I'm am so happy I found this nursery and will recommend to everyone I know!

Choosing this nursery for our child was the best decision. What he received in terms of care and knowledge was more than what is expected from a different from family environment. My son adores everyone from teachers to managers. Everyone always greets us with smiles, sometimes when my son is not in the mood, they manage to cheer him up, when he is upset they hug him and give him so much love. He is fully prepared for school, they taught him to be curious and to want to know more and more about the world around us.I will be always grateful to them that gave my son this start in his life.

I will be genuinely sad when my children leave to start school, as this nursery has given them the most wonderful start in life. I couldn't have wished for a better environment for them to learn, grow, and thrive.

Bright Horizons Basildon Day Nursery is fantastic nursery. The teachers have been amazing. My son started in the baby and has transitioned through to toddler room and soon to be in toddler room 24-36. It has been as amazing journey for my husband, my son and I. He has grown to this beautiful boy and all thanks to the amazing teachers who have mums for him. We have some wonderful activities from Christmas to Easter and during Mother's Day. My son's development has really blossomed and it's all thanks your excellent roles in his nursery life. Thank you all at the Basildon day nursery.

We're especially grateful for encouraging our child to eat healthily and supporting toilet training and brushing teeth.

Wonderful nursery setting. The staff are always going the extra mile to make the children feel at home. A lot of effort goes into learning through play and there are many activities each and every day. The team are always open to questions and keep parents informed. We wouldn't send our little ones anywhere else.

The staff take great care of my daughter. She enjoys her time at the nursery. She is only 4 years old, but she likes her teachers so much that she wanted to give them flowers to show her appreciation. It is much appreciated.

My child moved to this nursery only in November as we moved home and has had such a positive experience despite joining in his final year before school. The nursery have enabled me to have peace of mind as a parent for a smooth nursery to school transition. My only regret is not having moved home sooner so my son could have joined this nursery earlier. The nursery offer a wide range of resources and facilities and I feel the staff listen and tailor their teaching/ nursery care to specific needs, if requested. All the staff and reception are friendly and approachable.

The only thing I'd like is a little more pictures updates throughout the week whether this is a weekly post/summary just on our daughter.

The girls at Bright horizons are some of the kindest and brilliant women I have ever met. My child's teachers are outstanding and have developed such a bond with my daughter that she is as excited to see them as she is members of our family! The management team are exceptional, they answer and issue or email immediately your never left waiting for any answers they are a wonderful team who's priority is clearly in best interest of the children always, would recommend the poppets day nursery staff to everyone who was looking for safe reliable exceptional childcare.

We are extremely pleased with this nursery and couldn't recommend it more highly. One of the first things that stood out to us was how clean and well-maintained the environment is. It always feels safe, fresh, and welcoming, which gives us great peace of mind as parents.

The range of activities offered is fantastic. The children are constantly engaged in creative, educational, and fun experiences that support their development and keep them excited about learning. It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into planning each day.

Most importantly, our children are genuinely happy attending. They look forward to going in every day, which says so much about the atmosphere and the people there. As parents, we also feel very happy and reassured by the staff. They are warm, attentive, and clearly dedicated to the children's wellbeing and growth.

Overall, it's a wonderful nursery that we trust completely and feel very lucky to be part of.

I truly recommend this nursery to all parents. I now have my 2 children attending and I feel confident in leaving them at nursery knowing that they are safe and being cared for by all the staff. I love seeing the caring affection between my kids and their teachers! They also provide healthy and nutritious food throughout the day and even with my 2 picky eaters, they seem to love the food!

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough. As a first time Mum when viewing different nurseries it's really hard to know what to look for but as soon as I visited here it had such a lovely feel about it and I knew it was the one for my little boy.

He started in January 2026 and has settled in so well, all of the team are so lovely and friendly and always go above and beyond. My little boy has CMPA and the team have been brilliant when accommodating this, before he started I was so nervous about meal times but he seems to really enjoy the food provided here.

The ladies are always so helpful with any questions that I have and always keep me fully up to date with what my little boy has been up to throughout the days/week. Since starting my little boy has become so sociable, especially with other children. He has developed in so many different ways it's really clear to see how he is benefiting from being here three days a week.

INCREDIBLE nursery. My son has started in the baby room and is now in preschool due to graduate this year. He loves coming and always has such a great time. Every day he does different crafts and activities and they celebrate such a variety of occasions and events. He has so much fun when there and loves playing out in the garden where there's so much to do. There's a great variety of food which he also loves! Staff are great and managers are exceptional, so friendly and incredibly accommodating. Wouldn't send my children anywhere else as they do a great job of caring for my boy.

The staff at Bright Horizons Chigwell have been absolutely superb in helping my son settle in to the nursery after moving from a previous nursery setting. They provided lots of support, fun and knowledge to make the transition very smooth! The key workers have gone above and beyond to reassure us as parents that our son will be well looked after and encouraged to continue to develop his full potential. The nursery manager and deputy manager are very approachable, the office has a complete open door policy to say "hello!" or ask 101 questions! Cannot recommend this nursery enough!

My son settled in well and really enjoys his days here and all the activities they provide for him, especially the amount of time spent outdoors including the opportunity for forest school.

The nursery has been like a second home to our son. Not just day care but a place where he has found best friends, caring and attentive staff and a safe environment for him to learn and play. We couldn't recommend it enough.

Great nursery and great staff, always keeps us updated with any information needed. My daughter has come on a long way since being there and she really enjoys going. It's a struggle to get her home some days.

Fabulous nursery. The staff are all so lovely and I'm so impressed by the food menu. My now 6 year old who graduated over a year ago still talks about how good the food was! I think they strike a good balance with stretching the development and nurturing the children.
