Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields Day Nursery and Preschool

My grandson has been attending the nursery for three years and has blossomed into a happy and confident little boy. We are extremely happy with the way he has been nurtured and encouraged, the staff are extremely understanding, patient and very competent. The management and staff are excellent, the activities are well planned and our grandson is learning important skills in a caring environment. A bonus for us is that he is eating a wider range of food, an important part of the day. The outside play area was one of the factors that influenced our choice of nursery, the children clearly enjoy this very much. We highly recommend this nursery.

We absolutely love the nursery and are so glad we chose it for our little girl. They went above and beyond to get her settled and she has formed such great bonds with her key workers, which has really helped her feel at home. They know the children really well and always have fun and interesting activities to engage them in. I can't say enough how wonderful all the staff are. I would really recommend this nursery to other parents.

We are incredibly happy with our experience at the nursery. The staff are all friendly and warm, and are caring and attentive with the children. The nursery's manager and deputy manager go out of their way to learn the parent's names and make an effort to get to know all the children and parents. The setting is also perfect - it is tucked away from busy roads/quiet, and the outdoor space for the children is fantastic. Our daughter spends most of her day outdoors, weather permitting, which she loves. We receive regular observations/progress reports on our daughter, as well as daily pictures/updates in the app. The staff are also prompt in their replies when we message in the app. We also receive a weekly activity plan for the room, with a theme for every week (one week was "On the Farm" where the children focused on learning animal sounds, creating artwork that was farm-themed, etc.) Overall we are very happy with the nursery!

This was the third nursery we visited and straight away knew it was the right choice for our son, who started here in the baby room at 13 months. It's spacious, light and very green, bringing a totally different atmosphere and energy to some of the other nurseries in the area.

The staff are lovely, so attentive and very welcoming, making it a place we feel happy to drop him off at, leaving us reassured he's in good hands for the day ahead. It's great to see photos and updates on the app about his day and the activities he's been doing. After only a few months, we are already seeing a huge improvement in our son's confidence and development. He would often cry around other adults and toddlers, now he reaches out for everyone! Very happy with everything about this nursery so far and we're looking forward to him continuing his journey here.

We are so happy with our experience at the nursery! The staff are all wonderful - very welcoming, kind, attentive to the kids needs, even the staff that aren't in our son's room all know him by name. Our son loves going to the nursery and I'm always impressed by how creative all their daily activities are. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful staff and great teamwork in the baby room. We truly appreciate our key person's care and attention. We're also very happy for the way the manager communicates with parents. She is approachable, responsive, and genuinely interested in each child's wellbeing. It's very reassuring to know that we're always kept in the loop and that any concerns or questions are addressed promptly and kindly.

Big shout out to the chef, whatever magic he cooks with has our son eating all sorts of nutritious food (which we have no chance of getting in him at home!).

Our son attended the nursery from 10 months old to 2 years, 5 months. While some of the staff were exceptional, we are deeply concerned about the poor management and mishandling of a serious accident.

In September 2024, our 2-year-old fractured his right femur while in their care. No one witnessed the incident, and a staff member dangerously repositioned his leg. No ambulance was called, and the initial (incorrect) diagnosis was a knee injury. The Manager arranged an Uber, but no one accompanied us to the car. The lack of responsibility and compassion was shocking. We were told we'd be contacted when investigation results were ready. Six months later, after we contacted them again, the Manager said the results, apparently available since December, were "inconclusive." Despite our repeated requests, we still haven't received these reports.

A child broke a femur while in the nursery's care. The response was inadequate, raising serious concerns about the safety of other children.

I'm so grateful to the entire team at Crouch End Day Fields for creating such a positive and nurturing environment. It's clear that they truly care about every child, and I couldn't be happier with our experience.

Our daughter seems very happy and attached to the staff and now to the other children too! The facilities are really good and it's all quite open plan with lots of windows. At pick up you can see how happy the children are which feels really reassuring when you are anxious about leaving them. The staff are all lovely, they know the children really well and have a really caring attitude. The communication with their parents is good too.

My daughter has settled well and really enjoys going to the nursery. She has developed good relationships with the staff, who always seem extremely caring towards her. I enjoy receiving the reports telling about all the lovely activities they have each day.

We have recently settled our daughter into Crouch End Fields and I could not be happier with the quality of the care provided to date. Our daughter (aged 22 months) had never been in a nursery setting before and the staff were extremely reassuring to both us and our daughter. The staff clearly go above and beyond by remembering certain quirks for each child and the outdoor space is wonderful. The management team are extremely accommodating and prompt at replying to queries. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Running out of space, but can't recommend this nursery enough!

My son has been attending Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields for almost 3 years. We absolutely love the nursery. The staff are so kind, nurturing and supportive. The children enjoy engaging activities throughout the day and I love the daily app updates on what the children have been doing. The children spend lots of time outside and are spoilt with good sized enclosed outdoor play areas and the cricket pitch next to the nursery.

Wonderful environment for our child to learn and grow. Individual learning plans focussed on advancing child at own pace. Unbeatable setting in the cricket club and grounds. Very good safe guarding environment. Staff are part of our family and care deeply for each child. Very well run by leadership on site.

The team at Bright Horizons went above and beyond to help our little girl settle in. Now our daughter looks forward to playing with her key worker every day. I'm so pleased with how the nursery cares for the children and I'm so comfortable leaving her in their care.

My son now looks forwards to his fun day at nursery. Happy son = happy parents!
