Busy Bees Greenwich offers a welcoming environment for children aged from birth to five years old. With fun-filled activities and fantastic learning resources, your child will thrive during their stay at nursery!

At the nursery, the team work hard to keep each child engaged and busy throughout the day, helping them to build their confidence, curiosity and independence whilst they explore their interests.

Throughout the nursery there are bright and airy rooms designed to suit each age group and developmental stage. To help prepare pre-school children for the next big steps in their educational journey, the highly experienced team follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum when organising activities so that they are prepared for the school environment.

You can keep up to date through the Parent Zone app during your child's stay at nursery. The fantastic team will provide you with updates through the app on what your little one is getting up to, so you never miss a moment.

From first tour to now with my baby girl starting at Busy Bees Greenwich the staff. Have been amazing! I've never left my baby with anyone other than family. My husband and I were obviously nervous, all my worries have been put at ease and everyone is always so kind. The nursery is always beautifully
clean, the staff are all well presented and the children most importantly are always happy! Highly recommended on all levels. Special thanks to Mandy who showed us around and remembered our Daughter come said Hi on her settling in day, Kirsty who's answered my endless amount of emails and welcomed us everytime. Becky and Beana who are currently settling my baby girl in. They're amazing honestly, I cried my eyes out with happiness my baby would be in such amazing hands. Also Clara and Fatima, who helped with our first selling on day.
I can't thank you all enough and we're so grateful for you all! Thank you.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees Greenwich for the last 6 months. It is a small, personal, caring nursery and we have had a wholly positive experience. My child is now doing so well at this nursery. This nursery takes care in knowing and learning about each individual child. They give daily updates and also every time I collect they give a rundown of behaviour and what they have done, both good and bad.
I would recommend this nursery to everyone,
as I said my child was in another one before this one and the difference I'm seeing, the change, from language to behaviour to listening etc. They all are amazing and take care and pride and they are passionate.

I have been so happy with the service from Busy Bees Greenwich. All the staff are so professional and enthusiastic when it comes to caring for my 1.5-year-old and I am happy to go to work knowing she’s in safe hands. The nursery always provides exciting and stimulating activities for my child that I
wouldn’t be able to provide for her at home, so it’s nice to know she has the opportunity to experience this at the nursery. The nursery feels clean, safe and spacious and we have not had one negative experience throughout the time my child has attended. Communication from staff is always excellent with regular newsletters and consistent updates about my child via the app. I know I will be given a good handover by my child’s key worker at the end of the day. On the topic of key workers, my child has a fantastic key worker who has bundles of energy and time for my child. I could not ask for more, my child is thriving here. We couldn’t love Busy Bees at Greenwich more! We can’t believe how lucky we are to find them! Warm and loving staff go above and beyond to provide stimulating learning experiences. The settling process was slow, flexible and sensitive to our baby’s needs. The link to parents is also great, we’ve been
to two parents' events since he started and I am a member of the parent partnership. The absolutely lovely centre director really seems to look after the well-being of her staff, which means they are happy to come to work and happy when caring for our baby. The outside space is a particular positive! As it is large and has real grass and nature!

My daughter 18 months started back in mid-June 2023. She has been & still is fully breastfed meaning she eats food but won't use a bottle or cup for milk. I looked at so many nurseries before selecting Busy Bees Greenwich. They are a little more expensive than others but I have not for one second regretted
it. I cannot express how from the moment we viewed it I knew my daughter would be safe, learn and enjoy herself here. Not taking the bottle she took a while to settle and the staff were so patient and kind and offered suggestions and support. They have an interactive app where we receive updates throughout the day of how she is with photos of her enjoying the day which makes our time away from her easier to handle. I would recommend this nursery 100% I do not have one negative comment. The baby room is amazing and they change it around to keep children interested. Love the baby outside space and there is a much larger space when they get older. I feel 100% at ease knowing she is safe with them.

Our little one was not settling very well into nursery but the team at Busy Bees Greenwich worked well with us to ensure her transition worked.
Now she is absolutely loving nursery and we are so happy with her development, as well as the updates and work (paintings, cultural activities, etc) that is

This is my second review, as my younger son now attends Busy Bees. He absolutely loves it. Has great connections with the team, especially one member of staff in particular. Every day he says he had a fun time and brings home his creations and paintings.
I am always pleased with the level of communication
received from the management team and key person. Not only do they focus on play, but their development side comes along so much. At 3 years old he can identify all letters, write his name and write out words when we call out the letters. I will always recommend this nursery and have been very happy with both of my sons' experiences here.

My little boy was a very shy little boy before starting this nursery, me and my husband have seen such growth in him with just over a year attending Busy Bee Greenwich. Our son has been at Busy Bees since he was 8-months-old. He’s now two and a half and is absolutely thriving there.
Since he started, his communication skills have advanced rapidly, and they only continue to improve. He’s incredibly happy at nursery and cared with for affection by the staff, all whilst
being professional.
If we share things our son showed an interest in at home, then the nursery staff support his learning by building on this - adapting activities to advance his development. They also challenge him to learn new skills, which they share with us so we can support his learning at home.
The nursery team listen to any feedback we have, and handle us with the same patience and care they employ with my son.
I deeply appreciate how wonderful they’ve been as it has alleviated a lot of my ‘mum guilt’ about leaving him in the care of other people.
I would highly recommend this nursery.

Hi, my name is Kirsty Dunlop and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees Greenwich.


I have worked at Busy Bees for the past 14 years starting my Journey as a Qualified Early years educator in our Baby Unit working my way through the nursery I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education and a Level 3 in Leadership and Management. As well as being the Centre Director, I am the Fire Warden and the representative for Health and Safety. As the Centre Director, I ensure all children have a fun and stimulating environment to enjoy and I support the team at Greenwich to provide the best quality childcare.


I look forward to welcoming new families to our wonderful nursery in Woolwich.
