Busy Bees Derby Oakwood Bishops Drive

From the moment Charlotte showed us around the nursery we have been wowed with the care of our daughter, the communication from the nursery and how well developmentally she is coming on. We love our daily updates from Marie, Tash and Hannah on her development and hearing all about her day from the other staff in the nursery. I love that all of the staff knows who she is and have formed a relationship with her, ready to make her moving onto the next room much easier for her. We couldn't think of a better nursery to send our daughter to.

From the very first show round and settling-in sessions, the team made us feel welcomed and reassured. They took the time to understand my son as an individual including their personality, their needs, their interests and they celebrate every milestone with us. The team has become an extension of our family and have been a valuable support to myself as I have no family locally. I always know my son is in the best hands and get regular updates. My son has loved every second of being there and loves all "his" ladies so much that he does not want to go to school September and instead stay at nursery - that is the true testament to the experience we have had!

We are very happy with Busy Bees and would happily recommend the nursery to other families.

Busy Bees Bishops Drive has been amazing and helped my daughter come on so much. She has become a confident little girl and is ready to start school with all the help and care the staff have given her. Nothing is every to much trouble for the staff, and they will help in every way possible. Everyone that has looked after my daughter from the baby room all the way though to pre school have been fantastic

The Busy Bees team at Bishops Drive are brilliant. They are conscientious and caring, listen to what each child needs, and do whatever they can to help. Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was almost 2, and she's now prepping to leave for school. The whole team have got to know her well, worked with our preferences around nap times and potty training (a million thanks) and have helped her with additional needs around diet and speech. It was just the warm and welcoming environment we needed while she was little, and they have really nurtured her through to primary school. She gives it 20 thumbs up at the end of the day and we whole heartedly recommend it to others.

Marie his key worker is always so lovely and happy to see us and any issues the girls are always so open and all been fab!

My son started this nursery less than a year ago and he has settled in extremely well, he absolutely loves going to nursery! The staff have been brilliant and are very invested in his development and are always keeping us up to date with what he has been learning and focusing on each week. The staff are compassionate and genuinely care about the children and it really reassures me that he is in safe hands when he is there.

the staffs are very kind and friendly they look after my child ok they always willing to update me on recent developments i could see the difference they make in my child development and my child is always still clean and cloths looks ok my child is always happy when been dropped at the daycare which shows he loves it and feels comfortable but the only issue which i understand is when i come pick my son his nose is not always properly clean which i didn't like but understand they are trying their best but overall he is well looked after thank you all for your hard work

My daughter started in Feb 2026 and the care and nurture she has received since starting is amazing. My daughter loves going to nursery and the nursery is that good and welcoming that it only took her 2 weeks to settle. I would recommend this nursery to everyone. The girls are happy to accommodate what ever needs we need for my daughter no change is to much.

The staff have really helped my little girl settle in, it was so tough at the start and all the staff looked after her (and me!) and I felt that sge was so well taken care of. They celebrated her milestones and progress and took lots of pictures to keep me informed if afar are was getting up to.

Since Archie has joined busy buys he has come on so so much and the girls are amazing with both Archie and even ourselves , the management is also so helpful and cannot do enough for you, Chloe & Charlotte are great! In the baby room Marie & tash was absolute diamonds and grew such an amazing bond - such Archie has been in the toddler room he has carried on progressing and all the girls are great

Our 1yo little girl has settled in brilliantly to life at Busy Bees, Bishops Drive. We were worried she'd be nervous, but the staff have gone above and beyond to help her feel comfortable and safe there, and she very quickly grew in confidence. They plan exciting and educational activities for each day, and we regularly recieve updates and photos of our daughter showing us what she's been up to that day. She now comes home chatty, full of energy, clearly showing her enjoyment and the confidence she has gained at nursery, and her waking has improved leaps and bounds since starting. I couldn't recommend Busy Bees, Bishops Drive more.

Having twins is hard work and can be very difficult at times and when I had to find a nursery for them when I went back to work I was filled with anxiety. That was until we visited busy bees on bishops drive. The staff instantly made us feel at ease, and cater to all of our boys needs. They are child led and follow routines that the boys have at home which has really helped them to feel settled. I can go to work at ease knowing the boys are safe, happy and will be well looked after. Everything from nutritious food to well planned activities in the room and then getting regular observations and updates on the app of what they have been up to throughout the week. Everything is well planned and thought of and all of the staff go above and beyond and are incredibly friendly and helpful. We are really glad we chose busy bees for our boys childcare .

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Busy Bees Bishops Drive. Ever since we started there in January 2026 they have been absolutely amazing. Everyone is so lovely and caring towards my daughter.

Our nursery has been like a second home for our daughter through ages 2-4. The staff are like family, showing so much compassion and personal interest. It is everything we wished for. Personal needs are considered and we have found staff always accommodate anything we ask such as collaborating to improve certain behaviours. Facilities are always kept spotless. The food menu is exceptional and our daughter often compliments it. Her education has always been ahead of our textbook recommendations. The class sizes have always felt Goldilocks zone for us: enough to socialise well with diverse groups but not so busy our daughter feels overwhelmed. There are regular themed events included for parents to join. They put great effort to host new play activities every week sometimes daily. The staff absolutely make the centre a special warm nursery they're so caring. The only downside we ever experienced was high staff turnover in one year but they managed it well and communicated regularly.

My daughter absolutely loves it at Busy Bee's and is always so happy when she's there.

The staff are beyond supportive, especially with her additional SEN needs, and they go above and beyond to make sure she feels safe, understood, and included.

All of the girls are genuinely lovely, caring, and approachable, and you can tell they truly care about the children. The nursery has been completely turned around since Chloe joined as Director - the difference is amazing and the atmosphere is now so positive and nurturing.

Phoebe gets excited to go every day, which says everything. I also love how creative they are with things like space-themed events and activities. They've even created a dedicated play area just for my daughter, which shows how accommodating and thoughtful they are.

This is by far the most friendly, supportive, and welcoming nursery we could have chosen. I couldn't recommend it more
