We are really happy with Busy Bees Stotfold. Our son has been in the Bombos room (1-2yrs) for almost a year now. He settled really quickly into the nursery and has a lovely relationship with his key worker and all the room staff. He loves the food, toys and activities and really enjoys the outside space too. We like that the Busy Bees app is easy to use and we can easily check from our phones what our son has eaten, how long he has slept for etc. The staff are professional and caring and we know that our son is well looked after while he's at nursery.

I'm really disappointed with our experience at this nursery. Unfortunately, the level of care and consistency just hasn't been good enough.

There has been a serious issue with staff turnover - so many members of staff have left, which made it difficult for anyone to properly understand or support my son's needs. He had an ISP in place, but with new or unfamiliar staff coming in, it often felt like this wasn't being followed or even known about. He didn't receive the help and attention he should have.

Another major problem has been reliability. My son's room was closed multiple times due to staff shortages, sometimes with very little notice. On some occasions, we were told last minute that he couldn't attend at all. There were even times when he was only able to go in one day a week because there simply weren't enough staff. This is incredibly difficult for working parents who depend on consistent childcare.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this nursery

My child has been at the nursery for a year now starting in Baby Bombos and is now going in to her third room. It was the best choice I ever made, from the start every key worker has been so attentive, lovely to speak to and the office staff are always really welcoming. Whenever there's something my child needs or an area that they believe she might need help with, they give really helpful advice and work with you. The rooms are filled with loads of toys, things to challenge the children and lovely outside spaces appropriate for the different ages.

The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to supporting our child's development. The environment is safe, welcoming, neat and well organised, with a good balance of learning and play. We especially appreciate the clear communication from staff and the updates we receive about his progress on the school application.

The nursery itself has always been managed well. I find communication to parents excellent.

We're so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our little boy and our baby will be starting there soon too.

Beyond the excellent care for the children, the staff and management at Great Denham have shown real sympathy and understanding for parents going through difficult circumstances at home. They've been flexible, communicative, and emotional support has been offered when needed, which has meant a lot to our family.

We've had a relationship with Busy Bees since September 2019, when our daughter started at 8 months old. There is a family feel to the nursery with many of the staff still around who also know our daughter when we go in to drop off or collect our son who is currently in the Toddler room. It is a warm and nurturing environment, with a great outdoor space and a wide range of activities for the children to explore. We're delighted with the level of care and clear commitment to providing a great experience for our children.

My daughter has attended busy bees in Great Denham for nearly 3.5 years. She has absolutely loved her time at busy bees. She made a great friendship group and the staff were all very friendly and caring. I would recommend this nursery to all friends and family.

My experience with Busy Bees has been nothing short of amazing. They are so helpful, accommodating and amazing with my son. He has learnt so much and is so comfortable with all the staff. I would highly reccommend.

My daughter is going to Busy Bees Nursery at Manton Lane since April 2025. Initially we were worried about how little one get adjust & in nursery, but she settled in nicely quite fast. I believe she now love nursery and enjoy everytime there. Staffs in nursery especialy in the moon room are amazing. They took very good care of her and be whatever in all she needs. We are very thankful for all they have done to our little one.

I had a few teething problems in the beginning settling our daughter in but the team and management were great at addressing them quickly. Communication has been clear and consistent especially since the new app has been introduced, the resources provided for the children are good and always being refreshed. But what really stands out for me, is her key workers throughout her journey and the team in general are kind, caring, and genuinely committed to the her wellbeing and development. It's clear they really love what they do, and that makes all the difference. I always feel happy when dropping her off that they will provide her with the support and love that she needs!

My daughter absolutely loves her time at this nursery! From the very beginning, we've been so impressed with the caring and friendly staff who make every child feel welcome and safe. The meals provided are nutritious and well-balanced, and my daughter always talks about how yummy the food is! It's clear the children are well looked after and truly enjoy being there - the happy atmosphere is felt as soon as you walk in. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful place where our child can learn, grow, and have fun every day. Thank you to the amazing team!

Our experience of the nursery so far has been exceptional. My child has blossomed so much since being here. Communication is amazing, and no question is too much for anyone. The staff are so friendly and easily approachable. I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

Couldn't be happier with the care/ service we have received from busy bees. Our little girl started when she was 10 months and the staff made us feel so reassured that she was in great hands! She is always coming home with art work and I love the frequent uploads to the app. All of this has made our first few months a dream.
