Bright Horizons Hyde Park is a beautiful nursery and preschool, conveniently located near St James Church, where the staff are dedicated to providing loving care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Within their three thoughtfully designed rooms, bathed in natural light, children have access to diverse areas that ignite their imagination, stimulate creativity, and foster independence. So glad that we found this nursery right next to Hyde Park and 15 minutes walk from the house.
The team are absolutely amazing, super understanding and our child absolutely loves it here.
Cannot recommend them highly enough and just feels great to be able to leave him with people who you genuinely
trust.

Our daughter graduated from Bright Horizons Hyde Park Day Nursery and Preschool in August 2023 and we're now back with our son, who joined baby room in April 2024.
This nursery has been a massively important place for us for the last four years. It's great to see it shine again and see how it has overcome
the little crisis they went through in the second half of last year. Everyone that works here is always with a smile and children love coming. Our 10-month-old son smiles or moves his feet as soon as he sees some of the familiar faces.
Every day when we come to Bright Horizons, we feel it's a kind of extension of our home. We know we're leaving our little one in really good hands, that they are stimulating him and mainly, caring massively about him.
We loved this place while our daughter was here. We're massively enjoying it now too!

Great staff and facilities in the baby room and loads of fun activities during the day. We are really happy with the nursery. Our baby settled in quickly and is clearly happy with the nursery and all the staff.

My daughter has been going here since March 2022 and we have had a great experience, especially since September 2023. The nursery does an excellent job in understanding the kids, and their interests and putting together really engaging activities. There would be a theme every week like solar systems,
caterpillars, community helpers, etc. and the kids do a whole range of activities learning about them. Also, the staff is from diverse backgrounds so my daughter gets to speak our native language in the nursery. The carers have a very good connection with the kids e.g., my daughter refused to be potty-trained at home so the nursery carers took the lead and potty-trained her. Owing to the city centre location, the open area isn't huge so the nursery takes them out to the park on occasion.

My daughter has attended this nursery since December 2022 and her development has progressed so much in that time. The staff are all brilliant and her key worker in particular shows such an interest in her development and focusses on her particular interests. She loves going to nursery and has made

My daughter attended this nursery when she was 9 months, she is progressing very well at the nursery now in preschool. She is learning a lot and is very happy there the staff support her very well. She likes going to nursery to see her friends. The nursery does lots of events for the children and parents
to be involved. I’m very happy with everything.

We have had the most incredible experience at the Bright Horizons Hyde Park nursery baby room. The staff are amazing with our little boy and he loves all the activities they have on the go. The food is such a variety and of such good quality, they eat like kings! We are so happy with our choice!

My daughter attended this nursery. First in the toddler room, and then at the pre-school. I cannot overstate how happy I am with the nursery and the lead manager, in particular. She and other teachers, one in particular, did an outstanding job in taking care of my daughter and guiding her through critical
points in her life. It always felt safe to leave my daughter at the nursery and there were no negative incidents during the years that she was there. The way that they encouraged her to learn how to spell (her name) and paint ever so often was heartwarming. For as long as the manager remains at the helm, I will recommend this school to any parent, without hesitation.

The nursery staff are super friendly, especially the manager and one member of staff in particular who have been making the place like a family for all the kids! I sent my daughter to the nursery since she was 7 months old and she enjoyed every day of her stay there. There are a lot of different activities
like painting, playing with sand/playdough/water and more! We also got photo and app updates on her daily activities.
I highly recommend the daycare!

My daughter attended Bright Horizons Hyde Park from Nov 20 - May 21 in the Baby Room and then May 21 - Sep 21 in the Toddler room. She attended 5 full days a week. The only reason she is no longer there is due to us relocating back to Australia. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.
The staff were kind, caring and it was obvious by the way my daughter happily went off to Nursery every day that she was happy and comfortable in the environment. As a parent, I always felt well informed and up to date with how she was going.

