My little boy has been at busy bee Southport for a year now and I can honestly say I couldn't be happier with the nursery and all the staff! He is loved and cared for, they know him so well and how to settle and reassure him. They are great at supporting families through tricky situations and I couldn't recommend them enough! So grateful to all of the staff!

As an Early Years Educator myself, I always felt finding a nursery that ticked all the boxes was going to be unlikely. But, the care, love and patience our daughter has recieved since beginning Busy Bees Southport at just 9 months old has been more than I could ever have wished for. The staff really do make the nursery what it is and I always leave feeling she is in safe and caring hands. She absolutely loves going to 'school' and is always happy to go. She is an independent, confident and happy little girl who suprises me daily with the things she does and I believe nursery have nurtured these qualities no end.

The app is regularly updated and it is really useful knowing how she has eaten, slept and her personal hygiene routines. I love when learning observations are shared; seeing her interactions with peers and activities she has participated in.

A huge thank you to all of the staff who have contributed to Miss P's fabulous start. Keep being wonderful.

We joined sept 2025 and it was amazing, warm, clean friendly and nurturing. Due to some issues, head office got rid of all the main staff resulting in a horrendous lot of ppl being brought in, incompetent at meeting the needs of the kids, awful communication with kids and their parents. This is for the pre-school room. and despite raising issues with them, they would ignore or try and fob us off. Not clean, poor facilities and just terrible. We had no choice but to take our child out who starts reception this year. Would avoid this place!

From the day my daughter started here at 6 months to leaving ready for school the quality of care has been outstanding. At every step of her journey the staff have shown kindness and love and encouraged her to blossom. Chloe made the return to work easy knowing that she creates a bond with every child in her care. The manager is always friendly and approachable and puts effort it to knowing each family that walks through the door. The pre school team have done an excellent job preparing her for school emotionally and academically. I would highly recommend this setting. Not only can you feel the warmth and love for what the team do here, but also the strict security and fantastic communication creates a place of safety and love.

The staff who remain are working extremely hard, and we genuinely feel for them, look for alternative nursery if you read this.

I'm so grateful to all the staff at Busy Bees Spital for providing such a fun, safe and engaging environment for my daughters over the years. All the staff are welcoming and do such a great job of looking after the children; the facilities are great and frequently upgraded; and the app is brilliant to provide updates, photos and help also with the administrative side (like payments, requesting extra childcare days, etc). I've had a great experience with my eldest and am using the nursery again now for my second born.

Our daughter is leaving this week but she has loved her time at Busy Bees. She's has made lots of friends and loved all the staff she has been in contact with and is sad to be leaving! We feel she has come on so much during her time at Busy Bees and we are so thankful she's had the motivational support to do so! We feel she will leave Busy Bees fully equipped to tackle school head on! Laura and all the staff have always been fully supportive of any needs that our daughter or us as a family/extended family have required and we will forever be greatful of this as it helped reassure our daughter after her cousin had an accident and the staff comforted her, gave her support and helped her to make her cousin a get well soon card. We are so happy that she got to spend her time with you and that you have helped her develop not only educationally but also emotionally and she can develop strong bonds with her piers! Again we thank you forever!

Some staff turnover has occurred, but the new starters are lovely and we're comfortable it's all in hand. Would strongly recommend the nursery.

The team morale has also noticeably improved. Both the long-standing staff and the newer team members are friendly, approachable and genuinely seem to enjoy working together. It is lovely to see a positive atmosphere returning.

The managers are on form and always offer to help. There is air con right through the place now which is a massive benefit for the kids and staff. You know the kids are safe when staff answer the door to you, if they don't know you they'll apologise for you waiting and tell you they'll bring staff who recognise you before you can get in to pick the kids up, that's if you can get them out because they never want to go home. Thanks to you all for keeping kids happy safe and for your hard work and services for families like us in Liverpool.

And will be planning to enrol my next child here too next year

Would agree totally with the last few comments the place has taken a nose dive from what used to be a lovely friendly place to take your child is now the total opposite absolute carnage every week. Staffing levels very poor which explains a lot as you cannot blame the staff for not wanting to work there anymore after experiencing what it used to be like compared with now. Would never recommend this place to anybody. Last year would have recommended it and couldn't praise it enough but the demise has been drastic and rapid. Also if you have an issue you will be told that management will get back to you however they will not get back to you and this is the same as you move up the ladder to nursery manager and area manager your emails and calls will be ignored. This is not just an isolated incident it's the same issue with a number of parents. Some of the staff are great however the workload put on them is unfair due to kids not wanting to go to unknown strangers aka agency workers.

We couldn't be happier with the care and support our daughter has received. From day one, all of the staff have been so kind, welcoming and genuinely caring, making her feel safe and happy every day.

It's been lovely to see how much she has grown in confidence and learned new skills.

Communication with us has always been excellent, and we know she's in safe hands whenever she's there. We are so grateful to everyone for the love, patience and dedication they show every child.

We would highly recommend this nursery to any family looking for a safe place to look after their child!

We've always felt confident leaving our girls in their care, and they've played a big part in helping them settle, learn, and develop. I would and do recommend them to any parent looking for a nursery where their child will be well looked after.

Both my little boy and little girl have gone to Busy Bees since they were 10 months old. They have the absolute best time every day! The staff are always lovely and helpful and take great care of both my kids. I am super grateful to have found this lovely place. I will be sad when my little boy leaves to go to school in September.

I would, and do, recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their child to start.

Since the previous management team and several experienced staff members left, the setting appears unsettled, poorly managed, and lacking clear leadership. There are constant staffing changes, with unfamiliar agency staff regularly caring for my child, affecting consistency, routines, and emotional security. I often struggle to get hold of managers, concerns and complaints go unanswered, and communication is poor. I have personally raised concerns and received little reassurance or response. I am also concerned about staffing levels and qualifications within the nursery. There appear to be insufficient appropriately qualified staff across the rooms, raising concerns about supervision, safeguarding, and whether my child's individual needs are being met consistently. My child's personal care can appear rushed due to staffing pressures. My child has become increasingly unsettled and now does not want to attend nursery. I have noticed increased clinginess, emotional distress, and disrupt

It has been so easy for my daughter to settle at this nursery and the staff have been so kind, caring, and thoughtful with her time there. They keep us updated throughout the day and form genuine connections with the children in their care. All the children seem to enjoy their time there, and the staff are always planning new activities to help them learn.

I would highly recommend busy bees Spital to everyone.
