and playing with his friends. Good activities to keep them occupied with plenty of drawings and paintings coming home on the evenings. Only negative is the car park. The
car park needs lines painting for the bays along with trimming the bushes back so cars aren't parked against the bush.

We have had no issues at all with nursery. My daughter enjoys her time here and talks about her teachers all of the time at home. We will be sending our son within the year as well when old enough and look forward to seeing him progress.

A lovely setting, with lots of new and exciting opportunities to explore. The staff have always been very helpful during my daughters time with them. My daughters room lead/key worker is amazing and I could not fault the care she offers my daughter. Alongside other staff within the room, they have always
been amazing and want the best for the children. As my daughter suffers with medical needs/conditions, the staff have always been on board and willing to work alongside me to make things better, with lots of reassurance. She enjoys her time within the nursery and is always happy to come the next day!

Absolutely appalling neglect of my 18mo whilst she attended this nursery. Turned up to pick her up and she came running over to me absolutely stinking of her own poo and wee. She was soaked through. She'd been left in the same nappy the entire time she was in Busy Bees Burton's care and left to sit
in her own waste.
After the complaints investigation was concluded I was told there was a 'mix up on handover'. Where are your physical logs for nappy changes? If you weren't sure she had been changed why not change her just in case to avoid the blatant neglect of my child that then ensued? If I'd turned up at the nursery with my little girl in that state you'd have rang social services due to the level of neglect and rightly so!
I've spent months deciding whether to publish this review but on reflection, if I were a prospective parent looking to send my child somewhere for childcare, I'd want to know this sort of thing had gone on behind closed doors.

Overall, a wonderful nursery with the loveliest staff. We attended the Christmas fair this weekend and had a great time playing and buying from the stalls. I know my daughter is in good hands and has the best time every time she's here.

Every member of staff that we have communicated with at Busy Bees Burton has been professional, friendly and welcoming. We are always greeted warmly on arrival and my child is always happy attending daycare here. Although my child has moved up the rooms, all the staff remember my child's name and make
an effort to talk to us, remembering their journey through the younger years. The range of available activities is great and my child regularly takes part in football. Any queries are also quickly answered/addressed. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for nearly two years full time.
The staff are absolutely amazing. She has learned so much while being there and absolutely loves it. They are very professional and you can clearly see they do their work the best they can. The facilities are always in excellent
condition and very clean. They have good rules and policies to make sure the little ones are safe and happy. They are constantly making activities to encourage learning at different stages. She always comes home with something nice that she done in the day.
The quality of the food is amazing and there is a menu set for everyday so you know exactly what your they are eating. They use the app where everything is registered. From nappies to how well they eat; in addition, they also put a lot of pictures of your child where you can see she is enjoying herself while you are at work.
Overall I honestly believe this is the best nursery in the area. Thank you for the amazing work!

The best place to send your child. Staff are all fantastic. The place is immaculate and our little girl learns so much. We could not be happier with our experience here. Our child has just turned 4 and has attended since 9 months old and not once have we had a bad word to say. Well done Busy Bees Burton.

We attended the summer fayre on 30th July 2022. There were plenty of stalls and a sausage shack with tasty food. My son loved seeing paw patrol make an appearance too. The staff members always make a lot of effort and are great with the kids.

My name is Cathy and I am the Manager here at Busy Bees in Burton.


I have worked for Busy Bees since 2005, in this time I have progressed from a Nursery Nurse to a Nursery Manager. I have a Level 3 In Early Years Education and a Level 3 in Leadership and Management. I also hold certificates in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, First Aid at Work, Food Hygiene and a Level 1 In the British Safety Council The need and best interests of every single individual child are central to everything I do here at the nursery, and this is something that is well promoted to the team also. We work hard as a team to ensure that your child receives the best possible care whilst they enjoy their day at nursery. I really look forward to meeting you and starting your journey here with us at Burton.
