Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool is located in Surbiton, Surrey, in the UK. The nursery provides care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years old, and is open from 7:00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Located just a 10-minute walk from Surbiton rail station and with ample parking, the nursery is ideal for parents who commute each day.

The nursery offers a range of programs, including baby and toddler care, preschool education, and after-school care. The facility has a dedicated baby room, toddler room, and preschool room, as well as a large outdoor play area for children to explore.

The nursery is set in a spacious, converted Victorian detached house in the residential area of Surbiton, within the catchment of schools in Surbiton and Tolworth areas. The stunning rooms are full of age-specific, specialist wooden furniture and resources. The staff are friendly, experienced and highly qualified and are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.

Bright Horizons uses a EYFS framework to promote and support education, care and development. The nursery is well equipped with a touch screen computer in their pre-school room, which helps children to prepare for school using their chosen literacy and numeracy programs. They run growing enhancement programs as part of their nursery day which includes growing readers, writers and mathematicians.

The nursery's adventure garden has its own Hobbit House, stage area, nature garden and wobbly road track all set within separate age-appropriate areas, with a separate garden for babies and toddlers.

I chose surbiton bright horizons specifically for its reputation and the team have not disappointed. Always friendly, with a way with children that ensures I leave my little one happy and in good care. They managed to get 8 month old eating more solid foods in the space of a week and babbling way more
than he was! I cannot recommend enough!

Our daughter has thrived at this nursery and absolutely loves her time in the baby room. The staff are wonderful - warm, caring, and full of engaging activities that she really enjoys. She's grown in confidence, is always happy and comfortable there, and it's clear she's bonded strongly with the team.
The nursery has a lovely outdoor space and a really positive, thriving atmosphere. We couldn't be happier.

Our son started at Bright Horizons when he was just under a year and is now 16months. From the very beginning, our experience has been wonderful from all the practitioners and support staff at the nursery. The team in the Baby Room have been great with our Son and we've seen him come on leaps and bounds,
picking up new skills and having loads of fun. We've found the app really useful being able to see what fun activities he gets up to and the staff are excellent at keeping us posted! Highly recommend!

My son joined the babies room at Bright horizons Upper Brighton Road when he was 10 months old. I was very nervous and upset about leaving him to return to work, but the staff made sure this was as comfortable experience it could be for both me and my little one. In the first settling session, I observed
how the other babies seemed, and they were all so happy and well cared for. The staff are extremely attentive and understand that babies need lots of nurturing and care. I had tours of multiple nurseries and even did a settling session at another, but my gut feeling was instant at Bright horizons UBR. My son is now 1 and even smiles and waves goodbye to me when I drop him off. The staff are always so happy, friendly and accommodating. I also love the updates and photos that come through on the app. 1000% recommend this nursery!!

Our son has been attending since December. First in the Baby Room & now in Toddlers. Having visited a number of other local nurseries and reserved places at two, we eventually chose this nursery because of the large outdoor garden & the fact many of the staff have long tenures (i.e. stability for our
little one).
I'm so glad we chose Bright Horizons! Having been there for some months, we have been blown away by the care and professionalism of everyone who works there. The management team are so friendly and very responsive to anything you raise or need support with as a parent, the baby and toddler rooms are incredibly nurturing, safe and creative - and the food made by the resident chef is great quality. Our son has come on leaps and bounds!
The garden is amazing - no pollution, safe & lots of fun. Totally recommend the nursery and all of the team here. It has a great local reputation - deservedly so.

We love this nursery. We fell in love with it when we saw the beautiful building with amazing outdoor space. We then were amazed by the team! As a first time mummy its daunting leaving your baby with a bunch of strangers! Trust me!
They are caring, understanding, patient and just amazing!
We were
so lucky as he was with them since 6months and they are all he's ever known. He is happy to see the team when he arrives in the morning and sad when he leaves! Which just shows how much he loves the nursery and the people that work there. They teach him so much! Much more than I could ever do on my own at home with him. And all the social skills he is learning i can clearly see!
I can't name everyone because they all are amazing! Thank you for looking after our little one! You are the most amazing team!
Finance and administration are not very good or helpful! But thats not a reflection on the team or service of the people who look after your kids!

Our 3 year old has been going to the nursery since he was 1. The team has been fantastic and we feel very comfortable with them looking after him. Our 9 year old also went there and the service is even better now. It's great to see that the management team has come through the ranks at the nursery.

Our son started at Bright Horizons when he was 12 months old and is now two and a half. From the very beginning, our experience has been wonderful. The team in the Baby Room was so warm and reassuring, which meant the world to us as nervous first-time parents. Our son quickly bonded with them, and we
always felt confident that he was in great hands.
Now in the Toddler Room, his development has been incredible, and that is truly thanks to the dedicated and caring staff. One member of staff, in particular, and the team create such a nurturing environment, filled with engaging and creative activities that have helped him grow in so many ways. The consistency of the team has been especially important to us, and their kindness and commitment make all the difference.
We are so grateful to Bright Horizons for the love and care they show our son every day!

