My daughter has been at the nursery for a year now, having started when she was 7 months old. Sending your baby full-time to nursery at that age can be daunting, but right from the get-go everyone has been so welcoming, supportive, and reassuring.
She's grown, developed, and learned so much since joining. It's wonderful to see how confidently she interacts with both the staff and other children of all ages. What really stands out is how every member of staff makes a real effort to get to know all the children - even those not in their main room. It creates such a warm, familiar atmosphere throughout the whole nursery.
The food is also fantastic, so varied and nutritious. It really helped with weaning, and now my daughter eats absolutely everything!
The team truly go above and beyond, not just for the children but for the parents too, which makes such a difference.

Seeing how happy and engaged all the children are really says it all. Our experience has been incredibly positive.

Busy Bees at Nottingham Uni is a wonderful, welcoming environment for little ones. The team go above and beyond to make sure children feel safe and looked after, all the way up to the management level. We have found communication both easy and friendly, while the rooms are clean, spacious and child-friendly. I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery on or close to the campus.

Staff are really friendly and have given my son fantastic care since January 2022, and are now helping him to prepare for going to school. The food always seems great and my son enjoys it. I'd like to hear more about the learning elements (phonics and number work mainly) that they do in preschool (buzz) but other than that I'm very happy with everything they've done for my son.

I had the most amazing experience leaving my daughter in the care of Busy Bees Nottingham University. From the very first visit, I was impressed and since then, I have been continuously blown away. My daughter absolutely adores the nursery! She is always excited to go there and has so much fun. The staff are wonderful and create a warm and welcoming environment that she feels comfortable in. It's such a relief, as a parent, to see her happy and thriving at the nursery. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their child will truly love being. The environment is clean and safe. It is a kind of experience that all parents should have. In addition, the communication from the nursery is excellent. Overall, the experience with them has exceeded my expectations and beyond.

My little girl has been attending Busy Bees since she was 7 months old and she absolutely loves nursery life. The staff team are experienced and nurturing and really care about my daughter's individual needs. We have an app which the staff team update daily, with details of how she has eaten, slept and nappies throughout the day. They also upload photos, detailed observations and we can also upload as parents which is a great tool for sharing home life with her carers. Staff are really friendly and approachable. My daughter loves her food so it's great that the nursery has such a varied menu so she is able to try a wide variety of foods and the nursery chef has recipe cards available for you to take home! My daughter is growing in confidence each day and this is definitely down to the staff team at Nottingham University Busy Bees, thank you!

After moving from a different setting, I can see the difference in my little boy. He sleeps and eats well and is so happy on collection. The food is great and there are lots of different activities each time. I love that I get to see what he has eaten and slept on the parent app!

Both of my children attend Busy Bees at Nottingham University. My daughter started school this year and was very well prepared, she is ahead of many of her classmates because of how the staff at Busy Bees focused on foundation education as well as social skills. They are a group of fantastic early years educators and the management is very well organized. Each child is treated with dignity and love.

Overall Experience
For five years Busy Bees has been a daily constant for my children and I. First my son and then my son and daughter have gone to this nursery. Between the two children, I have experience of every room and most aspects of the care provided. This includes additional help for speech and language and behaviour.
I couldn't be happier with the care provided. All the staff always had a smile for me and the kids. They really care and get excited over new achievements and developments.
Thinking back on my memories the word that comes to mind is "easier". Through whatever stresses and strains life has thrown over the last five years my life and my kid's lives were made easier because we had the support from everyone at this nursery.
So many of the staff are the same people who were there on my first visit to look round. The friendly and loving atmosphere is what helped us make the decision to send our children there. It is a decision that I have never questioned.

I cannot recommend enough!

My little one has attended Busy Bees at Nottingham University for two years now. He was born 12 weeks prem, was struggling with speaking and eating. The staff have been amazing with him, very patient and have helped him along brilliantly. His key worker got him speaking and eating in no time, I can't thank her enough. He is now 3 years old and has now moved up in class. He still has eating issues but nowhere near what it was.

The rest of the staff are amazing, they are all so welcoming and always greet you with a smile when you arrive in the nursery. All of the staff have also been so supportive with me as a parent, guiding me and being there when I'm down with all the hospital appointments and constant diet changes made by the doctors. I can't thank them all enough and dread the day when my child starts school and I have to say bye to them.

Key workers and management are genuinely caring about the welfare of the child and this extends to the welfare of the parent. Key workers/ Room Managers listen to feedback/concerns and act accordingly. I hadn't wanted to put my child into the nursery as early as I had to but she has blossomed at Busy Bees and loves going to nursery.

Brilliant nursery, always caring and polite, always update you with little one's progress and daily activity, always happy to help with extra needs, always clean.

This nursery has gone above and beyond to not only care for my little one, born 3 months premature but also supporting me and giving me great advice. One person in particular. Thank you Busy Bees at Nottingham University.

The staff at the nursery go out of their way to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. They have done a great job in encouraging our boy to grow in confidence and socialise well with others. They offer flexibility which we found to be lacking when we were considering which nursery to register our son with. We get an excellent run-down of everything our son has been up to during the day and staff work with you on issues such as a change in nap time routine. We love the nursery and would recommend.

All three of my children have attended this nursery since 2011 with my youngest still there. My daughter is quite shy but I feel like she has gained a lot of confidence and is always happy to go in. When I pick her up, she's excited to tell me the fun things she has done. Staff are helpful and friendly have always made an effort to get to know my children's individual needs.

My daughter was well looked after from day one and I always felt happy leaving her in the care of the staff. Staff always showed they knew my daughter well, from listening to the feedback I was given they clearly had taken the time to get to know her individual needs. Now she is older she tells me about all the exciting things she does and often will sing songs that she has learnt from their staff.

My daughter has attended this nursery since September 2013. She has developed well and gained confidence socialising and interacting with others.

In the early years, I had to complain about my daughter coming home with dirty clothes, but this was dealt with by staff members.

Outdoor equipment poor.

There is no computer and the smartboard hasn't worked, no sound.
