My son attends busy bees in clipstone and loves it! He always gets excited when I get him out of the car at drop off. The staff are so helpful and very attentive.
You are always greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. My son loves his key worker and I can see how much he has come on since
attending busy bees.
Parents are kept up to date through out the day via the app and it's so lovely to see what he is getting up to while he's not with me.

My daughter also attended before starting full time school and she still talks fondly of what she used to get up to at nursery.

We're really enjoying Busy Bee's, the staff are so wonderful with our daughter. She's learnt so much being there and absolutely loves it. I love how updated we are throughout the day with the app, which is so easy to use. We're really assured she's cared for, entertained and most importantly, happy.

My daughter has attended the nursery since September 2025. The staff at the nursery have been very friendly. My daughter enjoys attending the nursery and is eager to get in the car to go.
The app is great for communicating with the nursery and seeing when your child has been changed, fed and when they
are sleeping.
The food provided is healthy and the nursery has been great accommodating my daughter's CMPA.
Overall, we would recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has developed fantastically here, she truly enjoys spending time with her friends and the team in her room. The team at the nursery always keep you in the loop with their activity planning, what they are working on, how they are eating / potty training which gives you that peace of mind
and helps you work on skills at home. They often plan trips down to the park or more recently the library which just recommends them more.
Our daughter is excited to attend every day and I can't recommend them enough.

During my child's time at the nursery she has made amazing bonds with key workers. Transitions to different rooms are done with ease and the children are familiar with all key workers. My childs key workers communicate efficiently with us and communicate with us the learning they have done and the learning
they are starting. This is evidenced through photos of the children taking part in activities and photographs/links to curriculum and other resources. I'm very happy that my child attends this nursery. It has been the perfect place for my child to flourish.

My son has been attending Busy Bees since September 24 and throughout this time we can see how much he's developed with every new song he sings at home that we never taught him, with many skills he's learned in nursery that we were not brave yet to try at home (like using scissors). He loves going and
seeing his friends and his teachers. The team is wonderful, kind and accommodating to our needs and emergencies! I highly recommend (from a Momma with trust issues, gladly letting "strangers" take care of her most precious person in the world)

Fantastic nursery, would highly recommend to family and friends.
We put our son into nursery for 2 days a week at the start of the year. Obviously as any new parents would we were worried the first few times he went, just due to him probably being one of the younger children, but now he's starting
to settle in nicely with the fantastic support from the team.
The staff are all amazing, constantly communicating with us throughout the day and put both me and my wife's minds at rest. The app is brilliant, constantly being updated throughout the day so we can see what our little one is doing/eating and sleeping.
Every time I collect my son I am always welcomed with smiles and all the staff are a credit to the nursery.

Our little one joined back in September 24 and I can honestly say that the team have been incredible. Everyone is there to support when needed. He has been able to settle in well and nursery has become a second home to him. He is always happy and smiling.
Since he started they have had an upgrade
to their outdoor space and he has loved being outside

Our daughter has been attending here just under a year from 10 months old twice a week and absolutely adores it.
The staff are wonderful in supporting her development and confidence and she has fostered such a positive relationship with them all.
Everyone is so kind and caring and it is such a relief
knowing she is going somewhere she is cared for so well and is flourishing as her own individual little person.

Outstanding nursery with brilliant staff who our child adores. We visits 8 nurseries in the area and so glad we chose Busy Bee's at Vicar. Our boy started at 6months old and will leave this year, couldn't thank the team enough for their amazing help developing our young person.

My little boy has been going here since Jan 2025, after we moved back home. The staff have been so understanding about his current health conditions as well as understanding the days that my little boy goes to his dads for a weekend. They always go above and beyond to keep me up to date with how he
is progressing and always go the next mile to make sure he has the best day he can.

Both of my children have been to busy bees, between them for the best part of 4 years.
All staff working at busy bees currently are fantastic and alway good at answering any questions and worries. Both of my children have had excellent experiences in all 3 rooms with all staff.
I don't ever doubt
the care my daughter receives, she's always happy, content and busy making mess!

Our little boy started busy bees when he was 7 months old, now he is nearly 3 and he loves going. Staff are always professional and enthusiastic and we believe attending busy bees has helped our son to develop his independence and motor skills.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The care and attention they give to the children is wonderful, and it's so reassuring to know our daughter is in such a safe, nurturing environment. She absolutely loves going each day, which says everything. The staff are kind, patient, and clearly passionate
about what they do. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

My daughter started in may 2025 just after her first birthday and has come on leaps and bounds since being at nursery. She started in the baby class then moved up to the toddlers and the main thing I noticed was how much more she started speaking. She loves being at nursery and it's lovely to see the
regular updates through out the day of what she's been up to. The girls in her room spend quality time with her and know her inside out. It's lovely to see the relationships she has made while being there with staff and the other children, I'm really happy with the nursery and would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a nursery in the area.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.966) out of 10 for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.966 for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is calculated as follows: ( (254 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 263 Ratings = 4.966
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is based on 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 number of registered child places is 11.2, which has been reached with 22 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
