Our little one has been going to this nursery for about 2 years now and have been very happy with the staff and how they manage kids including meals and curriculum which i see keeps evolving as the kids get older.

Our daughter started at RBS aged 2 in the Bluebells room just over a year ago and all the girls working there have been so great. She was quite hesitant at first but with the consistent warmth and encouragement from the staff she absolutely loves her two days a week there and is excited to go in and see her friends and the key workers. We have seen our daughter come on with her confidence and general capability this past year and I now feel so reassured that we chose RBS.

I can only recommend this nursery. My daughter has been here since just after she turned 1 and from the moment she started it was clear how well cared for she was. It made us feel at ease having to leave her. She has good relationships with the staff, she was always happy on drop off and pick up. She loves all the crafts and activities the staff provide and we appreciate all the outdoor time they get. We've always felt the staff genuinely care & will be sad to leave the nursery when it's time to move on.

Our child has attended Bright Horizons Gogarburn for 2 years, through baby to toddler to preschool rooms. We've had a really positive experience across all rooms. Our child loves the meals served and the activities, and they've developed & learned a lot during their time in the nursery. The staff are excellent, in each room there are several staff members our child has bonded with, and we feel they really care about the children. The staff turnover is low, and the management are friendly & helpful. Having previously attended a different nursery, our experience with Bright Horizons is far superior and we'd recommend Gogarburn.

Our second son is joining next year and we are sure he will enjoy it as much as our first does!

We would highly recommend this nursery to any family looking for a caring, professional, and nurturing environment for their child.

The nursery is a beautiful, bright, friendly place that my child loves to attend every day. The staff all have great knowledge on child development and knows my child well. They use every opportunity to make use of the beautiful beach and forest close by and makes sure every child has the opportunity to get out on walks or beach and forest experiences.

Good nursery where my child enjoys it and the staff know him well. They are very adapting to children's needs. The nursery itself is purpose built and is excellent compared to many Edinburgh nurseries. Many of the staff have been there a long time.

We have experience of a few nurseries in Edinburgh and I would choose Annandale every single time. The staff are warm and kind, they make the effort to get to know your child and understand theirs likes and dislikes. Throughout the day, the app is updated and we get a photo update of activities almost every day which helps us as parents feel in the know and in touch with what your child is doing at nursery. As well as this at pickup, the staff are able to give you a detailed rundown of how your child's day was. We also get lots of art and crafts home, which is lovely. Management are organised, responsive and listen to feedback or concerns. Not only that but they go out of their way to improve the nursery - recently we saw the introduction of a lending library and lending games. The food menu seems good, varied and healthy and my child eats well there. Most importantly, she seems to be fostering friendships and having fun. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Overall, it's a warm, caring, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

All the staff members were friendly and caring. We were just temporary for 2.5 months and my son had a great time here. Communicate was good so we felt confident leaving our child with them. We had a great experience and will highly recommend this nursery.

Watching Skye doing her all about me book, picking her folder and her teacher was great at explaining about what Skye was doing in nursery was a great experience for myself and Skye's grandmother. Keep up the great work.

My daughter loved going to this nursery. She started it in 2021 when she was 16 months old ,and graduated in 2025. The staff did everything possible to make her transitions as smooth as possible. The nursery teachers are very creative , supportive, and understand child's needs very well. My daughter always felt included and safe. Their hard work boosted her learning and confidence. Their communication with parents is also excellent. The administration team is also great ,supportive, and keen to resolve any issues and. Bright Horizons at Cramond is a very clean setting, and its location is a bonus ,as children can enjoy great walks into nature. Their meals are fantastic as well. I would highly recommend this nursery!

(My slight negative is the food - sometimes the snacks provided, we felt weren't great, but that's a small opinion and might not be the case for all).

Ultimately she was very excited to go in every week and we knew she was being well cared for. Definitely recommend Elsie Inglis as a great nursery.
