Busy Bees Headingley Grove is a purpose-built facility, dedicated to age-appropriate childcare, a trained and trustworthy team of staff and a secure and healthy environment. The nursery has incorporated CCTV for parents’ peace of mind and carers look to offer advice and clarity on as many issues that affect children as possible.

Every child is allocated their own key person who pays close attention to personal development, looking to treat each youngster as an individual and to ensure they feel able to interact with their company and surroundings in a positive manner.

My son has been here for almost a year now. The staff are all amazing. So caring and encouraging. I'm able to drop my son in his designated from and the same for collection. I get to see how he settles and I can sneak in for collection and see him in the mist of playing. My son loves being outside,
they cater for this with outside play during most weather conditions. Splashing in puddles is even on the agenda. He's adapted to room changes well. Meals are provided however tea is more a snack for my son therefore I also give him tea with us. They provide everything down to nappies if you so wish. The opening and closing times fit well with my job allowing me to do both drops off and pick ups. If I have any issues or concerns I'm always listened to and taken seriously.

Great nursery! Fantastic staff, our girl goes here and they are excellent! She has come on so much since being at busy bees, the staff are excellent with her and she loves being there! The food is varied and our girl is always happy!

Really disappointed with this nursery after they served cheese to my son who is allergic to dairy. When I collected my son yesterday I arrived slightly early during teatime and was shocked to see a cheese stick on my son's tray as I had previously spent an hour filling out all of the registration paperwork
which included several documents where I declared the allergy.
When I raised it with the team on my way out, I was told that it was dairy cheese and 'it didn't look like he had eaten any' which for an allergy sufferer, is completely unacceptable.
Allergies are serious hence needing to disclose them and despite not thinking he ate any, my son did go on to have a reaction which caused him easily avoidable pain and discomfort.
This had the potential for a much worse outcome, and I don't have any trust or confidence in this nursery to properly care for or safeguard my child.
I would be cautious to consider them if your child also has allergies.

My daughter attends Busy Bees Rushmere, and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff are absolutely lovely - they're warm, caring, and genuinely take the time to get to know each child. Communication is excellent; they always keep me updated on my daughter's progress and daily activities.
Everyone is so helpful and supportive, which really puts my mind at ease knowing she's in such good hands. I can't recommend Busy Bees Rushmere enough!

It is a great nursery. I am so happy with it and my son has attended since August 2024.
The staff are fab. My son loves attending and has made lots of progress since being there. I really like that I can collect him from the room and find out everything he has been doing.

The best thing about the nursery is I am able to drop and pick up my boy from his designated room, it gives a glimpse of what they are going to do and what they have done. It also shows how the staffs keep everything neat and tidy; and provide a safe and warm place for their growth and development at

My daughter has attended Busy Bees Rushmere for nearly 4 years, and she has had an excellent experience, as have we as her parents. All the staff really care about my daughter and you can tell they take an interest in her wellbeing and her development. Her language and writing are excellent and I put
that down to the attention she has had while at nursery. The staff are friendly and diligent. The nursery itself is generally well kept and in good order and clean. The food is varied and I like that they encourage the children to try new foods. I am so glad we picked this nursery for my daughter and I'll be sad when she leaves for school in September.

My son is very happy at busy bees. As a parent I feel listened too and included in the care of my child on the days he is there. The staff are attentive and have formed a lovely relationship with my son too. I think that the rooms themselves are set out very well and fit for purpose. I would sometimes
like to know more about the structure of the day / what the class is learning or working on specifically. I would highly recommend the nursery.

Very happy I selected Busy Bees Rushmere for my daughter!
The staff are so lovely, they are always so welcoming and polite. My daughter loves going in and has a great bond with the ladies in her room. They do lots of an activities and play also love receiving the updates on the app!

My child has attended here for 6 months and absolutely loves it! The staff are great at updating us during the day and help my child with their milestones. My child also has allergies and I have no concerns with the staff not being able to adhere to them.

Love the attention to detail and care this nursery have offered my little boy since starting. They are always well staffed with lots of opportunities to help my child develop and grow and have lots of great ways of including families in the nursery experience, such as the app to keep us up to date throughout
the day and encouraging us to sending memories over which are used to help theme activities.
My little one has come on leaps and bounds since starting with Busy Bees and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to send their little one.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, always makes my daughter feel welcome and makes the hand over process very easy for her. All the staff do an excellent job of building a relationship with her. My son has been attending Busy Bees since Sept 2024 and we have had a great experience with the nursery. My son has always struggled with drop offs this can sometimes be quite challenging, but the staff have been so helpful at settling him and giving him comfort and attention for him to feel safe and
supported. He hardly ever wants to come home by the time I collect him, and I believe that's due to the amount of fun he is having with his friends, and the professionalism and kindness of the staff in his room. The room leader and my little boy's key person is very good at communicating updates with me, and takes any concerns I have seriously. The other staff in the room have good bonds with my son and he knows all of their names, often speaking about them at home. They have supported with his potty training progress and he has been given the best encouragement to make new friends. I am very impressed with the nursery so far, and thank them for the care they are giving to my little boy.

My daughter absolutely loves busy bees Rushmere. She attends the afternoon sessions and looks forward to it all morning
She gets lots of stimulations, attention and great care whilst at Busy Bees. This has really helped her confidence and social skills. My daughter knows the names of all of the staff
and talks about them at home; which shows how settled she is.

Drop offs at nursery are a challenge, my son has never been happy to be left at nursery in the mornings but the staff in his room are absolutely excellent at taking him and distracting him so that I can leave. Then at pick up time he never wants to leave!! This is testament to the excellent staff in
his room and the fun activities they plan each day.
My only slightly negative point is that I would like to see the chalk board back showing the daily menu. I know the food is good and have no concerns, but it would just be nice to know what they've had.

Both my children have been with Busy Bees from 9 months. My oldest is now in Year 1 and she still has fond memories of being here. My son absolutely loves it here. One thing I'll always be grateful for is the how they helped us with potty training my son. I was a bit apprehensive but they reassured
me and gave me confidence, and now my son can confidently use the toilet, with the odd accident of course. They did me good with this. In instances where we are not sure of invoicing or any related issues they are quick to respond and will explain patiently.

I have been working in childcare for over 35 years and have been a manager for nearly 30 years.
