Day Nurseries Owned by Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd in Derbyshire

Could do with air con in the summer for the children and the staff wellbeing

We have been absolutely delighted with our experience at Busy Bees Alton Manor. From the initial signing up process and settling in, the staff have been incredibly supportive and reassuring, particularly as first-time parents.

They have helped us navigate some of the more challenging toddler behaviours and have supported my child in developing her communication, social skills and understanding of emotions. It's lovely to hear about the songs she is learning and the different things she is picking up each day.

What really stands out is how much time the staff take to get to know each individual child. It is clear that they have a genuine interest in her - not just in keeping her safe and happy, but in helping her learn, develop and thrive.

We are so pleased we chose Busy Bees Alton Manor and couldn't be happier with the care and support she receives. Thank you to the whole team!

My daughter flourished at this nursery she gained so much confidence but also a bond with staff that was always beautiful to see. The one thing I loved about this nursery. Is how all the staff talk to you like ur a normal person and have a great amount of understanding . They really do care about the kids they care for but also the parents

From the moment Charlotte showed us around the nursery we have been wowed with the care of our daughter, the communication from the nursery and how well developmentally she is coming on. We love our daily updates from Marie, Tash and Hannah on her development and hearing all about her day from the other staff in the nursery. I love that all of the staff knows who she is and have formed a relationship with her, ready to make her moving onto the next room much easier for her. We couldn't think of a better nursery to send our daughter to.

Thank you all so much!

My daughter has just left to start school and we are both going to miss everyone. Highly recommend to anyone.

He always has a massive smile on his face when I come to pick him up and I think that's thanks to the lovely staff who do such a good job of looking after him.

From the very first show round and settling-in sessions, the team made us feel welcomed and reassured. They took the time to understand my son as an individual including their personality, their needs, their interests and they celebrate every milestone with us. The team has become an extension of our family and have been a valuable support to myself as I have no family locally. I always know my son is in the best hands and get regular updates. My son has loved every second of being there and loves all "his" ladies so much that he does not want to go to school September and instead stay at nursery - that is the true testament to the experience we have had!

We are very happy with Busy Bees and would happily recommend the nursery to other families.

Busy Bees Bishops Drive has been amazing and helped my daughter come on so much. She has become a confident little girl and is ready to start school with all the help and care the staff have given her. Nothing is every to much trouble for the staff, and they will help in every way possible. Everyone that has looked after my daughter from the baby room all the way though to pre school have been fantastic

Thank you all and I wish you all the best for the future.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the team for the care, kindness and dedication they have shown our family over the years. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a nurturing, friendly and professional setting for their child.

My son has been coming to Busy Bees for 9 month and the progression we have seen in his development is amazing. The staff at Busy Bees are so lovely and supportive, always happy to answer any question we have and very supportive with allergies and making sure that they accommodate these within his day at nursery. The nursery manager is also very lovely and welcoming on drop off and collections and she is always happy to help with any question and never made to feel like any question is too silly or small. Overall would recommend this nursery.

The Busy Bees team at Bishops Drive are brilliant. They are conscientious and caring, listen to what each child needs, and do whatever they can to help. Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was almost 2, and she's now prepping to leave for school. The whole team have got to know her well, worked with our preferences around nap times and potty training (a million thanks) and have helped her with additional needs around diet and speech. It was just the warm and welcoming environment we needed while she was little, and they have really nurtured her through to primary school. She gives it 20 thumbs up at the end of the day and we whole heartedly recommend it to others.

I can wholeheartedly say that the trust and rapport built with the staff has come effortlessly, and I feel completely happy knowing my child is in safe hands. The staff are always attentive, caring, and approachable, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Busy Bees Long Eaton to other local parents.

Recommend them to everyone.

My twins adore going to nursery and it's so nice to know they are somewhere that makes them happy and that they get excited for. All the staff are great, you get plenty of updates everyday and photos too, they really make an effort. Both of my girls have learned new skills and mastered ones that they hadn't fully developed since starting in February. One of my girls has really struggled with a fork for the longest time - no matter the amount I tried to encourage her, a couple of months in and she is so good at using her fork now and she's so proud of herself, and I'm so proud of her too. I 100% give credit to the nursery staff!

Marie his key worker is always so lovely and happy to see us and any issues the girls are always so open and all been fab!

My son started this nursery less than a year ago and he has settled in extremely well, he absolutely loves going to nursery! The staff have been brilliant and are very invested in his development and are always keeping us up to date with what he has been learning and focusing on each week. The staff are compassionate and genuinely care about the children and it really reassures me that he is in safe hands when he is there.

We are really pleased with the care at Busy Bees. The staff are professional, friendly, practical and have an amazing ability to remember everyone's name to make it a personal experience! They have really bought our daughter on. Thank you!
