Overall Experience

Our eldest child went to a childminder instead of a nursery and we were worried when choosing a nursery that our youngest wouldn't get the same feeling of love and family that our eldest did at a childminder. We had no reason to worry, all the staff at kids planet have been amazing, both with our son and ourselves. Every morning he is so happy to go to nursery and often it takes us far to long to leave at pick up because he is just having too much fun, whether playing with toys, friends or just being a pain making all the staff chase him whilst refusing to put his socks back on. I feel very lucky that we have so many people that show love to our boy every single day. Thank you to all the staff, you do an amazing job and our little dinosaur loving dancing bundle of mayhem and mischief loves you all :)

Overall Experience

Overall Experience
My little boy started with Canal House at 8 months old and is now 3 and a half. After a few months it became clear he was struggling in a nursery setting, and I can't thank the team enough for how they stepped up. They worked with me to understand his likes and dislikes, sourced a swing for him in the Baby Cottage, and guided me on getting help for his developmental delays.
Canal House have been on a journey with us, making sure early intervention was in place. Because of their advice, my son received support from every appropriate service very early on. Canal House addressed every concern and question with professionalism and care.

And the best part, I never come away from this nursery thinking about all the things Ashton cant do, because they let Ashton be unapologetically himself, allowing him to walk to the beat of his own drum, encourage him to engage in all that he loves, celebrate every small milestone he achieves and proudly tell me about all hes done that day.

What a nursery! Everyone is really friendly and so helpful, always give us a good break of the babies days. Both kids love it and can't wait to get in there. Overall Experience

Our child has had a very positive experience at this nursery. The staff create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to learn. We have seen great progress in our child's confidence, communication, and social skills since attending. The activities are varied, engaging, and help support development through both play and structured learning. Communication with parents is clear and regular, keeping us informed about our child's progress and daily experiences. The nursery is well organised, and it is clear that the children's wellbeing and development are a priority. Overall Experience
We have used this nursery for just over six years across all three of our children, with our youngest daughter still attending. Throughout that time, we have been consistently impressed with the care, support, and education provided by the team.
The staff are warm, caring, and dedicated, creating a nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe, and encouraged to develop. Our daughter loves attending and has grown in confidence, independence, and social skills thanks to the support she receives every day.

Communication with parents is excellent, and it is clear how passionate the staff are about each child's wellbeing and development. We are incredibly grateful for everything the nursery has done for our family over the years and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring and supportive nursery.

I cannot recommend Kids Planet highly enough! My twin boys have been going here for six months. They initially found it really hard to settle, but the team-especially Shammy and Anna-were unbelievably patient, kind, and supportive. Thanks to their amazing care, our boys now go into nursery happy and smiling every single day. It's such a relief as a parent to know they are in such safe, loving hands.

My daughter absolutely loves nursery. The staff are so friendly and can give In depth feedback on her and her day. She is always smiling getting dropped off and picked up and the updates we get really put my mind at ease. Management are really good and so lovely any questions and queries are sorted ASAP. Everybody is so welcoming. My daughter eats everything even vegetables (which she doesn't at home). I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son started at Kids planet in Middleton when he was a little over 2.5, having never been in a nursery setting before. I can't praise the staff enough for settling him so well (and easing my apprehension too!). His development in the few months he's been there is already apparent, and he truly enjoys going to nursery. The staff are warm, kind, and engaging for the little ones - I can't say enough positive things. We also really enjoy all of the little extra touches that the nursery provide, such as parties at special times of the year - Halloween, Christmas etc. I'm really glad we picked kids planet, and look forward to seeing my son's continued progression throughout his time there. A big thank you to all of the lovely staff for everything you do, it doesn't go unnoticed!

We are so happy with the placement for our daughter. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, caring, and patient, and it's clear they genuinely care about the children.

We love the frequent updates and photos on the app, as it's wonderful to see the wide variety of activities the children take part in and the different toys they get to enjoy.

A special mention to Shamny, the manager, who is amazing and always so helpful and supportive. We couldn't be happier with our experience so far!

