Overall Experience
Our son started nursery at 9mo when I returned to work. The team are absolutely wonderful, and he loves being there. They are all so kind and thoughtful and we feel lucky that we have a great nursery nearby.
He seems to eat well and we really enjoy the daily updates and photos.
Being in central London there isn't loads of outdoor space, but they do a good job of taking the children outside as much as possible so they get fresh air.

We also qualify for the 30 free hours which the nursery accept, so it works well for us.

Overall Experience
When we were viewing nurseries for our daughter, Bright Horizons stood out to us because of the homely feel of the space and the warm friendly nature of the staff.
Our daughter has been at the nursery for almost a year now and she is very happy there. The communication with the staff has always been excellent and the nursery were very flexible at the beginning when my daughter was settling in. My daughter regularly talks about her key workers at home, which shows that she has developed a lovely bond with them.

Overall, our experience with the nursery has been great and I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Chingford to any prospective parents.

My son has been at Bright Horizons since he was 8 months old, he's now 3 years and 7 months, and the level of care and attention he has received from day one has been outstanding. Overall Experience

I have had my baby in the babycare room for the past 5 months. We love this nursary and specifically the baby room team which has our keyworkers Manisha and Hannah. She had a really good settling in schedule, the workers were very attentive towards her including the temp staff. She has really enjoyed the outdoor space and learning with other babies and continues to explore as she is moving over to toddler space. I find the mangement very helpful and always available. Wish we could continue our journey with the same staff.

This nursery is such a special place. My two daughters have attended here and my youngest is currently in preschool. The staff and nursery leaders feel like extended family and have created a nurturing, fun and caring environment for all children. They value diversity, support those that need extra help and stretch the children to develop and grow. My daughters have had loads of new, exciting and fun experiences here. I can't recommend the nursery enough!

Overall Experience
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Bright Horizons Carshalton Nursery. The team in both the baby and toddler rooms are absolutely amazing - so caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development and happiness. From day one, they made us feel completely at ease.
The settling-in sessions were incredibly well thought out and supportive, making the transition into nursery life smooth not only for our daughter but for us as parents too. Moving between rooms has also been completely seamless, with excellent communication and preparation throughout, which really helped our daughter settle confidently into each new stage.
The management team also deserves huge praise - they are incredibly organised, professional, approachable, and always on top of everything. The nursery has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it's clear that everyone works together to create the best possible environment for the children.

We're truly grateful to have our daughter here.

Overall Experience
We've been with the nursery for six months now. Our little one started in the Baby Room in December 2025 and has now moved to the Toddlers Room - the transition has been seamless.
The care here is outstanding. We were particularly impressed with the encouragement she received in the Baby Room to get her walking started. They were also brilliant at helping her settle for naps, ensuring she got all the rest she needed during the day.
Currently, we are in love with our key person in the Toddlers Room. She has formed a wonderful bond with our daughter, she gets super happy when the key person is around and, clearly, they have lots of fun together.
Drop of and picks ups are smooth.
The entire teaching team is fantastic - warm, patient, and dedicated. We love how they thoughtfully encourage independence at every stage.

Management and staff communication is excellent; they are always responsive and efficient. Plus, receiving regular photo/message updates through the app is great.

I am so happy that my daughter comes to this nursery every day. The staff are lovely and always smiling. They are very caring and affectionate with my daughter, and seeing her so happy allows me to continue my day feeling calm and reassured, knowing she is in good hands.
When I pick her up, she is always happy and playing. They also send lots of photos through the app and do so many activities with the children!

My child has attended this nursery for two years and has received the most amazing care. He loves going to school and seeing his teachers and friends. The school takes the kids to the park, exposes them to different sports during their play time, gives the kids French and Spanish lessons each week, do yoga classes each week, give different reading books for home reading each week and get to use the larger outside area of the primary school next door during school term breaks. The nursery has outstanding staff who have worked there for a long time across the baby, toddler and pre school rooms, with staff often looking after siblings as they come through the nursery and get to know families very well.

As a first time mum, I was dreading leaving my son in a setting that wasn't just unfamiliar to him but myself aswell. I did a huge amount of research and went to several viewings of different nurseries but nothing compared to this one and I just had a great feeling about it when I viewed it twice. My son is now one and a half and has been at this nursery since he was 9 months old and he couldn't be happier. I can't thank the staff enough for being so friendly, patient and for helping my son develop and achieve major milestones. I 100% recommend them.

Overall happy with the nursery, the team working with preschool is great.
I feel they are attentive, easy going, try to build good relationships with the kids.
I also like the fact that you can chat to the staff via the app and get prompt replies. Admins are brilliant too.

Something that probably can be improved is the feedback when you pick up your kid after 6 pm. Often the staff providing updates haven't worked in your kid's room hence may have limited knowledge of what happened during the day. I think it has been better recently but had occasions before when the staff could not answer some questions.
