Busy Bees Ashbourne

We are really pleased with the care at Busy Bees. The staff are professional, friendly, practical and have an amazing ability to remember everyone's name to make it a personal experience! They have really bought our daughter on. Thank you!

Our boys have absolutely loved their time at Busy Bees Ashbourne. From the moment we moved to Ashbourne, the team helped our eldest settle in so quickly, creating a real sense of comfort and belonging. The staff are consistently caring, patient and genuinely invested in the children, and it makes such a difference seeing the same friendly faces each day. Our youngest loves the activities, the outdoor space and the variety of learning experiences, and they always come home excited to tell us what they've been doing. The nursery feels safe, clean and well organised, and communication with parents is always clear and reassuring. We're truly grateful for the support, stability and kindness the team have shown our family, and we know we'll really miss Busy Bees once our youngest goes to school this September.

My daughter loves nursery so much. She always talks about all her friends and what they did today and what her favourite thing was. Emma is a star, and so are the rest of the girls. We have loved our busy bees experience! We will be so sad when we go to big school!

Both of my little ones absolutely love it at nursery. They are so well looked after by the staff. I'm kept up to date about what they've been doing and eating which is very reassuring. It is nice to know that they are in good hands!

My son has been attending Busy Bees Ashbourne since January 2026. He loves coming for his sessions and the staff can't do enough for him. They have created great bonds and I always feel he is safe and well looked after.

Always a warm and welcoming environment and nothing is to much from all staff. My child's progress has come on leaps and bounds and is learning new things every day! I feel the help my child is receiving for getting them ready for school is excellent and I am feel confident with then going to school.

The updates throughout the day are amazing and make me feel so reassured that she's looked after and is having a good day!

My son loves the team at busy bees. Everyone is so helpful, welcoming and caring from the point you arrive at the door, send an email enquiry, add a day or collect your child. A really stable core team of staff, which means the children get the time with staff to really build relationship over a long period of time that supports their development and learning. The coms is good and the food is excellent according to my son. Hannah food gets 5 stars.

He is well cared for and has developed significantly over the past 2 years.

The meals are varied and well thought out-I only wish I could get my child to eat the same way at home! Everyone is friendly, and there's such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We couldn't be happier.

We have been really pleased with Busy Bees Ashbourne, our nearly 4 year old absolutely loves going, is so happy and has made so much progress since being there. Our 16 month old twins are equally happy there and have made really close bonds with the staff. The staff are wonderful and the best thing about the nursery, so caring, kind and will do absolutely anything to help.

My little boy has been going to Busy Bees Ashbourne for just over 6 months and we've had a fantastic experience. The staff are all lovely and attentive, they have really got to know our boy and he's very well cared for. They spend lots of time outside and doing activities. The food is also great, with loads of variety! We have never had any issues and our little one seems very content and happy there.

Management are very friendly

Our son has been attending Busy Bees Ashbourne since he was 11 months old. He's now 17 months and is really thriving there. The staff are always so positive, friendly and kind, and it really shows in the care and support he receives. He's settled really well and is learning and exploring new things every day. Much more than I'd be able to do with him at home. We feel really happy that he's safe and content while at nursery and love seeing the updates on the app. We couldn't recommend the team and setup at Busy Bees Ashbourne highly enough.

A great nursery that my daughter absolutely loves attending. It’s been fantastic to see how much she’s learnt and developed over the 2.5 years she has been there. The management and all the staff are amazing and it’s a really friendly and welcoming environment for the children and parents/carers alike. Good range and balance of activities to ensure the children both have lots of fun and learn new skills. It’s great to have somewhere that we know our daughter is happy, safe, well fed and well cared for and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery.
