My son started at Busy Bees in August 2025, and the staff have been absolutely amazing. He has multiple food allergies, and the management team at the Letchworth branch carried out a thorough risk assessment before his start date. Thanks to their diligence, he has never had an allergic reaction there-something
we thought would be almost impossible to avoid, but they've managed it flawlessly! This has given us tremendous peace of mind, and he truly loves everyone at the nursery.
They even support his physiotherapy, which has been a huge help for his motor skills development. The activities they provide are fantastic, and we really appreciate all the photo updates. The app is incredibly useful, especially during those early days when you're anxious about how your child is settling in.
The nursery itself is lovely, clean, welcoming, and with an amazing garden. We would wholeheartedly recommend Busy Bees to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and engaging environment.

My son has attended Busy Bees in Hertford for a year now and we've been incredibly pleased with them. The staff are great and Jo and Stacey have been hugely gracious in answering questions and making us feel confident in their care. We've appreciated how our son's progression has been handled. Transitions
into older classes have been smooth. He's grown loads in terms of confidence and skills since joining. That's certainly thanks to the carers and the mix of structure and play. There is a real sense that everyone pitches in to support the kids. They have a great range of activities for the kids and loads of toys that encourage life skills, motor skills, and imagination. Finally, I love that when weather permits, they're outside.
Ultimately, I'd recommend Busy Bees Hartham Commons. The app is easy to use and carers seem to use it a good amount. We feel that our son is safe and well taken care of. Which gives us great peace of mind.

We moved to Busy Bees after my son was not settling in his old nursery. Since joining busy bees I have seen a huge difference in his confidence but also his learning and understanding. The staff and management are extremely approachable , knowledgable and caring and kind towards my son. He has difficulties
coming into nursery but I feel confident he's looked after and enjoys his whole day once he's in. He often talks about nursery even on weekends and I'm extremely happy with his place here !

This nursery was originally our second choice due to location and another being nearer but everything happens for a reason. I was so nervous about the nursery experience and the staff really listened have been great with the transition and our child is thriving and loving their time there. They come
out smiling now and hold hands out for cuddles back with the staff which is lovely to see. The staff are always coming up with new ideas and we've been really impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would like to thank the staff for their time and effort daily.
There is a variation of activities and incorporating different festives and holidays across the year what we've seen so far.
The team are very responsive to emails and any enquires.

We have a one year old in the baby room at Bernard Street and a three year old in the pre school room (who has been at this nursery from 11 months old). The nursery has been great since Kerri took over. The staff are caring and friendly, and clearly really love the kids. The baby room team are incredibly
sweet and kind, and the pre school teachers are passionate about teaching the little ones. Kerri is highly communicative and competent, and clearly really cares about the children and the nursery, and it really shows. As first-time parents, the idea of sending our baby to nursery felt quite daunting. Our little one has settled in beautifully, and it's clear to see just how much he enjoys his time there. The baby room is absolutely gorgeous. Always spotless, calm, and so well-organised. It creates such a nurturing
environment that instantly put us at ease. Katie, in particular, has been fantastic with our son. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care have made a real difference, and we're so grateful for the bond she's built with him. It's lovely to see him interacting more and learning by watching the older children. The space is stimulating, well thought out, and clearly encourages curiosity and development. Every morning, we feel completely reassured when we drop him off. He happily stretches his arms out to the team with a big smile on his face which is all the reassurance we need that he's in great hands! Going back work and sending my only baby to nursery was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Like so many other parents, it was not a choice for us but something we had to do. The choice we did have was what nursery to send her to, and we couldn't have been happier with choosing Busy Bees
in St Michael's Mead, Bishop's Stortford.


Right from our first settling session, the whole team were so kind and supportive, not just to my daughter but to me as well. They made the whole process as smooth and easy as this tough situation could be, and what amazes me is how much they cater to each child's needs and challenges.


The regular updates are so reassuring and it's so much more than just child care, our daughter is developing and we are provided with ideas to help her develop further.


We're so happy with Busy Bees and believe our daughter is getting the best start.

My son has been at Busy Bee's since November 2024 and from the moment he started we have had such an amazing experience. He took a little while to get comfortable but all members of staff really made it their mission to help with his settle. All of the staff are so attentive and you can see have a real
passion for child care. I always feel really informed and the communications are always top tier which I feel is really important. Busy Bees became a second home for our daughter. It was amazing to see how her confidence grew over the year she's been with the nursery. She joined pre-school from a different nursery and I was a bit worried about the change, but the teachers made her feel so welcome and the transition was beautifully
smooth. I also love the wonderful variety of activities the children are engaged in - they learn remarkably advanced concepts through playful exploration, and they're free to discover and experiment in such a safe, nurturing environment, which I value tremendously. The care and dedication of the staff truly shine through in everything they do. I couldn't recommend Busy Bees highly enough!

I was naturally quite nervous about sending my child to nursery, but I've been happy with our experience so far. The nursery uses a really good app that keeps me updated on my child's day, and the occasional photos they share are always so appreciated -though I'd love to see a few more. One of the things
I value most is how accommodating the nursery has been with changes to days or hours. This flexibility makes a big difference for families. The recent renovations to the nursery have also been noticed and are much appreciated. They were needed and have made a positive impact. Areas of improvements: young babies and older toddlers share the same room, which I don't feel is ideal. More consistency in staffing would also be beneficial. Some give detailed handovers at pickup (which I find incredibly helpful and reassuring), while others can be a bit brief or vague. It would be useful for parents to receive more information on the weekly menus (other nurseries do this).

Busy Bees will be always special for our family because my son was very happy to go this school.also his lovely teachers teached him english...all teachers and staff very kind and helpful. my son started reception but still talking about busy bees:)thank you all for everything

My daughter settled very well and she is happy to go there. Staff are very friendly and they actually know my child. They are always keen to support my girl and help her learn something new. Also, they have recently launched a new app and it is so easy to check basic information about school day as
well as contact them (in case I can't give them a call)! Very happy with the nursery and I would definitely recommend it.
