Bright Horizons Southfields Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Situated in a waterside location and on the ground floor of a modern building, Southfields is a bright, thoughtfully designed environment for learning in Wandsworth, London. Ideal for parents needing to commute, the handy location is within walking distance of both Earlsfield overground and Southfields underground (District Line).

Within the age-focused rooms, the team provides the best start to schooling life through the enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by their own Early Years specialists. An holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

Additionally, the nursery's safe, enclosed garden has safety surfaces and a digging and planting area where children can grow their own plants and take part in a variety of different activities; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, the team can keep you updated via the Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with the nursery.

All-inclusive fees include all meals, snacks, branded nappies, wipes and creams. All food is nutritionally balanced and freshly cooked by the on-site chef and all the menus have been accredited by Action for Children.

We chose Bright Horizons in Earlsfield for our daughter after hearing great reviews from local parents and they did not disappoint. From the moment we did our tour, the staff were incredibly welcoming, reassuring and passionate about the care they provide. Our daughter thrived in the care of the staff
in the baby room and we saw her come on leaps and bounds in her development. The level of detail in the food and activities they provide are exemplery and keep children to a routine that allows them to feel comfortable and safe in the space. Big shout out to Barbara for being the most wonderful key worker!
We were sad to move our little one due to relocating and already miss BH Earlsfield. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone considering childcare in the area. Just make sure you sign up early as it's rightfully in high demand!

My husband and I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. We always felt reassured that our daughter was in great hands. The level of care and attention she received is second to none - it's honestly been the next best thing to having family take care of her. Staff are incredibly warm, nurturing
and attentive. They go above and beyond to create a positive and supportive environment. Our daughter has always come home happy and well-fed, and we've always felt at ease knowing she is being cared for by wonderful people. The nursery is always clean and welcoming (with a recent refurb). The activities they provide are fantastic - when they send photos of our daughter she always looks so happy and engaged. We love how they celebrate diversity and all the different cultures - this was really important to us. Sadly we've relocated out of area, but we can't thank them enough for the peace of mind they've given us and wonderful experiences they've provided our daughter. Thank you to the manager and team - miss you already!

A wonderful nursery run by an incredible manager. The staff are obviously all happy and care so warmly and enthusiastically for every child. We have been parents at the nursery since 2018 and my daughter and son have had six very happy years between them. They were always happy to go to nursery and
had so much fun. The range of activities is really good and the children also play a lot of outside games in the small garden/yard as well as in the local park. They were both also very well prepared for school. The manager is warm, kind and can-do and we will miss her and her lovely staff very much.

I live in Earlsfield and would not send my child anywhere else. Having heard all the stories of popular nurseries in the area from other mums, I feel so so fortunate to have chosen this one for our two girls.
The staff are so attentive, they care for the children as if they were their own. They are
proactive in updating the app during the day, very thorough run down of the day in the evening (if you benefit from this, very parent lead) and regular parent/key worker evening to discuss child development and even the odd parent social. They manage class transitions thoughtfully with so much care.
The nursery has had a recent refurb which has modernised the rooms.
Our two girls have been so happy there for many years. My eldest recently transitioned to reception at school and the prep for this was second to none! She was more than ready for school.
Early childhood care is not cheap but Bright Horizons Southfields Day Nursery and Preschool is worth every penny!

If anyone is looking for a wonderful nursery, please look no further. All the staff that work here are excellent. Their tremendous care, support, dedication, kindness and warmth make Bright Horizons Southfields Day Nursery and Preschool a special place. They really go above and beyond to support children
in their development and prepare them for school. The nursery manager and deputy manager are exceptional and make the nursery feel like a big family. The manager and her team run this nursery exceptionally well. The children are, without doubt, at the forefront of everything, we're certainly very lucky to have our daughters go to nursery here. The key workers are all brilliant, always smiling, there is such a warm, happy feeling at the nursery.

This nursery is incredible and my son is so happy there. The staff are amazing, caring and nurturing and you can tell that they really love and care for the children. They always do lots of fun activities to help their development. Since joining, my son's vocabulary has increased drastically. It is
so nice knowing that he is cared for in the same way that I would care for him and when I come to pick him up, he runs away as he doesn't want to come home because he is having such a fun time! We love Bright Horizons Southfields. The staff are all amazing and really get to know each child's preferences. Whenever we've asked for anything they've been able to do it - if it's his routine changing or we are picking him up early so they bring his lunch forward. They really tailor it to you and
make going back to work so much easier as we know he is well looked after and having fun. There is also a big focus on learning and development and messy play which is great for little ones. It's definitely on the pricier side which I think is fairly normal for the area but the quality has made up for this.

The staff are so kind and caring towards my grandson who has been at the nursery since he was one - he's now 20 months. They do fun activities and also focus these activities on learning. The nursery has recently been refurbished and has excellent facilities both inside and out. My grandson loves his
days at nursery and I struggle to get him to leave.
I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a nursery for their child.

We have been so happy at Bright Horizons since joining over 18 months ago. It is incredibly well run by the manager. The nursery has a personal, caring and loving feel. The staff are brilliant and consistent, which has helped our child feel settled, happy and confident going in every day.

Excellent staff - a lovely family culture. We know he is well looked after and they have great activities planned for them.

Our son loves the nursery and we know he is very well looked after and cared for. The level of different activities done by the staff is great. Communication from management is good and management is lovely and very involved in all the kids' well-being and care. The outside area is small but has plenty

My son has been at Bright Horizons Southfields Day Nursery and Preschool for just over a year now and we couldn’t be happier, we tried two other nurseries and can’t believe the difference, I wish we had found it before.
We have noticed how in the past year my son has been so much happier than before.
He truly enjoys his time at nursery, always runs in at drop off and has the biggest smile at pick up. At home, he will continue to sing and play things he learns at the nursery.
Our son is in the process of getting an ASD/autism diagnosis and everyone at Bright Horizons have been incredibly helpful and supportive, we truly found the best place for our little one. We really feel everyone from management, carers and cooks really do care about him, we feel very fortunate to be here and know we couldn’t have found a better place to help him develop and get him ready for big school.

My son started at Bright Horizons Southfields when he was 8 months old in May 2022. The manager and her team were so amazing in helping our family all deal with the transition to nursery. Within a couple of days, my son was clearly settling well and so happy at the nursery. He really loves every day
that we drop him there. The team in the baby room are brilliant, and my son has a big smile every time I collect him. It is so obvious that he enjoys every minute he spends learning and playing with the amazing team in the baby room. I really recommend this nursery. It’s a really lovely, friendly environment, and the team really nurture the children’s development. As a parent, it’s so heartwarming to get the sense that the staff care as much about your child as you do, and that’s how I feel about Bright Horizons Southfields. We really love it.

I started as a nursery assistant making all my way to nursery manager. I joined Bright Horizons in 2015 and I made my way from Bank Staff to Deputy manager. I started at Wandsworth Day Nursery, Southfields, Chiswick Park coming back now to Southfields as Deputy.
