Having had my daughter in nursery from 9 months, me and her father spent time looking around appropriate nursery that we felt our daughter would gain the most knowledge and preparation for school. Somewhere she would feel comfortable, have the ability to have plenty of fun, lots of nature and role play,
while still have an element of structure in place to prepare our daughter for her next steps from early years to primary school. As soon as we walked in to Busy Bees we knew we found the right nursery for our daughter. I can honestly say our daughter has had the best experience being at Busy Bees, she has thrived with every room and has thoroughly excelled hitting all her learning targets and is fully ready for school. She has made some lovely friends and her key workers have all been so attentive to her needs and have her utmost best interests at heart. I will truly miss bringing my daughter to Busy Bees and it was very sad to say goodbye. Thank you Busy Bees, we will miss you a lot.

We love Busy Bees St Neots. They have always taken such good care of our daughter. Everyone has time for her and are genuinely interested in her and what she does outside of nursery. At the end of everyday they take the time to explain what she's been doing and how she has been. She always eats very
well too!

My son has been at Busy Bees since he was 1 and absolutely loves it. We have found all the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. Every staff member says hello and knows my little boys name even if he is yet to reach their room. We always get a detailed account of what he has been up
to each day on pick up which we really appreciate. His key workers are great at getting to know his likes and go above and beyond in making sure they have activities set up that will spike his interest. I would recommend Busy Bees to any new parents looking for their child.

My son has been attending Busy Bees at St Neots since he was 9 months old & is now approaching the time to leave to start school. Since starting, my son has enjoyed being a part of every room from baby through to preschool. Walking in, we are always greeted with smiling faces, warm welcomes & breakfast
on the table. My sons imagine has been able to flourish at nursery & it knows no bounds. Busy Bees has allowed him to be brave enough to be himself & has taught him how to recognise his emotions which have made different processes at home & out about alot more enjoyable as he has been able to express what he is really feeling. Nursery rhymes & story time is a big talking point for my son & really enjoys showing & telling me about the things they have been learning, talking about & exploring. There is always fun activities at the ready as well as having the space to be alone & have quiet time. The gardens are always a fun time too. We love Busy Bees & will be using them for our next child

We have just enrolled our second daughter at Busy Bees and yet again are having nothing but a positive experience. Our daughter has taken a little while to settle but the staff have been fantastic at helping her to transition and keeping me up to date with how she is doing throughout the day. They always
give a thorough handover at pick up times and I feel like they really care for our daughter and are getting to know her personality so well. The staff are all so friendly and always take the time to have a chat. The app is updated throughout the day and there are regular picture updates too which is lovely to see. I'm so pleased we've chosen Busy Bees again and wouldn't have considered any other nursery in the area

Busy Bees St Neots has looked after my son since he was 6 months old until he finished this April to move on to pre-school and I cannot thank them all enough for everything they have done these last three years. The warm welcome every single morning from the minute you walk through the door and are
greeted by the wonderful manager and/or deputy manager, through any staff you pass in the corridors who always make an effort to stop and say hello, into the room where our keyworkers and room staff are always there with a smile on their face with brilliant activities set up and toast at the ready. Since my son has attended Busy Bees, he has absolutely flourished, he is confident and brave and I am so grateful to all the staff for everything they have done to nurture his character. He formed an incredibly strong bond with each of his key workers, all taking real care to get to know him and what his interests are and made an effort to enter his world and become such huge parts of it. Thank you!

My son has so much fun at Busy Bees Nursery. He has been attending since he was six months old and is now leaving for school. He has grown as a confident, polite, courteous child thanks to the staff onsite. The rooms are clean, even though they are well used and the activities vary to ensure the children
are constantly engaged. The staff are all passionate about making sure the children have fun and they take time to hear how my son's weekend has been. Anything he is proud of, they listen and encourage him to share with his peers. The food is also amazing. We wish the chef would share her recipes!

My baby girl has moved to Bombo's room 2 and all the team are very supportive, welcoming and friendly as this is a big change for her. She enjoys all the planned activities that her key person has organised and she always is happy to be at the nursery. Very friendly staff from the moment you cross the
main door. Facilities are very well looked after and the rooms are clean. I love popping in at any time and dropping off/picking up my baby from her room.

We love Busy Bees and how much they care. Recently they acquired a new bird table in memory of a little one. They involved the preschool children in voting for their favourite bird table design. Once the bird table arrived, they also involved them in planting flowers and preparing a little garden around
it. We love how much they care about children and nature and how the little ones learn more about values and caring for others. Our daughter also has a lot of fun every day and almost jumps out of bed on her Busy Bees days. She loves story time, her keyworker, all the creative activities and exploring the garden with her friends. It is like home away from home.