Great experience enrolling my child at Kids Planet, settling in sessions offered and he was able to get used to the environment and staff before starting. All the babies seemed comfortable in the environment and when I was there, I saw they followed the children's lead in the free play and they we able to use the whole room which is a big area - lots of activities available. They sing and read everyday, as well as having weekly themes for learning. No issues so far regarding food/personal care/nappy changes/sleep & the staff team is small so appear to know my child well already.

Our daughter has been at Kids Planet School House for two years now, and we could not be happier with how she has grown there.
The staff are genuinely warm. They have helped build her confidence and find her voice, and the progress in how she communicates has been clear to see at home too.
We have also been struck by how carefully the team thinks about each child, and the key worker arrangements reflect that. A particular thank you to Merrish, who has been attentive and supportive.
A special mention to Shammy, who encouraged our daughter through her first swimming lessons. That bit of encouragement made a real difference.
The setting itself is clean and well run, and communication with parents is regular and easy. We always know how her day has been.

We would recommend this nursery very highly!

Overall Experience

This is the second kids planet setting that my daughter has been to due to myself changing job roles. At first I was anxious as this is a far much bigger setting we are used to, however she is enjoying the spacious environments and more children and team to interact with. The settling in process was excellent, from sitting down with the room leader, filling out relevant paperwork and leaving my child with the team for an hour- 2 hours for the first time. I was aware of how the key person/buddy system worked from day one and receive many pictures and observations from my child's key worker throughout the week. These are always an amazing quality and I always love reading the write up to also be aware of what my child learnt from the activity. The meals are always varied and sound tasty, she comes home well fed! All the team from reception, in the rooms to management are all so friendly! Would highly recommend.

Canal House is full of awe, wonder, excitement and fun, fun, fun every minute of every day from learning outside, to Spanish lessons and baking too. Dancing, singing and stories with carefully planned sessions and events for all the family. The staff team are friendly and supportive and provide learning through play at an outstanding level of knowledge and peer on peer support.
We as grandparents every week can see the knowledge, interests and happiness our granddaughter receives each session.

Our little boy has attended Kids Planet Worsley for just over 3 years! The care and nurture they have shown has helped shape him into a confident and well rounded boy, who is so ready for school in September. We have always felt very welcome and involved as parents, particularly more recently with the introduction of stay and play sessions and parent evenings. Our son comes home happy after a busy and fun filled day!
The Preschool team are fantastic and have ensured school readiness with their support, supporting independence and learning in a fun and gentle way.
Staff at every level of his development have been brilliant and we have always felt confident that he is safe and well cared for!

We will be very sad to say goodbye this summer.

My child has attended this nursery since he was 1. The care, friendliness and kindness of all staff has been exceptional. Most staff in the building know my child's name, even if they don't work in his room. They're quick to let us know that he has settled if he has had a bit of a tough drop off and they know his routine well. They let us know of any concerns at pick up and generally give us a comprehensive over view of his day. All staff are kind and professional and we are really glad we chose this setting!

My son has been coming to this nursery now for 2 years and it's brilliant. He took a while to settle, but can't fault them, he absolutely loves being in the toddlers room and is thriving! The staff are all lovely and attentive. I've got my daughter starting the baby room in September and I know she'll be in great hands. The two ladies who run the nursery Jess and Debs are brilliant too, since they've taken charge the nursery has got even better. Would recommend :)

I couldn't be happier with the experience my daughter has had so far. The staff made her transition into nursery so smooth and comforting, which really helped her settle in quickly when we were moving to the area. She absolutely loves going in every day and has built such lovely relationships with both the staff and the other children.

It's been wonderful to see her confidence grow and to hear her talking so happily about her friends and all the activities she does. The team are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing and development. We're so grateful for the positive and nurturing environment they've created. Highly recommend!

My daughter joined Kids Planet in October 2025, shortly after we moved to Manchester and following a short gap between leaving her previous nursery and starting here.

The staff have been incredibly supportive, informative and reassuring throughout. She settled in really well, despite a few expected teary moments at the beginning. Since joining, she has become more explorative with food and has been made to feel thoroughly welcomed.

A big thank you to the pre-school team, who continue to be upbeat, patient and welcoming while looking after such enthusiastic children.
