My child started in the baby room in September and he settled in so well, with the support of the amazing team at Butterfly Lodge. He now runs into nursery with a big smile on his face and always leaves the nursery even happier and I love hearing how he has had an amazing day. The staff are truly amazing
with everything they do to help my son grow and learn. Staff are polite, friendly, always have good communication and very professional. Couldn't have picked a better nursery for my child.

Since my daughter Sylvie started at Nook Barn, she has thrived in her development. Her key worker, Jess, has had such a positive impact on Sylvie as Sylvie took a liking to her early on. Sylvie is naturally on the shy side and prefers to stick with her adult and so Jess has worked so hard in bringing
her out of her shell and we as parents can see how much she has grown in confidence. Her crawling came along quickly and now we are working hard towards mastering walking. Nook Barn provide brilliant activities for the babies, that cater to their interests and aid their development. We are also blown away by how wonderful the food is. So much so that Sylvie always wants extra portions. We look forward to seeing Sylvie blossom even more as she continues on her Nook Barn journey.

My son has been attending Nookbarn for nearly three years now. He started in the baby room and is now in preschool, and we've had a consistently positive experience throughout.


The manager is fantastic she is always approachable, and any questions I have are answered quickly and thoroughly and always

ready to help straight away.


All of the staff are incredibly welcoming and caring, and my son truly loves every one of them. They have supported both him and me through every milestone, and I feel so reassured knowing he is in such good hands.


I honestly couldn't recommend them enough

Nook Barn is a fabulous nursery with staff who genuinely care for your child's happiness and wellbeing. My daughter started at the nursery in November 2025, she settled into her new routine very quickly and her development in confidence, speech and play has been amazing. It's brought me great peace
of mind knowing how content my daughter is and how well she is being cared for whilst I work. I would very much recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

We have been with Nook Barn for 2 years now, our son is in Pre school ready to go to school in September and our daughter is in babies. We love the warmth, care and friendly nature. We cannot be happier with kids planet fulwood! Our little boy loves all the staff and is eager to go. They have been exceptional in looking after him who has an autism diagnosis. our son has come on leaps and bounds here. Nothing is ever too much for them they have been so understanding and so accommodating.
Our son will be more than ready to start school in september thanks to all the amazing staff here. We are due a little girl and have no doubts of which nursery she will go to!!

Being my first grandchild and my daughter's first child we were all really apprehensive of sending her to nursery when my daughter went back to work. From the moment she looked around she was comfortable that she had found a nursery they actually liked. As you will all know it's very stressful for new
mums and for the baby to suddenly be apart. But all the staff have been so supportive and reassuring that it will get better as they are clearly so well experienced in settling in new children. My grandaughter gets upset when being taken to nursery but as soon as she arrives at kids planet her arms reach out to her Keyworker for a cuddle so that's so lovely for us. They keep us updated all day and my grandaughter eats SO well there, trying new things all the time. Apart from her clothes which show the evidence of having had a great time ! she is spotless. Nappies changed regularly with care. We are very happy we have been able to relax in what is all new to us thank you!

The nursery have been very accommodating with me and my family and have put a lot of things in place to help with my family and our children. One of my children is a school leaver and has been at the nursery since he was 10 months old. He's in the process of an EHCP and being seen by the paediatrician
which the nursery have put everything in place for which means when he goes to school in September hopefully we will have the right help and support for him. All the staff are very friendly and supportive with both children and they get treated brilliantly, both my children love coming to nursery and that's what makes me feel like it was the best nursery for us all. All the staff are very approachable too if you need anything they are always happy to assist when needed. Lovely environment lots of choice for the children with play, and crafts, and a great outdoor space including the Tipi. Overall great nursery and worth the travel too.

My son Harry attends Fernhurst Kids planet and has received fantastic support, care and guidance from all the staff. Harry has additional send needs which has been flagged and support by the whole team. Its fair to say I would of been lost without the staff and senco support charlie in how best to meet
Harry needs. Charlie has gone above and beyond to ensure Harry has the correct support in place from involving SEND advisory team to support practionsor to Charlie completed assessments and forms to making making referrals. I would not of know where to start a massive thank you. The forest school is amazing too. The chef lady Gilly she worked theyre for 16 years and cooks home.made food every day that smells yummy. Top nursery my daughter attended 9 years ago and its even better Claire

Our son only recently started at this nursery after his previous childcare provider closed. It was a big upheaval for us and felt very stressful to find somewhere new. Kids planet Padiham made us feel so welcome straight away, all of our questions were answered and they made the transition as smooth
as possible for our little one and also for us. He has settled in very quickly and is very comfortable with the staff who are fantastic at feeding back how he has got on each day. He is never in a rush to leave which fills me with confidence that he is happy at this nursery. Huge thank you everyone that works there for all you have done for us already.

A Wonderful Nursery That Feels Like Family
Kids Planet Nursery has been part of our journey since my little one was just 9 months old, and I honestly couldn't have wished for a better place for him to grow, learn, and thrive. Every room he has moved through has had an exceptional key worker who truly
took the time to understand him, support him, and bring out the best in him. Their dedication has made such a difference at every stage.
The staff consistently go above and beyond - whether it's offering reassurance during transitions, celebrating his achievements, or creating a warm, nurturing environment where he feels safe and confident. It's clear how much love and effort they put into their work, and it shows in the way my child has flourished.
Now that he's approaching his last year at nursery, I feel incredibly grateful for the foundation Kids Planet has given him. He's grown into a happy, confident little boy, and so much of that is thanks to the amazing team who have supported him

I cannot fault this nursery. My daughter has been coming since she was in the baby room and she is now in preschool. The staff go above and beyond. I've built up such positive relationships with the staff in the all the rooms and it's so lovely to walk in and know everyone and be able to talk about
my child's progress. My child is so happy at nursery and comes home with so much to tell me about her day. I also love that they let the children play outside no matter the weather.

My little one started when he was only 10 months. He settled very quickly as the staff were great with him. Now he loves going to nursery and always seems happy when I pick him. They provide amazing home cooked meals and fully halal too! The outdoor area is great and the staff occasionally take the
babies out for a stroll to see the ducks which is lovely! He has also learnt a lot, such as, actions to nursery rhymes, sharing and taking turns when playing with other children, his colours etc..

My little girl attends pre school, the girls are absolutley fantastic with her. They always have the time to listen to anything I have to say in regards to my child's needs. They put so much effort into my little girl and the comfort she feels at nursery makes me feel really relaxed. There is always
great communication too. I have to mention that Sam, Sammy, paige and Charlie always have been fantastic with her and they have created a bond with my little girl which ensures she has so much fun at nursery. I could not be more grateful for the time they put into her & the relationship with me and her dad.

My daughter has been going to Kids Planet Fernhurst Court since she was in the baby room, and she's now in preschool. The best thing about the nursery is the staff they are always supportive in a morning when leaving offering lots of support. They've been amazing the whole time, in every room.
There
is a forest school and more outdoor activities. The learning and extra activities have improved with activity's to take home.
The food is good and there's a nice variety which is healthy.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a caring and supportive place with great staff who are always trying to make things even better for the children.

Our daughter has been attending nursery since Nov 2025 and our experience has been very positive.
She has settled quickly and seems to really enjoy her days at nursery. She does a wide variety of activities and we have really noticed her development coming on since she started.
When she started
at nursery she had a restricted diet, which the nursery managed very well.
The staff are kind and caring. We feel very happy leaving our daughter in their care.
