I have always been extremely pleased with Busy Bees. My little girl is currently 3 and has been attending since she was just 4 months old. From the baby room through to moving onto the lower floor, all the staff have consistently shown such kindness and genuine care towards my daughter.
Nothing is
ever too much trouble, and they always put me at ease. On the occasions my child has arrived upset and clinging to me, the staff have contacted me later with a photo of her happy and settled - not because I asked, but simply because they care and understand how reassuring that is for parents. That really means a lot.
All of the staff are friendly, approachable, and chatty, which creates such a welcoming environment.
My older daughter also attended Busy Bees from being a baby right through until she left for school, and we were always so happy with her time there too. I truly couldn't recommend Busy Bees highly enough.

My son attends Busy Bees in Worksop. My eldest son joined in 2023 & left in 2025 to start school also, & I didn't want him to leave! The care has been amazing for both of my children. They both absolutely love all of the staff and have built beautiful bonds with their key workers. Their progress in
speech & learning has also been amazing. The staff are friendly, caring & nurturing, what more can you ask for! They have beautiful spacious rooms, with various different educational areas & set ups. They also have a beautiful garden. Thank you to the amazing team at Worksop!

Staff are so kind and friendly, it's comforting to know my little boy is with people he can be comforted by when I'm at work. His social development and communication skills have come on so much since being at busy bees, particularly since moving in to the toddler room. They offer a big variety of meals
that are healthy and help children explore different flavours and my son really enjoys. I'm so happy we picked busy bees Worksop for our little boys nursery adventure.

Great staff and nursery. Daughter absolutely loves going. Staff are always smiling. Never any issues with drop off or pick up. Plenty of nurserys in the town where we live but so happy we chose Busy Bees. Updates throughout the day are more than welcomed and we always know how our daughter is getting
on. Keep up the great work.

Busy bees have been an amazing nursery for my son. He has been going since he was 14 months old and is now 2.5 years old. At first he took some settling in but the staff were amazing and reassuring, always keeping us updated. He now loves going to nursery and is always talking about his friends and
his favourite staff member Darcie! I am so happy with how he has progressed in his time at busy bees and can't thank all of the staff enough. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

We have only been there a month at nursery after my maternity leave has ended and so far our experience has been amazing. The care that's given to my son in the baby room has been amazing by all the staff so far and they are so helpful. It's only been a month but my boy has settled in so well and is
always smiling and happy and that's all I can ask for and helps me returning to work a lot easier. Also I like the updates I get throughout the day as again this helps me settle when I'm away from my baby.thank you again xx

We have always been really impressed with the care and attention shown in this nursery by the staff. It is clear that there is a caring, supportive atmosphere created by the staff and the nursery feels warm and inviting. Our son settled into a nursery routine very quickly, enjoys going and often talks
positively about his day. The feedback we receive is individualised and thorough. I would recommend this nursery to others.

I know they are safe and well looked after. The manager and her office team are always on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Fantastic nursery and staff who go above and beyond for all the children in their care. My son has attended since he was 7 months old and is now in the toddler room. He adores going to nursery and has thrived. I feel very comfortable leaving him in such a nurturing environment, knowing he is being well
looked after.

Highly recommend this nursery! There's lots of nurseries in the area but I found Busy Bees stands out more than the rest.
I have had two children attend busy bees, starting from babies right through to preschool. Both children settled in quickly.
My youngest child is now in preschool ready to leave
in September for school.
I receive updates regular through the app, which includes meals, nappy changes, sleeps and photographs. We also receive updates on his development checkpoints too!
When I collect at the end of the day I have feedback in great detail, such as how much they've eaten, and what they have been doing throughout the day.
Staff are very supportive and helpful with any queries I may have.
Nursery is always inviting, clean and homely.
Meals are varied and nutritional. Highly recommended!

We have two children in Busy Bees Workshop and have dealt with all rooms.
Our eldest is now in preschool and has grown so much in speech, imagination and ability. They are always doing new activities to help the children grow. They really promote independence from putting their own coat on to serving
themselves at dinner time. They implement topics that are current, e.g. child is going to have a sibling.
Our youngest has just started in the baby room and they have been amazing at helping her settle in and implementing her routine. They are always on the other end of the phone to ask if they are okay and have settled in okay after drop off. Handovers are really detailed and they will answer any question.
The food served is always really varied, which exposes the kids to new foods that might not be eaten at home. The chefs are available to ask questions to as well. Desserts/puddings have a main focus around fruit.
Highly recommend Busy Bees Worksop!

My son started Busy Bees Worksop in July 2022. Having his visits and starting on his first day the manager and all the staff were very helpful with any questions I had. The girls asked loads of questions to get to know my son and interacted with him on his visits. All the staff are very happy and friendly
when I see them around the setting. He has now been at nursery for over a month and is loving his time there I love seeing the photos on the parent app and getting feedback of what he's been doing throughout the day. He comes home very happy and relaxed from his day at nursery. He seems to have settled in very well already bonding with his key workers and interacting with the other children.

My daughter came to this nursery and enjoyed every moment. The staff were so friendly and helpful when arriving at the setting, that I never had a problem bringing her and on days she wasn't in the nursery she was asking to go. She started at the nursery when she was 9 months old, I was able to leave
her knowing she was taken good care of and her routine was being followed. She moved throughout the nursery into the preschool where she was taught valuable skills to prepare her for school. The staff kept me up to date with her development and gave me examples of things I could do at home with her. I found that the recent addition of the iConnect was very helpful and I would get photographs and information about what she had been doing at nursery and I could send things we had been doing at home so they could focus on it at nursery. I can't recommend this nursery enough, my daughter is a very happy, sociable little girl who has come such a long way since starting the nursery. Thank you all.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.590)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.590) out of 10 for Busy Bees Worksop is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 13 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Busy Bees Worksop is calculated as follows: ( (155 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 155 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.59 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Worksop is based on 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.825
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 85 number of registered child places is 17. 13 Positive Reviews ÷ 17 = 0.765
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
