Busy Bees Derby Heatherton

Have used this nursery since my daughter attended from 2018. Never had a bad word to say at this nursery. Very professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend to everyone that asks. Go the extra mile for your children and always make sure they are at the right level for development of your children.

Our daughter is very happy attending nursery at Busy Bees Derby Heatherton. She's been there since she's 1 and is now 2 and a half. The food is good, staff are caring and there is varied activities. We've had some minor issues with nappy changes and drop offs, but the communication has been good and all have been resolved. The team keep us informed and all know and take care of our child. I feel confident she is looked after when she's at nursery. The outdoor spaces are a bit artificial, but provide sufficient space for the little ones to run around and explore and have recently been renovated. Overall I'd recommend the nursery!

My daughter started nursery at Busy Bees at nine months old as I had to return to work and I was anxious about leaving her five days per week so young. All of the staff have been amazing and supportive and the relationship my daughter has with the staff in her room is amazing. She has her arms out every morning for them and she is absolutely thriving in the nursery environment. I have no doubt that this is due to the dedication and caring nature of every staff member I have spoken to so far. I have nothing but praise and positive feedback and if anyone is considering sending their child to Busy Bees in Heatherton I would highly recommend it!

We moved to Littleover last year and we were nervous about our boy starting pre-school in a new nursery. However, it's been a wonderful experience. Our boy is settled and has several new friends. We want to thank the manager - on our visiting day she noticed we has an older son. She explained that because he was younger than 8 so he could come to the nursery during the holidays. This has been very useful as we now drop off and pick up the boys together during the holidays. She also told about the breakfast and afterschool clubs in the area as we were struggling to find a good one.

Absolutely love this nursery. My son and daughter both attend nursery and we are so so glad we chose it. They come home full of beans and happy with lots of artwork and some great photos put on the parent app really regularly. We feel really valued and listened to as parents and have a huge respect for the great job the staff do. Thank you!

Busy Bees have been fantastic with our son, and no request is too much. He has enjoyed every stage of the nursery, and each room is great. The toys and activities are very well suited to the 'ages' and staff are very knowledgeable and supportive.

We are both very proud of our daughter's achievements so far. Thank you for all your help and support.

Since our child started at this nursery, we have seen him develop his social skills and learning. We also get tips on how to help him develop, The staff are patient and I have seen my son develop from someone who was very nervous on his first four weeks to someone who enjoys attending. The nursery is welcoming with very friendly staff. The level of personal care varies a little from room to room - being most focussed in the baby environment.

The nursery is large and staff/children numbers means there are many adults involved with your child in any one day, making feedback a challenge. Feedback on day activities needs to improve as the nursery invests heavily in experiences for the children. Our children are happy at this nursery and that is very important to our family.

We are very impressed with the care our child is receiving. The staff are lovely and have given us fantastic advice.

Both of our girls attended the nursery and both have developed personal and social skills well. They have been supported really well by all staff. The girls always come home full of stories and tales of the day.
