Both our boys love busy bees, they smile when they run in.
When we arrived to look around in 2023 we knew it was where our LO would thrive. Fiona is a great manager, she's only ever a phone call away and it was her who sold us busy bees as a place for him to go. Her kindness, knowledge and enthusiasm
for the place as well as someone from an office actually knowing the kids when she welcomes us in the morning is exceptional.
We have been lucky that from his first room to his third his key worker has transitioned with him which has been fab. And now she's with our other LO which has been amazing for us as parents as we know how she cares.
While at busy bees both our little ones have learnt so much. Not only academically but also emotionally and physically. Thanks to the continued nurturing and structure they receive here.
All the staff are friendly and are helpful with advice if we need it to help guide our boys and the updates we get throughout the day puts our mind at ease! Amazing!

We've been at busy bees since November 2023 and have had two children move through babies to pre school. We couldn't recommend busy bees enough, the staff are kind and loving towards the children and have a great understanding of child development and how the activities help this. Comminucation has
also been clear and consistent and concerns are heard and addressed.

Our almost 3 year old has attended this nursery since he was 1. He has undoubtedly learnt so much from this nursery from nursery songs, numbers, days of the week, ABC's, manners, playtime skills and how to shop on days out. The staff are absolutely fantastic. They listen to any concerns with consideration
and they really show great care towards their children. They keep you updated on the app every day with photos and tell you all about their day including what your child has had to eat throughout each day. They always contact you by telephone should they need to discuss anything with you including tumbles or falls. They're always looking at ways to introduce new activities and themed events into the nursery and on some occasions, they invite parents along to take part. I would absolutely rate this nursery 10/10 - the whole team are fantastic and we couldn't have wished for a better nursery for our son, who have given him the best start to social skills and education.

We've been attending since September and we love it! Staff are so friendly and lovely with little one. Love that we get updates from the app and love seeing photos throughout the day of what they've been getting up to. Handovers are always personal and I never feel like I'm being rushed. Never make
me feel silly for questions I ask either which is lovely as a FTM!
Little one absolutely loves each of the staff and I'm so happy that with every week that passes drop offs are easier and we just walk straight in to smiles!
Thank you so much!

Both of my children have attended Busy Bees, and our experience has been incredibly positive.
My eldest settled in after just one session and loved every minute. Even now, they still ask about the staff and get excited when we go to pick up their younger siblings, which really shows the lasting impression
the team have made.
My youngest was the definition of "velcro baby". She found drop off very difficult and would often cry for much of the day. It took time for her to settle, but the staff were so patient, calm and reassuring. Thanks to their perseverance and genuinely caring approach, she now toddles in happily without any tears and truly enjoys her days there - something I never thought id see!
I would absolutely recommend Busy Bees to any parent looking for a warm, welcoming nursery where you can feel confident your children are safe, supported and genuinely cared for.

My son has been attending since 2023, he was 6 months old, from day one I had regular updates and pictures and I didn't feel like I missed a thing, it was so reassuring to see from the beginning how much milk he was drinking and through weaning it was fantastic the variety of foods the nursery tried
with him, and to see how much he ate! He's now a brilliant eater. Shortly after starting nursery he had quite a big operation and again the nursery were so supportive before and in the after care, and through it all supporting and working with me through his difficult speech journey. The feedback and support all his key workers have given really makes me feel that I'm not alone in this maze of a journey bringing him up, they say it takes a village....well Busybees and all the staff have been my own little village and I believe detrimental in the cultivating of this confident, robust and now, very chatty little toddler.

My son attends busy bees in clipstone and loves it! He always gets excited when I get him out of the car at drop off. The staff are so helpful and very attentive.
You are always greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. My son loves his key worker and I can see how much he has come on since
attending busy bees.
Parents are kept up to date through out the day via the app and it's so lovely to see what he is getting up to while he's not with me.

My daughter also attended before starting full time school and she still talks fondly of what she used to get up to at nursery.

My daughter has attended the nursery since September 2025. The staff at the nursery have been very friendly. My daughter enjoys attending the nursery and is eager to get in the car to go.
The app is great for communicating with the nursery and seeing when your child has been changed, fed and when they
are sleeping.
The food provided is healthy and the nursery has been great accommodating my daughter's CMPA.
Overall, we would recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has developed fantastically here, she truly enjoys spending time with her friends and the team in her room. The team at the nursery always keep you in the loop with their activity planning, what they are working on, how they are eating / potty training which gives you that peace of mind
and helps you work on skills at home. They often plan trips down to the park or more recently the library which just recommends them more.
Our daughter is excited to attend every day and I can't recommend them enough.

During my child's time at the nursery she has made amazing bonds with key workers. Transitions to different rooms are done with ease and the children are familiar with all key workers. My childs key workers communicate efficiently with us and communicate with us the learning they have done and the learning
they are starting. This is evidenced through photos of the children taking part in activities and photographs/links to curriculum and other resources. I'm very happy that my child attends this nursery. It has been the perfect place for my child to flourish.

My son has been attending Busy Bees since September 24 and throughout this time we can see how much he's developed with every new song he sings at home that we never taught him, with many skills he's learned in nursery that we were not brave yet to try at home (like using scissors). He loves going and
seeing his friends and his teachers. The team is wonderful, kind and accommodating to our needs and emergencies! I highly recommend (from a Momma with trust issues, gladly letting "strangers" take care of her most precious person in the world)

Fantastic nursery, would highly recommend to family and friends.
We put our son into nursery for 2 days a week at the start of the year. Obviously as any new parents would we were worried the first few times he went, just due to him probably being one of the younger children, but now he's starting
to settle in nicely with the fantastic support from the team.
The staff are all amazing, constantly communicating with us throughout the day and put both me and my wife's minds at rest. The app is brilliant, constantly being updated throughout the day so we can see what our little one is doing/eating and sleeping.
Every time I collect my son I am always welcomed with smiles and all the staff are a credit to the nursery.

Our little one joined back in September 24 and I can honestly say that the team have been incredible. Everyone is there to support when needed. He has been able to settle in well and nursery has become a second home to him. He is always happy and smiling.
Since he started they have had an upgrade

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.971) out of 10 for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 29 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.971 for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is calculated as follows: ( (337 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 347 Ratings = 4.971
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is based on 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 number of registered child places is 11.2, which has been reached with 29 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