Bright Horizons Hyde Park is a wonderful nursery! Our daughter started after being at home for 7 months during the pandemic. She was not used to being with other children and was a little nervous to leave me, however after only a couple of days of settling in, she felt at home. She made great friends
very quickly and I saw her develop (alphabet, numbers, drawing) only a short while after starting there. The nursery manager is outstanding and her team of staff work wonders. Highly recommend!

My little boy has been at the nursery in the baby room for almost 4 months now. He has just turned 1. I cannot fault the staff here, my boy is absolutely in love with all of them and lights up every time he gets dropped off.
Since his settling in sessions, they have made me feel so secure and put all
of my worries at ease. I am constantly updated on his progress and what he gets up to in the day! Loads of pictures of messy play and constantly keeping him active. They are really flexible with dietary requirements and are always on hand to make things work for you and your family. We had a few issues with napping but they were so willing to help my son overcome this they went above and beyond!
The only negative is that my son seems to get upset when I pick him up as he doesn’t want to leave!

Our son has been attending the nursery for nearly 5 months and we could not be happier with the level of care he receives. We had a number of settling in sessions which helped both of us (mainly me!) feel happy that we had chosen the right nursery for our family. All his needs are met - lots of interaction,
stimulating activities and plenty of space to crawl around and explore in the baby room and also, importantly for us he is safe. He adores his key worker and the manager of the nursery who both give him such wonderful care and attention that he doesn't look back when we drop him off. The team at the nursery are just amazing and I could not praise them enough for supporting us through all the milestones that come with having a baby.

I sent my first daughter to Bright Horizons and she was very happy. So I have now sent my second daughter and she also loves it. It has gone from strength to strength and I believe the nursery manager has played a huge part in this. The staff and nursery teachers are all so lovely and my daughter is
so fond of the teachers that she talks about them all most evenings. So many of the faces are the same as when my first daughter went there, which I always think is a great indication of morale and teamwork. At all times the management and staff are so helpful and accommodating. The meals are excellent and food is very important to my daughter, when I hear about the meals they have, I am most impressed with the variety and high standards. They have introduced some lovely new schemes, like loaning books out every week. These books are an excellent idea and have made our family story-time even better. It is a really great nursery and I am very happy that I sent my daughter there.

Our son has attended the nursery for the last six months and we are very happy with the quality of service and the level of care offered by the manager and her whole team. There are a lot of different activities for young babies, there is a high ratio of Care person per child. Our baby son is very happy
over there and always smile and is in good mood before and after a day at the nursery, we can feel he enjoys his stay over there. The Team and the different caregivers are very focused on ensuring the children are happy and well taken care of, and a great manager for the place who also loves spending time with the little ones. The team is flexible and if we have a last minute arrangement or change of plans, they always manage to accommodate. Our son has done tremendous progress in the last six months and this has helped him to play with other babies and socialize, and also focus more on specific activity than before. We are overall very happy with Bright Horizons Hyde Park.

My child really enjoyed her time in the nursery. The great thing about Hyd Park Nursery is that the food is really healthy and freshly cooked for them every day. Kelly has worked in early years education for 25 years, including 15 years as a nursery manager. She holds an NNEB diploma, a BA in Early Years, and a Level 3 award as an Early Years SEN Coordinator.


With a wealth of invaluable experience, Lorraine is committed to continuously developing her own knowledge while supporting her team to grow in their careers.


She finds the most rewarding part of her role to be contributing to each child’s unique journey and collaborating with parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a safe, friendly, and happy environment.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Erin is excited to be the new Deputy Manager at Hyde Park! She has over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including children’s hospices, nurseries, schools, cruise ships, and as a private nanny.


She joined Bright Horizons in 2023 and quickly fell in love with the team and the children. Erin worked her way up from lunch cover to Room Leader of the baby room and in 2024 was proudly promoted to Third in Charge.


Erin absolutely loves creating warm, nurturing, and safe spaces where all children can feel secure and confident to explore. There’s nothing better than watching children grow, learn, and shine in their own unique ways.


She is also really passionate about building strong relationships with families and is dedicated to getting to know each child and their parents. Making sure their journey with us is filled with trust, joy, and support from the very beginning.
