My little boy loves attending nursery. He has built lovely relationships with the nursery staff, especially those in his room. When picked up, he is content and playing, always with something different. Whether it be singing with a staff member, in the sensory room or playing with his own toy. Pictures
on the app also show the varied activities he does. The app is well updated throughout the day for us too.

My daughter started at Kids Planet in September 2025. After having her in at a different nursery further away for the previous year, I was very hesitate to be moving her, but now having been there for four months, it was the best decision!
The staff and management are all friendly and amazing! My daughter
is very happy on drop off and pick up, and I the activities are outstanding.
The daily food choice work extremely well for my daughter as she loves trying new foods, and their menu is not repetitive.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare in Knaresborough.

Our little boy started nursery in September 2025 in the baby room. His experience has been absolutely wonderful. They have helped him settle in well and all the workers in the room know and understand him. Our little boy loves attending and we get regular updates with the fun and educational play that
they engage in. They celebrate lots of different events and make the babies feel special and loved. Really appreciate all that they do.

From the moment my wife & I went to look around the nursery with our daughter, meeting the various staff, we felt at ease
with kidsplanet knaresborough. Since having our daughter attend 3 days a week & seeing her development over the last year, we feel we definitely made the right choice. All the
staff who look after our daughter on a weekly basis have been nothing short of amazing & we feel, as does our daughter, a great connection with them all, having seen the growth in her all round development whilst she has attended. We also welcome all the support they have given us every step of the way to get our daughter to where she is now, whether it being advice we have been able to use whilst at home, connection with local services for support & their own individual daily connection with our daughter who has really enjoys being there. Great atmosphere all round & have sung their praises at every opportunity. You do a wonderful job & our daughter loves showing your her swish dance too.

I'm very pleased with your preschool. The care is excellent and I know that my child is in good hands. Very easy to communicate with everyone and everyone is very helpful. I see my child learning new things and eagerly going to nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves Kids Planet Knaresborough. The staff welcome her with open arms, her development has been second to none since I moved her there a year ago. I couldn't ask for friendlier, more genuine people for her to look up to. They are all fantastic at what they do and her love for
them shows how much of an incredible job they do!
Their genuine kindness on drop off and pick up settles your mind that your little one is in the best possible hands.
I can't wait to sign my 4 month old up ready for when she is 1!

You can tell the staff care for all children, as well as management do.


They understand about it dietary requirements and always supportive in giving ideas on how to help your child further at home

We have 2 children here who have attended since 11 months old and moved up through the rooms. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. Practically they cover the hours we need for work, they have all the options for payment/ free hours etc and they provide food/ nappies so it's as easy as
possible. Being part of kids planet is actually a bonus, lots more investment in staff training and facilities (aircon in all the rooms!). The access to outside space and the amount of time spent here is one of the star highlights of Barkston ash.


But beyond this, despite being a 'big nursery', it has the feel of a family run nursery. The staff know all the children and there is a real bond between the staff and children, they are so happy after a day here. They are kept busy doing amazing activities, trips and learning and have great food. The staff are honestly so caring and nothing is a problem to manage. They go out of their way to make you and your child feel looked after.

My 2 and a half year old son has attended kids planet from the age of 11 months. From the tough transition from mater it leave to working back full time all the staff have made it so much easier with how they cared for my son and kept me updated with what he'd been up to during each day. He absolutely
loves this nursery and has been very fond of each staff member as he's moved through the rooms. They have been so supportive of any changes he goes through and his vocabulary and personality have grown so much with the support of kids planet. I can't recommend them enough.

I enrolled my son into the nursery in September 2025 after a bad experience with another childcare provider. My son struggled with his speech and was very shy, mostly keeping to himself. 3 months later, he is speaking in full sentences, has friends that he plays with and talk about all the time and
tells me how much he loves his teachers. For me, this is the best news as I was so worried about how he would settle in. It's a very professional setting where your child is taught life skills though fun activities. Even though this nursery is slightly more costly than our previous one, it's worth every penny as you can't put a price on your child's safety and happiness.

My little boy has been going to this nursery for the last year, since he turned 1 year old and has been through 2 classes as he's grown and developed. I was so nervous to send my little one to nursery but I'm so glad I chose Kids Planet at Barkston Ash. All of the practitioners are so lovely and I can
tell that they truly care for the children they look after. They provide so much reassurance with the children's well being and development. Being able to access photographs (via an app) of my little boy enjoying all of the age appropriate activities and eating varied meals is also super reassuring. The children spend plenty of time outdoors, exploring, along with the staff supporting reading and activities to help their development and also supporting nap schedules.
Admin staff are also very helpful when required and always try to accommodate all our wants and needs.
I'll forever be grateful for them making this an easy start to our childcare experience.

My daughter loves going to nursery she was in babies room, then another room before going into tots. She started nursery in Sep 24 so has been there a year.
She gets really nice home made food, does lots of activities and the staff really do care.
They take the time to know medical history and ask
how y it r child has gone on at appointments.
It was always going to be this nursery for us she will go to pre school here also.

Absolutely brilliant staff and facilities. Our little girl loves coming here. Would highly recommend to anybody in the local area. Surrounded by beautiful green space so lots of good outdoor playtime and exploring to be had. Regular app updates throughout the day are great.
