Busy Bees Wollaton, Nottingham

We absolutely love Busy Bees Wollaton. Our daughter enjoys her nursery days so much. The new app is really great for getting a snapshot of their day. My daughters key worker Sian is her absolute favourite she has such a special relationship with her. Sian has a fantastic nature with the children. We have seen so many milestones be met and exceeded ever since our daughter joined at Busy Bees. Thank you for helping our little one grow!

We've had such a positive experience with this nursery and feel very grateful for the care and support our child receives. The staff have built a lovely rapport with them, and it's clear they take the time to get to know each child as an individual. It's wonderful to see the strong relationships our child has formed with several members of the team, which gives us real reassurance as parents. Communication is always professional, open, and supportive, and any questions are handled thoughtfully and proactively. The facilities are fantastic, and the outdoor area in particular is a brilliant space where children can explore, play, and enjoy themselves. We've been especially grateful for the recent support with potty training and weaning off the dummy. The patience, encouragement, and consistency from the staff have made the process much easier for both us and our child. Overall, we're incredibly thankful for the warm, caring environment the team creates and the dedication they show.

Our experience with the nursery has been great. The fascilities are really good and work well for a nursery the way it's all set up. We've also been very impressed with the food provision which is really varied and provides good exposure to a range of flavours that we may not have at home. The only area I could see to improve would be the end of day handovers, often at busy times these can be rushed and inpersonal. It would be good to hear specifically about my child and what they like or dislike instead of just hearing about what they did and what they ate.

We cannot speak highly enough about this nursery. The staff are absolutely brilliant, they clearly care deeply for the children and have created an environment for them to thrive. Our daughter loves going to nursery, and has formed a close bond with several of the team. She has come on so much since starting, thanks to their dedication and care. The facilities are fantastic, and there's never a dull moment. The food is fresh and nutritious (which our daughter inhales) and there's lots of activities to do. Genuinely a super happy parent, and would definitely recommend. It has made going back to work much easier knowing that she's settled, and is being thoroughly supported and cared for.

My daughter absolutely loves it here. All the staff are friendly super helpful and caring. They are very supportive set up great settling in sessions and help your little ones settle in. They are creative and always have activities for your little ones. My daughter above sheer key worker who has always been amazing and very informative. I would highly recommend this nursery and can't wait for my son to join his big sister here too!

We are incredibly grateful for the nurturing environment and exceptional care our child has received at the nursery since joining at 2.5 years old. As a Chinese family new to the UK, our child initially spoke no English. The teachers kindly asked me to record videos for our child to help him feel more secure and understand basic needs. We've truly seen how the teachers support emotional learning and regulation. They are also wonderful observers, noticing our child's interests such as airplanes, rockets and how our child approaches his artwork and tracking his language development. We've also witnessed the strong bonds our child has formed with specific teachers and friends. As parents, we are truly delighted with our choice of this nursery, which has provided a positive, loving and supportive place for our child's growth and development.

My daughter goes to this nursery and she absolutely loves it, the staff are amazing and friendly when you walk through the door they are always smiling. They keep you updated on your child's progress as well as the app. The curriculum board is always displayed so you know what your children are learning, the rhymes they are learning and the books they are reading. They provide healthy and nutritional snacks for children. I would recommend this nursery 100% definitely worth the money. The outside space is well-kept and tidy.

My experience with Wollaton Busy Bee Nursery has been nothing short of exceptional. Initially, when my child was attending for 15 hours funding, the limited availability of days felt restrictive. However, the transition to 30 hours funding opened up a world of flexibility. I was able to discuss my needs with the incredible staff, who were incredibly accommodating in rearranging my child's schedule. This allowed him to attend on more days, giving him a much broader range of opportunities to develop his skills and socialize, rather than being confined to just Mondays and Fridays. The fact that I can call at any point to check up on him and have my call answered quickly and efficiently, provides immense peace of mind, further solidifying my positive experience with the nursery.

My child has been attending this nursery since Autumn 2023. It took a few weeks to settle in, (for both me and my child) but the staff were super supportive and understanding during this time. Now, my child has built up a great relationship not just with their keyworker but with other staff in the nursery. It's lovely that the staff take the time to give you a detailed debrief at the end of the day, it almost feels as if my child is the only one there with the amount of detail given and it feels like they genuinely care. My little one always eats well and sleeps well. From the regular updates and photos, I can see that my little one is having a great time, and gets to do activities we wouldn't otherwise do at home, e.g. Playing with sand. I'd 100% recommend this nursery.

The carers and staff and the nursery are amazing, the service is exactly what I would want for my daughter. The care she gets is so unique. With my daughter's key worker, I feel we have the best of the best when we see and hear about what care she gets.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery since September last year and what a great nursery it is. My daughter's key worker is amazing with her, very helpful with her needs and progression. She is very kind and very helpful with pick ups with explaining how her day went.

The staff are lovely and my little girl is really happy and settled, she talks about the staff with a lot of affection and they often go above and beyond what they are required to do to make sure she is happy. Would definitely recommend.

Pre-school has been so good for my son. He has absolutely loved going each week and seeing his friends and teachers. His keyworker is great with the children and is always welcoming with a big smile on her face.

Both of my children have attended this nursery setting and I have always been very pleased with the staff. They get to know the children really well and design their curriculum to work with the experiences of their charges. My youngest has been attending since she was 9 months old, and my eldest attended from being a year old to starting school. Both children looked forward to attending and playing with their friends in an ever-changing array of educational activities.

10/10 experience.

Our two children both attend Busy Bees Wollaton. One in the babies' room and one in the preschool room. Both our children love going to nursery and they have loads of fun and get involved in lots of activities. The staff have taken a genuine interest in their happiness and well-being. We would highly recommend this nursery.

The staff have taken excellent care of our son and created a special bond with both of our children and gone over and above what is expected in doing this.

From the start (15 months ago) we have been very happy with the staff and the care provided for our daughter in babies and toddlers. Staff know each child well, are accommodating, records of key events - sleep times, meals eaten etc - are made and published on the app and it is easy to phone and talk to staff to check on the child or make a request. She is happy to be dropped off for each session which is great. They also have a structured program of activities to help each child develop skills at the right time. Highly recommend.

I have been very happy with Busy Bees, Wollaton. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and my little boy has become very comfortable and happy going there every day. He now often walks into the room in the morning rather than having to be encouraged. We recently had a parents' evening (very exciting, our first one). Here's me thinking that the little chap just went there and played every day, but I quickly learned that there's a lot more planning that goes into his development than I thought. They look at his emotional, physical and mental needs and tailor his activities accordingly. This along with what we do at home seems to have him making good progress. The app is very good as well for monitoring his activities each day. It's always a joy to have a notification come up and see what he's been up to!

Our daughter has been at Busy Bees since she was one and is now due to go to school. She has thrived under the care of the lovely ladies who work there. Everyone is so friendly, from the cook to the nursery workers, through to management. Her current key worker has particularly helped with her speech development and has really nurtured her. I would recommend this nursery highly.
