My son absolutely loves going to Busy Bees nursery. He always comes home with a smile on his face and tells me all the activities he has done throughout the day. He has made lots of new friends and has formed a close bond with the staff that work in his room. All the staff that I have met are lovely
and i am confident knowing my child is well looked after and he is enjoying his time there. Highly recommend

My child started nursery in September 2025. The staff have been brilliant with helping her settle and building a rapport with her. Very communicative with me and my husband regarding her needs and any administration matters. Also very impressed with the range of activities they do in Bombos 1 and 2
room. She has come on leaps and bounds with her development since starting and seems to really enjoy her time there which is a joy to see!

Moved my son to this nursery in September and he absolutely loves it the staff are so lovely. He comes home every day with a smile on his face and has only excelled since being there. I love that they have things for the children to take home and do outside of nursery and just the overall care he receives

Our daughter absolutely flourished at Busy Bees, particularly in the preschool room. She made a close bunch of friends, including staff, and was always happy when she came out. We were well supported when we approached to ask advice about issues related to our daughter. The staff were warm and welcoming.
There were quite a few changes in staffing and management, once this settled it is clear that these are for the better. The graduation celebration was touching and really thoughtful, it was so lovely to see how much the adults have bonded with the children rather than it just seeming 'like just a job'. It's been a pleasure, thank you <3

Busy bees bishops drive has been an amazing place for our twins to learn and grow. The staff are the most supportive, caring and kind and can't recommend this nursery setting enough. We have grown so close to the staff members and entrust them fully with the care and development of the boys.

I feel that all the staff at the nursery go above and beyond ,expectations to ensure the children in their care are safe & happy.


They help make drop offs easy & stress free and always try to settle my son if he gets a little upset. They always enjoy telling me what a fantastic day my son's

had and tell me new things he's achieved which is lovely to hear & keeps me up to date with his progress.


The activities are varied & look very enjoyable as well as educational and I always love receiving photos posted on the parent app, they brighten up my day.


The food that's prepared each day is fresh & nutritional and it always surprises me what different foods he will try at nursery but refuses at home!


Overall, this is a fantastic nursery with brilliant staff who truly enjoy watching the children thrive. I'd recommend this nursery to anyone.

I have two boys due to start school in September (just turned 4) who have attended the setting since they were 18 months old.. from right back at the beginning, the nursery have been amazing!! The staff are lovely & have a close relationship with the children, the new manager is fantastic & nothing
is ever too much trouble.. along with quick responses on any queries.. the boys love going & have so much fun.. I know how sad they'll be to leave.. can't recommend enough!

My son joined the nursery in April 2025 and I absolutely cannot fault the nursery or the staff in any way.


We were made to feel incredibly welcome from our first visit and my little boy was so well cared for even from the first settling in sessions.


The range of activities, the care of the staff,

the amount and quality of the food that is offered is second to none! The app gives me lovely insight into his day too.


Developmentally I've already seen so many improvements in my little one. He's talking a lot more, he's far more adventurous with food and they've really worked so hard to get him drinking lots more water. It's been brilliant.


A complete relief for a mum reluctant to leave my baby in the care of strangers and incredibly reassuring that he's being cared for so well!

Could not speak highly enough of this nursery. As a very nervous mother of an only child being born in Covid I've suffered immensely with separation anxiety and choosing to put my daughter first to give her the best development was a very difficult decision for me. However after looking at various nursery's
busy bees Oakwood was the only choice. I was listened to and guided but most of all incredibly supported by all the staff. Special mention to the assistant centre director who not only has been an incredible support to my daughter but also myself. It has made the nursery experience a lot more calming and enjoyable than I could have imagined. All staff do not hesitate to comfort my daughter and myself if it's ever a bad day and don't hesitate to update me if I get nervous! I would recommend to every one busy bees Oakwood and everyone will be greatly missed when we leave to start school. I can only say thank you for going above and beyond for us.

My little one has been attending Busy Bees on Bishops Drive since September 2023, and we've had such a positive experience so far. The staff are absolutely wonderful-so loving, nurturing, and genuinely caring. They've gone above and beyond to make my little one feel safe, happy, and settled, and it

My son has settled brilliantly over the past 6 weeks into nursery. The whole team took the time to support with transition from another nursery. He has good bonds with the staff that look after him and will talk about them/ his day at home. It is evident how well they know him and his interests already.
It has been a big relief to see him settle so well and quickly. It has reaffirmed I made the right decision to move him nursery closer to home. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the managers are always on hand to answer any questions or give advice. They have become a big part of our support network and make going to work easier knowing he is in the best place!

We have seen our daughter grow so much with her confidence since attending. The staff are amazing and listen to any concerns we may have, and they really care. Busy Bees Bishops Drive have been crucial in helping my daughter to settle into nursery. The team are so caring and have really listened to my daughters needs and have implemented her interests within the room. The activities within the room are outstanding and you can see the progression she has made

The staff have been welcoming from the start and have built a strong relationship with my daughter and know her so well from the day she started until now. We have good handovers and we know what she's been up to throughout the day- we love parent zone and love seeing what she is doing and what she

Our child is always very happy at nursery and looks forward to going and playing with his friends. Every day we see the development in him and think nursery has given him a lot of confidence.
I do feel that since his key worker has moved on from the nursery, the level of updates and interaction has

My daughter loves coming to nursery. She has built some amazing relationships with both children and staff. Everyone is so friendly and can't do enough to help. I'm Chloe and I am the Centre Director at our Busy Bees Derby Oakwood Bishops Drive nursery.
Having completed my level 3 qualification, I have gained a wealth of experience in our Kings Heath nursery in Birmingham for 4 years from room manager, senior room manager, assistant centre director and now moving up to Centre Director here at Bishops Drive. Throughout my time at Kings Heath, I have supported the nursery and other nurseries in the area with a keen eye on quality and ensuring every child within our care has the best start in life.
I have a passion for ensuring environments are enabling and inviting, offering a range of learning opportunities to our children.
In my spare time I really enjoy going on walks and spending time with my family and friends.
