My daughter joined the nursery in January after a few great weeks of settling-in sessions. The team in Baby Room 2 instantly put me at ease and made both my daughter and me feel comfortable from the very beginning.
Her transition to nursery has been much easier than I ever expected. In such a short
space of time, she has built strong relationships with her key staff members and absolutely loves her time there.
Since starting nursery, her confidence has grown massively and she is much happier in group settings.
The meals provided are great and are always enjoyed by my daughter, which has helped her experience and try a wider range of foods.
A special mention to the Baby Room 2 team and Megan from management, who is always on hand to help and support.

My experience in the nursery has been great. All 3 of my children attended the nursery and loved it there.
I love that there is ample outdoor and free flow areas where the children play.
The staff are friendly and approachable.
If there is an issue, the staff and key person of the child are available
to deal with the query.

We moved our Son from another nursery to kings hill bright horizons due to moving house. Abel has settled in so well here and the ladies in his nursery room to the ladies in the office have been amazing! They have his needs and best interests at heart! Always kept up to date with everything from events
to Abel's day to day activities! Couldn't be happier to have our boy here and soon to be brother attending too.

Amazing staff who care for our kids. Very flexible and very good communication. Really good for additional nursery days and keeping me updated on how my baby is doing throughout with photos, videos, daily updates and development achievements. There's always something special going on and opportunities
for parents to stay and play. Lots of fun!

My son has been coming since he was 1 and is now 2 and a half. We are really happy with how he's settled and how well he is looked after.
All the staff are lovely. He can get a little upset at drop off when I leave, but I've been told he settles quickly with his keyworkers and the other staff, which
is really reassuring. The keyworkers in both rooms have been great, and management are always welcoming and helpful. They are also also very mindful with allergies & intolerances.
It's so nice to see his confidence growing, hearing him talk about what he has been up to at nursery, & looking at the pictures that have been uploaded,
We are really grateful for the care he receives and We would definitely recommend the nursery to others

We are so happy with the level of care our little boy has received during his time in the baby room and more recently as he has transitioned to the toddler room.
All the staff are always so happy, friendly and genuinely care about our little ones, understanding their likes, dislikes and celebrating
every development milestone.

We couldn't be happier with the care our son receives at this nursery. From the moment he started, the team have made him feel safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. The staff are warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do, and it's evident that every child is known as an individual.
We've
been really impressed by the range of activities on offer, which are both engaging and thoughtfully planned to support development and learning through play. He comes home each day excited to share with us what he has done that day and what he has eaten - the menu on offer is varied and has encouraged him to try new foods.
Communication has also been excellent - we're always kept informed about his day, and progress, which gives us peace of mind.
Most importantly, our son is happy and confident there, and he looks forward to going. It's reassuring to know he's in such a nurturing, supportive environment, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to other families.

The staff are incredible at Bright
horizons. From the moment my son started almost a year ago they have been nothing but caring, understanding, patient and supportive. My son had been solely at home with me for 2 years so going to nursery was a massive step for him and was a difficult challenge for
him, myself and the staff. However we all persevered and watching him now settled, growing and thriving and so happy when he is there it's purely down to all the staff and their hard work and dedication. Many nurseries would have said it wasn't the right fit but they never let us down or gave up. They check in with me as my little one has appointments for certain things and are always encouraging and wanting to know if there is anything more they can do. I cannot fault this nursery at all. They have been accommodating and ensured my son settled well when he joined at 9 months. The staff in the baby room are extremely kind and caring. They provide healthy, nutritional food and plenty of it! I receive constant updates about my son's basic needs being
met as well as pictures of the activities he is experiencing. He is now very settled and happy at this nursery and I would recommend it to anyone!

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was one years old and seeing how she has grown in confidence and developed has been outstanding. I receive regular updates on her progress and what she's learnt that day. The curriculum also has a focus on life skills and environmental impact which is

In July 2025, our family went through an incredibly difficult time following a bereavement. Throughout this period, Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge went above and beyond to support us. They ensured that my children still had a normal, fun, and happy summer.


Stacey was exceptionally supportive,

offering understanding and reassurance when we needed it most. The staff were also wonderfully kind and attentive, especially towards my son who was new to the nursery. Their patience, warmth, and genuine care made a truly horrible situation bearable.


Since my daughter started attending, she has developed exceptionally well, meeting all her milestones and even surpassing some. It's clear that the nurturing environment and dedicated staff have played a big part in her progress.


I am deeply grateful to everyone at Bright Horizons Springfield lodge.

Before choosing a nursery for our daughter we toured 6 other places as the advice from friends with older children was, 'you'll know the right one when you're on the tour'.
Whilst we were taken around for our tour at Wilmington Day Nursery, our daughter went to join in the play time activity with
her prospective class. Watching her interact, though shy but with curiosity, and how the teachers responded, cheerful and encouraging towards her, it didn't feel like it was an act for the tour and my husband and I knew then that this was the right one for her!


We're so happy that we made this choice as she absolutely loves coming to Wilmington Day Nursery and she loves the friends that shes made. The staff are great with communication and work hard to foster trust knowing you're entrusting the care of the most precious person in your life, to them. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Wilmington is such a great nursery, our little girl has learnt so much since she has started. The team are incredible at looking after her making sure there are fun and different things to do every day.


My son also went to this nursery and he has extra needs and the nursery were absolutely incredible

with him too!

Our daughter moved to Bright Horizons Wilmington from a different nursery after not being happy with the care provided in her old nursery. The staff at Bright Horizons Wilmington reassured me and made me feel comfortable from the first time I stepped foot in the nursery to look around. They care so
much about each and every child and do everything they can to ensure they have fun, learn and flourish. My daughter loves her nursery days and all the staff. I couldn't be happier about the care she receives. It's a win win all around. I cannot recommend this nursery enough to all parents and so thankful to all the staff.

We are so happy here at Bright Horizons. My little girl has learnt so much and comes home every day smiling and telling me about her day. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for the amazing messy play activities you do and time you take at the end of the day to tell me how my little one has got on.
Personally I love the size of the nursery as it gives a school feel which I believe has been beneficial to my daughter in prep for pre-school/school. The new refurbishments are great, it feels like a brand new nursery. I would 100% recommend you to friends and family. Thank you!

My daughter started in this nursery a few months ago, and it's evident how well she's settled in. She has built and continues to build positive relationships with staff in her room and is clearly thriving.


Only improvement would be better communication when there are changes with staff or new staff

in the room. As a parent that would help a lot, as we also build relationships with those who are there. Even if their temps it'd be good to know.


Overall, happy as my daughter is very happy, management are easy to access and talk too as well!

My daughter started at this nursery in April 2025 at two years old. She is non-verbal and I was extremely worried about her development at the time. Since joining Bright Horizons, her development has come along significantly, and she is babbling away, which makes me hopeful she will soon start talking.
Every week she is doing something new and I am fumbling for my phone to record it! The nursery also helped me to complete a referral for speech therapy and worked with me to set targets for my daughter. As a mum with no friends or family nearby, and who was met with unhelpful health visitors, the support is very much appreciated. Like a lot of parents, it was very hard for me to leave my daughter in someone else's hands, especially as someone who has anxiety. However, the ladies at this nursery are outstanding, and truly care for our littles. My daughter grabs her shoes and bag, and heads for the door each morning, evidencing the brilliant care she receives.