We are very happy with the care provided to our three year old son at the nursery, who has attended for the past two years now. The staff are delightful and very caring, and put a lot of effort into looking after the children well. The garden is a lovely large space, away from the heavy traffic of Ewell
Road at the bottom of the hill. The nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year, from 7am to 6.30pm, which is extremely helpful to the working parent. It is a very dependable place. I would say it is good value for money, compared to hiring a nanny, for example. The cost of childcare has of course increased everywhere. There are various government funding schemes that help, however, that apply to this nursery. My son seems to like the food served, and eats well, although I am unable to rate it as I've never seen it myself. We are kept informed of activities, and sent updates about our son, via the Bright Horizons app. It is well-run, with responsive, reliable managing staff in charge.

Our daughter started just after her first birthday and is going into her final few months of pre-school before starting school. We'll really miss the nursery when she does - throughout her time there everyone has been so welcoming and genuinely invested in her experience and wellbeing. She has made
great connections with the staff and they have all taken the time to really get to know her, nurture her interests and encourage her development. The team has involved us at every stage, been really accommodating and are already helping her to prepare for school. Our daughter has been at the nursery for a year and a half, and we've been very pleased with the staff and range of age appropriate activities to date. The team are nurturing and mindful of each of their needs, always offering a cuddle at drop off. The outside space is great and they get the kids out
at every opportunity to play or learn about environment (she's in the toddler room and last week they did some gardening and made a bird box). Would recommend to anyone looking for a suitable nursery.

My daughter started at Bright Horizons a few months ago and found it hard to settle in at first, but the staff were so supportive and caring for her that she is now excited to go to nursery every morning. The staff arrange lots of fun activities for the children, they regularly go outside to the garden
which is brilliant with lots of toys and space to explore and climb. The food is great and my daughter loves it.
My daughter has a few food allergies but I am assured and confident that she is well looked after and they cater for everything that she needs.
The staff communicate well and the app is really useful to see what my daughter has been doing.

We have just recently started our little boy in the toddler room and could not be any happier with the time, care and support given to both toddler and mother during the settling in process! The staff have kept us updated with notes and pictures letting us know how our little one is getting on. We were
offered extra settling in sessions and a booklet of staff photos for our little one to have at home to ease the process. The facilities and activities are fantastic and I am one very happy mum knowing my little boy is so well looked after and having the best time whilst at nursery.

Both our daughters have attended the nursery and absolutely love it. The staff in every room are caring, nurturing and so much fun. From baby room to pre-school they take so much time to make sure the children are settled and happy - the garden is excellent and the staff always work hard to bring creativity
and games into the day. We really recommend and feel very lucky to have found such a great place to look after the children when they are small.

When we moved to Surbiton last year, my 2.5-year-old started and we love it so much that my baby started this year. We are so happy with the staff - they are very caring, nurturing and fun. The staffing team at Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool are fantastic. Every day they are welcoming, knowledgeable about my child's needs and curious about ways to help her develop. The range of activities they put on and the experiences they offer the young people in their care are

Our son has been attending Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool for just over a year, starting in the Baby Class, progressing to Toddler Class and now in the Nursery Class. He's very settled and happy, which speaks to the great care he receives. The staff are professional, caring and attentive,
providing daily updates and regular progress reports via the app.
The facilities are excellent, with a spacious dual-level garden and a welcoming indoor area. We've seen great improvements in his social and educational development. The staff encourage learning through play and support his language skills which has helped him pick up new words and build confidence.
Overall, we're extremely happy with the care and support at Bright Horizons. It's been a wonderful experience for our son and we're grateful for the positive impact it's had on his development.

My daughter had a bit of a rocky start to life, due to acute reflux (she had several choking incidents) and my own poor health which meant she barely left the house in the first year of her life. She also had food aversions due to reflux and wouldn't tolerate anything except soup and had terrible separation
anxiety.
We were very hesitant about putting her in a nursery but chose Upper Brighton Road because I was immediately impressed by the staff on our first visit. Her key worker has gone above and beyond. She built trust with our daughter over the months so that she no longer cries at drop off and within a few months, my daughter is now eating a wide variety of textures and new tastes. I honestly never could have believed we would have such a big improvement which is a testament to her key worker's investment in helping my daughter overcome her early challenges. They also work with outside teams like her speech and language therapist to ensure everyone is on the same page. Cannot praise enough.

Krissa has worked in childcare for the past 14 years with 7 of them working for Bright Horizons Surbiton. She started off working as a qualified member of the Toddler room and worked her way up to the Management Team.
