My daughter has been at this nursery for over 2 years, she is very happy and the staff are amazing. The staff make the atmosphere- it's friendly, supportive and positive. The facilities are good and children are well looked after. She's been supported through potty training too which was very helpful!

Our daughter recently started at Spitalfields nursery and has completely transformed during that time. All staff are really supportive and friendly and always ready to give the extra cuddles when drop offs are difficult.
Loved being regularly updated with pictures and what the kids have been up to
during the day.

We started our son 2 months ago when he was 9 months old. The staff are genuinely very caring, friendly and really helped him with settling in. The facilities are well maintained, tidy and clean. There is a small outdoor space for the children. Overall, I would recommend this nursery.

We only recently started nursery and so far we feel peace of mind. The child minders show genuine affection and care towards children and were quick to understand our child and cater to her individual needs. Management has been open to listening to concerns and resolution is quickly actioned. We are
pleased the nursery is committed to offering babies opportunities to develop and socialize that include trips to the farm and Market as well as French/Dance class and themed activities around holidays and cultural celebrations.
The staff has been very supportive of our daughter's dietary and feeding differences. We are also pleased with the number of bilingual (French/Greek/Spanish) children attending and the nursery has helped support our goals for our daughter's language development.

Our son is almost a year and a half, has been at Spitalfields about 6 months now and absolutely loves it. Dropping him off in the morning used to be a worry but he runs off happily without looking back! We also love the regular picture updates of the babies out and about
The staff are very caring
and look after him well. The head office have also been very accommodating when I've asked for some flexibility on dates / pick up times. All in all highly recommended

Since our daughter has started at Bright Horizons Spitalfields, the staff have made her feel like she's surrounded by family every day and encourage her to explore new environments with confidence and safety.
We could not be happier and would not change a single thing. We never thought we would be
so comfortable having a daughter away from us, but knowing she's at nursery and truly cared her gives us a peace of mind most parents strive for.

My first daughter began her time at Spitalfields in 21' and for the four years she was here has set her up for school with great life skills. Cristina and Lisa we can't thank enough for making her pre-school years wonderful. We now have a 7 month old in the nursery who we feel is looked after by all
members of that team. The whole staff across the nursery and management have been amazing and it's the best team currently in all our years at the nursery.

Our son started at the nursery at 9 months old and has been there for five months. We've been so pleased with how well he's settled and how much his development has progressed. The team works closely with us to support key skills like feeding himself, walking and developing his speech.

The staff and

management are kind, friendly and genuinely caring. Our son is always excited to see his carers, which says everything. He loves the extra classes such as Dance and Drama and French. The menu is healthy, with a good variety of balanced meals prepared by their onsite chef.

Located in central London near Spitalfields Market, space is more limited than some nurseries further out and the garden is smaller than others we viewed. However, they've recently introduced local trips, which is a great addition. Although it is expensive compared to some options, we feel it offers very good value for the quality of care provided.

Reply from Sarah Walker, Web Editor at Bright Horizons Spitalfields Day Nursery and PreschoolThank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased your son has settled so well and is progressing confidently with key skills. It's great to hear he enjoys the extra classes and nutritious menu, and that you feel supported by our caring team. We also appreciate your feedback on our central London space and are glad the new local trips add value. Thank you for your kind words.

Our son has been at the nursery for over a year. He is a child that found settling in hard and it was something as parents we were really worried about. But the whole team were so patient and caring and now he runs into nursery. They realized he likes certain routines and have always allowed him to
do them. The toddler room has so many activities and lessons and we now have a thriving little boy. The staff are beyond amazing and I feel really comfortable and happy leaving him there. He now asks if he can go which we never thought we would see! The garden is his favorite. 10/10 from this family x

Our son has settled into the nursery so well, and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives. The staff have been incredibly patient, warm, and accommodating from the very beginning, which made the transition much easier for both him and us as parents.

It's clear that the team genuinely care

about the children - they've taken the time to understand our son and make sure he feels comfortable and happy. He really enjoys going in each day, which is the best reassurance we could ask for.

The staff are always friendly and approachable with both my husband and me, and they keep us well informed about how he's doing. We're very grateful for the supportive and welcoming environment they've created.

Our daughter joined as a toddler in September 2025 and she has been enjoying every day at nursery ever since she started.
She loves her carers, whose patience and kindness deserve to be noted. The full staff of the nursery is always smiling and very attentive to the kids and their parents:
Constantly
making sure all goes well and proactively seeking feedback.
Activities, stories and even language and dance classes are much appreciated (by the parents as well!).
In a nutshell: I would highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter has been attending Spitalfields nursery for almost a year now and has settled in really well to the baby room. Her confidence has grown massively and she has learnt so much since joining. All of the staff are super lovely and show so much love and care towards the children. Sadhia and Agne
have particularly done a fabulous job of making our little one feel loved and calm which has put us at ease, and we know she is always in safe hands. An amazing nursery, we would highly recommend.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.891) out of 10 for Bright Horizons Spitalfields Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 24 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.891 for Bright Horizons Spitalfields Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (254 Excellents x 5) + (29 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 284 Ratings = 4.891
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons Spitalfields Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 50 number of registered child places is 10, which has been reached with 24 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