My three children are very happy at Busy Bees St Neots, I would definitely recommend. The staff are lovely and I feel like they genuinely care bout my children, for example worrying about them when they're sick. There are always lots of different activities and themes for the children to play with and
a real focus on natural materials and exploring the natural world.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees nursery St Neots to any parent. My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was less than 12 months old. As parents we feel we are lucky to have found the right place for our child. The staff are so caring and look after her very well - right from the baby
room, toddler room and now pre-school. The nursery have a very detailed activity plan for each week, which are very engaging for the child. Meals provided are very healthy and my daughter enjoys her lunch and snacks. The biggest compliment I can give about the nursery is that my child attends 5 days a week and she is still enthusiastic about going to the nursery every morning. Thanks to all the staff for being so friendly and caring, particularly during challenging times like the pandemic

I am so, so happy that we sent our son to Busy Bees. The staff is extremely helpful, supportive and kind. The place is very clean and all the rooms are equipped with lots of fun, practical toys and things. We are regularly updated by the staff on the app, which is fantastic, because we can see our baby
boy having lots of fun and food. If I could, I would probably sign myself up to have so much fun and yummy snacks. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Also, the management team is outstanding!

I am thrilled that my daughter has been in this nursery. She did create a lovely bond with her peers and each support worker she has been assigned. Everyone has been so lovely with us, and for me, it is essential to trust the staff. They have been outstanding in helping me with her education and everything
that I request from them, such as potty training. I couldn't ask for better care of my girl. I will be forever grateful to Busy Bees St Neots.

My son has been attending Busy Bees, St Neots for the last two years and our experience has been a hugely positive one. The setting is well equipped, friendly and warm. He has been in a number of different rooms within the nursery and at each stage has developed good relationships with the staff who
care for him. It is clear that learning is child-led and opportunities for play and learning vary according to the interests of the children. My little boy particularly enjoys the many opportunities for creative and messy play. I'd happily recommend the setting to other parents.

My almost three years old daughter has been at Busy Bees since she was nine months old. She has been through three room changes already, moving from babies to older groups, and now recently started in pre-school. Through all the time at the nursery my daughter has been always happy and excited to go
there, she loved all the nursery staff as they all build a great connection with the child. Her journey is incredibly valuable - she has learnt so much being there, her speech and social skills evolved so much. The staff is so accommodating, my daughter tends to be very stubborn - but they all always know how to work with her to keep her happy despite that. During Covid, the nursery management did absolutely amazing work - being super informative and helpful, but also making sure children and parents stay safe during that difficult time during drop-offs and pick-ups. I could not find any fault in the nursery, management and all staff are doing amazing work, I fully trust them with my child.

I have always had a very positive experience with Busy Bees St Neots since my son joined in 2019. All the staff are absolutely fantastic with the kids and really make an effort in all their activities and record various things on an app, so we are kept up to date each day on what is happening throughout
the day. They provide really good meals for the kids and they have always been very careful where my son's food allergies are concerned. I can't fault them, I think they are doing a brilliant job and have been there for the kids and parents throughout the pandemic, going above and beyond. I will continue recommending them because they are fab.

My son has been at Busy Bees St Neots since Q3 2020 joining in the middle of the Covid pandemic.
Being at Busy Bee's has been incredibly valuable to him offering the socialisation opportunities he richly needed coupled with building strong relationships with his primary caregiver. The nursery seems
to have managed the transition between caregivers well and using the ParentZone app to keep us updated on his development as we have been unable to visit him during the day due to current restrictions.
I have no negative comments to share regarding the nursery, their efforts through this incredibly challenging covid period have been greatly appreciated and I thank them for the care they provide my son.

My son has been attending Busy Bees St Neots since he was 9 months (he's just turned 2 now) and he absolutely loves it! The staff are always friendly, supportive and provide regular updates on his progress and development. Transitioning between rooms is always a stressful time but with every room he's
been progressing through, the staff have made sure the move is as smooth and supportive as possible and he settles in each time quickly. The menus are always diverse, providing a wide variety of meals throughout the month. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.881)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.881) out of 10 for Busy Bees St Neots is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.958 for Busy Bees St Neots is calculated as follows: ( (69 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.958
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.923 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees St Neots is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 93 number of registered child places is 18.6. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 18.6 = 0.323
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
