b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.5 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 12 months.
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating of all Reviews over all time. For each review the Day Nursery / service is rated Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Poor or Very Poor on a number of areas eg Staff, Management etc. The Day Nursery receives points for each rating as follows: Excellent = 5. Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.
The Average Rating of 4.597 for Busy Bees at Watford Hospital is calculated as follows: ( (90 Excellents x 5) + (50 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 144 Ratings = 4.597
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 12 months. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with 'Extremely Likely' or 'Likely' in answer to the question 'How likely are you to recommend this Day Nursery to friends and family?'
The 5 points available are broken down as follows:
4 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews, 3 points for the first Positive Review and then 0.25 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews.
1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.
If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.
The 3.467 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees at Watford Hospital is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 12 months and is calculated as follows:
3 + 0.25 = 3.25
Target of 9.2 positive Reviews (46 registered maximum number of service users ÷ 5). 2 Reviews ÷ 9.2 Target = 0.217
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

Busy Bees at Watford Hospital is a lovely nursery. All staff members are very caring and helpful. The administration was very helpful in sorting out all of my concerns. My daughter had a wonderful time here and I was very happy and satisfied with the way everybody took care of her. She is surely going to miss all of you. I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends. Unfortunately, my placement is ending at the hospital so I have to leave. I would definitely use Busy Bees services again if I get a chance to work in the hospital. In the end, I want to thank all the staff members for taking such good care of my daughter.

My children have really enjoyed being in nursery. I have seen how much they have developed. Nursery has become an integral part of our life because the vast amount of resources available to them to grow and develop is immeasurable. They look forward to seeing their friends and teachers. They respond very well to their friends and teachers. They have learnt skills which I could not have thought them solely at home.

My son has been at Busy Bees at Watford Hospital since he was 8 months. I had gone round Watford and looked at most of the nurseries. As a full time working mum I wanted a place where I could leave my baby without having to worry. Making my first appointment was easy. I had seen four other places. Walking in there what struck me most that there was no smell, yippee! I thought, clean, that means my son would be changed when required. I love the place. My son even refuses to go home at times, if they opened 24 hrs, we'd live there. We love it.

My daughter started nursery in January 2015. At first I was worried as she was only nine months old and I didn't know what to expect. The staff were very supportive and made sure she was well looked after. They took on board all my concerns and helped her become confident. I am very happy with how she enjoys attending the nursery and how all the staff are friendly and helpful when I ask for advice.

My daughter has settled very well at this welcoming and friendly nursery. The childcare is person centred and any issues are brought up in a timely manner. My child is happy to come to the nursery and it gives me peace of mind. She is learning new things every week and keyworkers take real interest in her development and give very constructive and detailed feed back.
