Overall Experience

Had high hopes for this nursery but ended up pulling my son out on his 2nd settling in session, after seeing how they care for the children, it isn't so great! The rooms are also dull and nothing like the photos. Staff didn't interact with my son at all plus other issues we seen regarding my son and

other children. Majority of the children there were crying and not being consoled at all. This was very upsetting to see. We complained to the area manager and she basically implied we were lying and refused to give our deposit back (because she didn't want to, we were told) and then a few days later, we were told any money we paid for the 2 sessions he never actually attended wasn't going to be refunded either! Absolute shambles of a nursery, Take your children elsewhere! Management are liars and just tell you what you want to hear, it's all about money to them. I can now see why they had spaces available compared to any other nursery around. We would never recommend this nursery to anyone.

Overall Experience

The environment is so welcoming and my son loved it. The teachers are amazing and the settling in was so smooth for my son because of the wonderful and amazing team.

Overall Experience

Busy Bees Nursery is brilliant and has always worked well for our children. Staff are great. Management is amazing and always helpful. Facilities could be modernised but I don't have any real issues.

Overall Experience

Our 3-year-old son has been attending the nursery for two years and he loves it. They do lots of activities every day, take trips out into town and offered my son additional help with his speech, which he has benefitted from. All the way through, the staff have all been friendly and genuinely care about

the children. Often throughout handovers, I can tell that the staff really understand my son and his unique character traits. Management has always been a pleasure to deal with. We have a 3-month-old daughter who will be attending next year. Only negative is the lack of parking but honestly, it is rare you are ever held up by another parent, so makes little difference in practice. My son is a vegetarian and has always been catered for with nice meal options. Overall, it is a lovely nursery, can't think how it could be any better.

Overall Experience

Our child joined just over a year ago and we were content when they first started. However, over the last year sadly it has gone down hill to the point in which we are awaiting an opportunity to move our child.
There is a high turnover of staff, including 4 different Centre Directors in the last 12

months.
Dropping our child off in the mornings is very depressing as the room is just sad. It looks nothing like the beautiful photos online of different areas with fun-filled activities. The room is sparse with just a few random, tired looking toys plonked here and there; most looking like they have been left out from days before.
The nursery has an app which is rarely kept up to date with info on food, sleep and nappies. We used to receive regular photos of our child’s learning which was wonderful but now have had nothing in over 6 months.
The only thing going for the nursery is the room staff are helpful but sadly they are being let down by the poor management.

My eldest has been attending Busy Bees Prestbury Road for two years. He absolutely loves it. They provide a wide range of activities and tailor to things that are going on in the children’s lives/their current likes. Communication is very good both through the app and at handovers. My youngest is starting

Overall Experience

Our child has a fabulous time at this nursery and has really developed socially during their time here. They are always excited to come and see their friends, tell us great stories about the fun they've had with different carers and friends and what they've eaten that day which has good variety. It

was the same when my older child (now in school) went to this nursery two years ago. We've been attending this nursery for over three years now and have seen it develop and improve constantly. I'd totally recommend this nursery to anyone.

Overall Experience

Our daughter has attended the nursery since she was 9 months old and we're happy with how she's developing there. She's always excited to go into nursery in the morning and see the staff.
Positives:
- really lovely staff who genuinely care about her well-being and enjoyment
- generally, a good variety

of foods to keep her trying new things
- lots of playtime in the garden
- staff are responsive to parental requests for support, e.g. role-playing something at nursery that the child may be struggling with at home.
- excellent daily summary via the app, plus an in-person handover at pick-up.

Could be better:
- indoor space is used well but is relatively small therefore there are very few gross-motor physical development toys e.g steps, ramps, tunnels
- some of the children's rooms have to be used as transit to other rooms, therefore you have parents of other age groups walking through the room, including during nap time.

Overall Experience

This is a lovely nursery with dedicated staff who are welcoming and friendly. I like that it's not too big, feels like the staff all get to know the parents and children very well. My daughter has been coming for 2 years, she loves her teachers and has made some great little friends too. The key staff

in the rooms work very hard to make the environments fun and engaging, they take great care of the kids, and get to know their individual personalities. My daughter is now in the pre-school room, getting ready for school in September!! The staff are providing a great nurturing mix of early learning education along with all sorts of activities including role play, good old messy play and running about in the garden, weather permitting! The cooks are firm favourites too and she loves almost all the food, I'm often envious myself! The parent app is also handy with regular updates on meal times, learning snapshots & photo's of activities. I'm so happy with the whole experience.

I can only say great things about Busy Bees and the staff at this nursery. I was originally put off sending my twins here due to it being a large chain but after sending them to a local independent nursery and having a very bad experience I have had nothing but positive things to say. The staff are

so wonderful with my boys, their days are so structured and I get feedback everyday. Their in-house cook makes them wonderful food and my boys have seconds nearly everyday. Will be sad when they have to go to school. Special mention to the staff in the preschool room. And to the manager who is wonderful and made me feel like a friend when he showed me around.

Overall Experience

My little nephew has been at Busy Bees, Quedgeley, for a few months now. As an auntie, I have been very happy to see how much my nephew has grown and developed, you can see a major difference in his social skills since being at nursery. He goes in which a smile and you can see how eager he is to get

through the door and he always comes out with a smile! The staff are amazing and so welcoming, reassuring and know what they're talking about. My sister gets daily updates about food, nappies, sleep and even photos sent out of my nephew playing, or what activities are out for the day. There have been plenty of times I have picked him up from nursery and the staff always double check for passwords and if I'm on the collection list, which makes me feel more at ease that my nephew is safe! The manager is so lovely and has always ensured my family that we are able to pop into the office if we ever need anything - so thank you. I've never seen such enthusiastic, caring people. Overall Experience

Our son is due to leave for school in the coming months and we couldn’t thank the nursery enough. He has been at Busy Bees Quedgeley since he was a baby and he has come so far! The team are wonderful and the manager really knows his nursery and the children. We’ve never had a problem and have recommended

to friends who have since joined. The nursery is clean, the activities on the app are fab and our son always tells us what he’s been up to, that to us speaks volumes! We are so sad to be leaving but will continue to recommend Busy Bees Quedgeley for years to come!

Overall Experience

Since first visiting the nursery, we were struck by the incredibly welcoming and passionate staff as well as the clean and well-thought-out spaces which seem perfectly designed for all the different age groups. Our child attends preschool and we have not hesitated in recommending it to others looking

for a nurturing environment with varied and fun activities and led by staff who genuinely care for and understand the children they look after. We especially like the fact the nursery is small enough for the staff to get to know the parents and children really well. Couldn’t be happier with our experience so far!

Overall Experience

All of the Busy Bees staff have been absolutely wonderful at getting things back to normal after covid, for both us and our son. Our son is really enjoying lots of new experiences and adventures within the grounds and I'm sure he'll love the upcoming sports day event. Our son loves to eat a range of

food that they provide. It's easy with the diary to see what he is getting up to and what he does each time he is at nursery. We are really grateful for the time they help in nurturing and supporting our son.
