Overall Experience
Our son is 2 and a half and absolutely loves going to nursery. From the moment he joined at 9 months he was content and the staff at every stage have been great with him - he loves to come home and tell us what all the other boys and girls have been up to, as well as the adults!
The activities he gets to take part in are expanding his interests and skill set which is exactly what we love to see in him.
The manager has always been very attentive to any questions and requests we've had.

I would highly recommend this nursery as a great setting for any little boy or girl.

Overall Experience
It's a great nursery.
My kid is thriving there. The staff listen to all our feedback and concerns and address them with us, and they try their best to modulate things to every child's needs.

We have been with them through Toddler's room and now Pre-school.

A happy mama and happier child

Overall Experience

If you want your child to go to nursery smiling and having positive experiences in their early development this is the place to send them. My child is growing into a lovely little girl with all the support she receives here. The baby room helped her settle in from only 10 months. They followed parents routine with feeds and naps etc. She is now in the rising 2 room and is so independent, the food is great form chef Jeff and they have supported my child in potty training too! I highly recommend. The manager Elena is fantastic and if you ever have a question or need support she is happy to help. My daughter loves to pop into her office to tell her about her day and visit the nursery tortoise sheldon. The outdoors is my little girls favourite thing!

Overall Experience
I'm so happy with my daughter's time at this nursery. She's been at Kids Planet Breck rd in the baby room since Feb 2026 & she settled in amazing. She started when she was 9 months old & they've been amazing through all of my daughters mile stones.
All of the staff are great & you can tell that my daughter is fond of them all which means a lot to me considering the amount of time she's at nursery.
I get updates on everything via an app: nappy changes, feeds, sleeps. I get regular photo updates every week. The variety of meals and food served is fantastic.
I also love seeing the wide range of activities that she gets up to as its amazing for her development & also looks like she has so much fun.
My daughter's key worker Dee is amazing and I can tell she truly cares about my daughter.

I love how the nursery work with you to support your own routines and are great at communicating. Thanks so much to all of the staff in the baby room for all of the care that you provide I'm so grateful!

All the staff of The Kids Planet Nursery at Waterfront are genuinely passionate about working with children, providing them a safe and secure environment where children can grow, explore and develop.

Staff at this nursery are stalwart with effective communication, showing patience, empathy and dedication. They put lots of effort in taking care of children which can be seen. As a parent I know my little one is in safe hands. My little ones enjoy going to nursery and it was surprising for me to see him settled in just a week of starting the nursery. All this is because of the dedication of the staff working at this nursery.

Staff are great and you feel they really care for your baby. We get kept in the loop through the app or at pick-up. Lovely updates and photos throughout the day. And most importantly, our baby is very happy there.

My daughter has attended this nursery since September and it has far exceeded my expectations! The staff are great and I love that they try and get them outside as much as possible. I like their ethos of supporting families at home too e.g. sharing books and games for families to borrow

My little girl started in April 2026 and I was very nervous about her start as she was only 1 year old. She settled in so well and held her arms out for staff at drop off on the mornings! She has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery. The meals are varied and I would recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their little one. Overall Experience
We chose Kids Planet for our daughter following researching some local provisions. We were invited to see the nursery, and were impressed by the intimate, cosy setting. The staff were incredibly welcoming, informative and took a genuine interest in getting to know my daughter. Little touches like the children having their own blanket with their name on really blew me away, as it felt as though she really belonged there. She had a few settling in sessions, increasing in time each time and she did brilliantly.

She has now been at the nursery for a few months and we are still just as impressed as day one. She is so happy when she realizes where she is and all of the staff know her so well. Each day we are given a full run down of what she has been up to both via the app and from the staff on pick up. She has come on leaps and bounds with her eating and development. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the nursery setting is always clean and tidy. I highly recommend Kids Planet!

Overall Experience

Our eldest child went to a childminder instead of a nursery and we were worried when choosing a nursery that our youngest wouldn't get the same feeling of love and family that our eldest did at a childminder. We had no reason to worry, all the staff at kids planet have been amazing, both with our son and ourselves. Every morning he is so happy to go to nursery and often it takes us far to long to leave at pick up because he is just having too much fun, whether playing with toys, friends or just being a pain making all the staff chase him whilst refusing to put his socks back on. I feel very lucky that we have so many people that show love to our boy every single day. Thank you to all the staff, you do an amazing job and our little dinosaur loving dancing bundle of mayhem and mischief loves you all :)

My 12 month old son started around March, he only goes for 2 days.
He does cry when I drop him off, but he settles very quickly .
Few teething problems sometimes with food as he doesn't like texture, but the nursery have accomated for this and he is eating much better, yesterday he even had strawberry and cream.

I like how they always update with the activities and send photos, he always looks happy.

Kids planet is an amazing nursery I feel so lucky that we found it for our little one

The nursery staff are brilliant with my child, the app is a resourceful tool to keep updated with day to day events. This evidences and gives reassurance as a family member as to what activities they have engaged in, new development milestones and food/ nutrition intake.

My little one has been kids Planet durham since 2022. Throughout her whole time here, the staff have been amazing. I couldn't wish for better people to have been apart of her young childhood. The care they give her is brilliant. My little one loves her nursery days and talks about everyone and everything she does daily. Thank you for making everyday so much fun for her. She has created so many amazing bonds with staff and the children over the years and as parents that is all we ever wanted for her.

Kids Planet Shortwood Lodge is an amazing nursery. My little girl joined baby room at the beginning of the year and we have been really impressed with our experience so far. Lovely, large spacious rooms, including a sensory room, with good quality toys and loads of outdoor space. Our favourite thing about the nursery though, is the staff. Every single team member is so friendly and helpful and they really get to know your child's personality and look after them with such care. They are always happy to try and accommodate parents' wishes and always make you feel welcome. My little girl loves going in and I feel happy and assured that she is being well looked after and having lots of fun whilst learning.

This is an excellent nursery, can't fault all the staff and the setting.
From the first time visiting to our little girl now going there, They can't do enough and are always happy to have chat.
Adding extra days isn't an issue, they are happy to accommodate this if there is availability.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Kids Planet Cheadle.

Overall Experience

This is a wonderful nursery which offers an impressive range of activities, trips, learning opportunities and free play. I have two children attending here, one in the baby room and one in the over 2s. Both of them are love going to nursery and are well looked after by their key workers and other staff throughout the day. My older child especially loves the Power Up pre school learning sessions. Feedback about the children's days at pick up is always very detailed and the app is used very effectively to communicate with parents throughout the day too: all necessary information regarding meals and naps etc are uploaded in a timely fashion, and photos and observations are uploaded daily to inform us of the activities that have taken place. The management team are also incredibly helpful and friendly, it really feels like they know me and my children so well and treat us as one big family. I can't recommend Kid's Planet highly enough.

Overall Experience

My son really enjoys his time at Kids Planet, however recently he has struggled during drop-offs. One of the office staff has always been there to help me (as I have a baby strapped to me). I couldn't do it without her. Also, they are very accommodating when my husband is away for work and I need my son to go in extra days. All the staff are really lovely. We do pay a lot for food and consumables compared to other local nurseries, especially when sometimes dinner is sandwiches.
