Day Nurseries Owned by Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd in Tyne & Wear

We couldn't imagine him anywhere else.

Wonderful nursery! My little one started just before his 1st birthday and we've just hit the 1 year mark. He absolutely loves going in each morning, you can really tell the staff go out of their way to get to know the little ones and their little routines (key worker or otherwise). My boy has really come on with his physical and verbal development since starting, I know he's in good hands and can't wait to see how he develops more over he next couple of years before school.

Busy bees accepted our son who had serious heart and other health problems and needed to be fed via a pump. They did the training and took him on and gave him some of the happiest times of his life. He was always happy to go to busy bees and we thank them for the amazing care they gave him.

Busy bees Doxford is a fantastic nursery with fantastic staff. They have made both my children's journeys within nursery so fantastic. They are very nurturing and caring but also support my children to grow and develop their skills, confidence and independence. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.

Settled in my second son to this amazing nursery. Two very different boys managed so well by the team. I knew my 2nd son would not go anywhere else. They are an amazing team lead by and amazing management team. Please never change. Us parent need you.

This nursery is absolutely incredible, I previously sent my child to another nursery, a nursery who were also rated highly by day nurseries but we had a number of challenges resulting in us pulling our child from there. He is now absolutely thriving, looks forward to nursery each day, I have more confidence than ever before and each and every person I come into contact with, are sensational and caring we honestly couldn't be happier with this nursery. From the staff, to the teachings, the food they are given and the outside space they enjoy - everything is simply wonderful.

My child has developed so much within the last 12 months spending 3 and a half days at nursery. The nursery and staff have been an amazing support for my child developing his speech & language, his social skills, intellectual skills and imagination. However, the biggest praise I can give; the staff cater for my child's needs in every way and take their time to understand his likes, dislikes, feelings, struggles and of course achievements. My son struggled with eating solid foods when he began at busy bees in March 2025, but since he will pretty much eat everything the nursery will provide (all super healthy tasty meals) which was a massive milestone for him. Sometimes he gets upset going into nursery on a morning as he doesn't want to leave me (as many toddlers do) but the staff are so welcoming and try to encourage him to focus on something else, like a new book or finding animals around the room; they are amazing.

Lovely team who work very hard to ensure the children are well taken care of and have a good balance of play and learning. My daughter has a lovely time at this nursery and they have taught her so much. We like that the team encourage outdoor play in all weathers. The meals always sound lovely and very balanced

My little boy Jones busy bees over 18 months ago, and I have nothing but great things to say about the nursery! The staff are amazing and you can really tell they all love their job. They all go out their way to really get to know your child. Harvey always enjoys his time at the nursery, the app is great as you can see what they do all day and the staff are really good at updating you about everything they're doing. I recommend everyone that has little babies to enrol their child here.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting in the baby room, the girls go out their way to help and support my daughter with all of her milestones and if I have any queries or worries they're always their first hand to give support or advice. My daughter absolutely loves going to busy bees and whenever I pick her up she is always full of smiles and will wave us off happily on a morning wanting to go with the girls. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Our daughter has now been attending Doxford park for 2 years and we could not fault it. She thrives and loves going and we feel the staff are like a second family and so attentive to her and know her so well. We are looking forward to our baby starting this year also!

Busy bees Doxford are brilliant with our daughter. Everyone we have met with are extremely friendly and helpful. Our daughter loves her time there and we know she's getting the best care and support.

I would happily recommend Busy Bees Nursery to any parent looking for a supportive, caring, and professional childcare setting.

My child has recently moved into a new room at Busy Bees. The staff have been fantastic in supporting with this transition and keeping me informed. The new app keeps me up-to-date throughout the day with photos, info and timings. Due to the support, communication and dedication of the team, she is thriving, and as a parent, I know she's in good hands. I'm more than happy with my decision to put my child in Busy Bees. The smile across her face as she sees her key workers, says more than words can.

Our girls have been at the nursery for 3 years, and they are always so supported. We feel like there is a genuine care for our children while they are there. They always work with them to ensure they are developing as they should.

My little girl has been at this nursey a whole year now and been in been in 3 different rooms. She has adjusted to each room great with the help from staff always having a face she known been around. Staff are on the ball if they ever think my child is unwell which is so reasuring. Most of all they all seem to care about our thoughts input and always amazing with my daughter. She loves coming to Nursey and this helps a lot havin to leave her for work x only slight issue is this new menu been few time my daughter hasn't ate anything as it's very random things, old menu was much better x

The nursery is fantastic my child has thrived since being there. Staff are friendly and always go out their way to say morning and smile. Plenty of opportunities indoor and outdoor for my child to explore. Would and already have recommended this nursery to family and friends.

We can see from taking him in and the photos we receive that he is comfortable and enjoys every minute at nursery which is very reassuring as parents.

My experience of busy bees and their staff members it's very positive , my son has been in the nursery for over 2 years and he has flourished. We love to see the daily activities he is engaging in. The staff are very professional and had his needs catered to in all aspects. They note. Some speech delay and assisted me with a referral to SALT. My son loves to come to nursery and has formed some lovely friendships.

We honestly couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are all absolutely amazing, so caring, patient, and genuinely invested in every child. Our son has come on so much since starting here, and it's so comforting as a parent knowing he's happy, safe, and well taken care off while he's there.
