  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.4 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 12 months.

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating of all Reviews over all time. For each review the Day Nursery / service is rated Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Poor or Very Poor on a number of areas eg Staff, Management etc. The Day Nursery receives points for each rating as follows: Excellent = 5. Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.

    The Average Rating of 4.567 for Bright Horizons Regents Park Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (36 Excellents x 5) + (22 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.567

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 12 months. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with 'Extremely Likely' or 'Likely' in answer to the question 'How likely are you to recommend this Day Nursery to friends and family?'

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    2. 1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.

    3. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.

The 3.383 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons Regents Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 12 months and is calculated as follows:

    1. 3 + 0.25 = 3.25

    2. Target of 15 positive Reviews (75 registered maximum number of service users ÷ 5). 2 Reviews ÷ 15 Target = 0.133

I have two toddlers at Regents Park nursery and they're developing and growing happily.

The staff is very professional, kind and loving to the children.

They eat a varied diet and encourage my children to try a wider choice of food.

I highly recommend this nursery.

I am very pleased with Bright Horizons and all members of staff in their Regents Park nursery and pre-school.
My daughter is quite shy when going to new or unfamiliar places but within 2 weeks she was more than happy for us to drop her off.
We can see nearly every day she is developing more and we could not be happier.

My daughter attended regents park nursery from 5 months of age until she was almost 3. This is a lovely place where everyone knows each child and where their individual needs and preferences are considered. The staff are fantastic and this includes the manager and her deputy, who set a fantastic example for the rest of the team. One of the things I really liked is how proactive the staff is in engaging with parents during pick-ups to tell them about the child's day. It was only when we moved to a different area and had to switch nurseries that I realised how this level of engagement is not easy to find. Good outdoor playing area and kids also go to regents park playground and zoo quite often. My daughter absolutely loved going there!

The Regent's Park Bright Horizon Nursery is a lovely place to leave your child. Mine has been there since he was 5 and a half months and I was always reassured about the care that was given to him. He learns so much there and makes a lot of progress. There is some nice outdoor space within the nursery but the children also often go to Regent's Park the weather permitting and to the Zoo when they're lucky.

Our daughter has attended Bright Horizons Regents Park from 18 months and I can highly recommend the nursery. The head and deputy head are engaging and supportive. They know the children individually and are engaged in supporting us as a family not just providing hours of care. The carers are lovely, with a nice mix of ages and backgrounds including a number of male carers. They all make the atmosphere positive and welcoming. The children and parents are equally friendly and from many backgrounds and countries. Having said that, the nursery is rooted in a British ethos including things like a Christmas Carol concert performed by the children. We have been absolutely delighted with the quality of care, our daughter really enjoys her time at nursery. There are great activities, from yoga to arts and crafts, learning about letters and number, trips to the zoo and park across the road. I would highly recommend this nursery!
