Wonderful nursery, where all staff are exceptional and the children adore them. The nursery is a fantastic space where they all go above and beyond for all children. My daughter has been going to Busy Bees Edwalton for almost 3 years now and I feel so lucky that she attends there. It's a gorgeous nursery and every single person who works there are brilliant. They take such care with all the children and are fully aware of all of their needs and quirks. The communication
is fantastic and my daughter comes home having had a great day, every day!
I'll be sad when she leaves to go to big school, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anybody. WONDERFUL!

My daughter has been at the nursery for a year now, having started when she was 7 months old. Sending your baby full-time to nursery at that age can be daunting, but right from the get-go everyone has been so welcoming, supportive, and reassuring.
She's grown, developed, and learned so much since joining.

It's wonderful to see how confidently she interacts with both the staff and other children of all ages. What really stands out is how every member of staff makes a real effort to get to know all the children - even those not in their main room. It creates such a warm, familiar atmosphere throughout the whole nursery.
The food is also fantastic, so varied and nutritious. It really helped with weaning, and now my daughter eats absolutely everything!
The team truly go above and beyond, not just for the children but for the parents too, which makes such a difference.
Seeing how happy and engaged all the children are really says it all. Our experience has been incredibly positive.

Busy Bees at Nottingham Uni is a wonderful, welcoming environment for little ones. The team go above and beyond to make sure children feel safe and looked after, all the way up to the management level. We have found communication both easy and friendly, while the rooms are clean, spacious and child-friendly.
I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery on or close to the campus.

Our experience with the nursery has been great. The fascilities are really good and work well for a nursery the way it's all set up. We've also been very impressed with the food provision which is really varied and provides good exposure to a range of flavours that we may not have at home. The only
area I could see to improve would be the end of day handovers, often at busy times these can be rushed and inpersonal. It would be good to hear specifically about my child and what they like or dislike instead of just hearing about what they did and what they ate.

We cannot speak highly enough about this nursery. The staff are absolutely brilliant, they clearly care deeply for the children and have created an environment for them to thrive. Our daughter loves going to nursery, and has formed a close bond with several of the team. She has come on so much since
starting, thanks to their dedication and care. The facilities are fantastic, and there's never a dull moment. The food is fresh and nutritious (which our daughter inhales) and there's lots of activities to do. Genuinely a super happy parent, and would definitely recommend. It has made going back to work much easier knowing that she's settled, and is being thoroughly supported and cared for.

constantly talking about her teachers and friends. This is testament to to the care the nursery has provided.
The communication via the app has been excellent and it is always lovely to see pictures of activities she is doing whilst i am at work during the day. She has really thrived and come out of her shell. The Pre-school has played a huge role in this and has prepared her very well to start school this year through their various activities . Our son has been attending Busy Bees since he was 8 months old and will soon be moving on to school. He has always loved going, often running in without a backwards glance. Staff are really friendly and have given my son fantastic care since January 2022, and are now helping him to prepare for going to school. The food always seems great and my son enjoys it. I'd like to hear more about the learning elements (phonics and number work mainly) that they do in preschool (buzz)
but other than that I'm very happy with everything they've done for my son.

I had a really disappointing experience with this nursery. I am familiar with Busy Bees from elsewhere in the country and knew it was a chain and not to expect miracles. My daughter was booked in from the start of May. I went along to the first settling in session and there were a few red flags - myself
and my daughter were not spoken to for an hour, none of the adults I saw smiled or engaged the children in play, when I asked about activities I was told 'it was more free flow here'. It felt like the staff were there to earn a wage - which ultimately they are, but other settings I have been to have staff who love children and this shows!
I felt so uncomfortable that this is the experience my daughter would have while I was there, what would happen when I wasn't. I spoke to the manager and explained my experience who said this wasn't the normal case. Even though the service was not as described on the website/by the staff I did not receive my deposit back. Advice - avoid if you can!

My daughter absolutely loves it here. All the staff are friendly super helpful and caring. They are very supportive set up great settling in sessions and help your little ones settle in. We are incredibly grateful for the nurturing environment and exceptional care our child has received at the nursery since joining at 2.5 years old. As a Chinese family new to the UK, our child initially spoke no English. The teachers kindly asked me to record videos for our child to help him feel more
secure and understand basic needs. We've truly seen how the teachers support emotional learning and regulation. They are also wonderful observers, noticing our child's interests such as airplanes, rockets and how our child approaches his artwork and tracking his language development. We've also witnessed the strong bonds our child has formed with specific teachers and friends. As parents, we are truly delighted with our choice of this nursery, which has provided a positive, loving and supportive place for our child's growth and development.
