Kids Planet Wetherby strives to give children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. The focus is on learning through play where children are nurtured and encouraged to take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

Parents are kept up-to-date with their child's development and are invited in for regular parent partnership meetings. A monthly newsletter, themed stay and play sessions and fun family events mean parents will soon become part of the Kids Planet family.

I regularly pick up my Neice and I have seen such a vast improvement in the nursery in the last 8 months. The overall feel of the nursery is so happy, calm and positive. My Neice loves to go and doesn't want to leave. The team are so attentive and caring and really do know all the children it seems.
If I have a child of my own I would wholeheartedly send them to Wetherby Kids planet

We have always been pleased with Kids Planet Wetherby since our daughter joined a year ago, but since the recent management and other changes to the nursery we could not be happier, these changes have really transformed the nursery for the better and my daughter is thriving because of it.


We are

so grateful for the incredible staff there, four staff members to mention just a few are phenomenal and make it a great place.


I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a nursery to come look here.
Our youngest will be joining shortly into the baby room because of how pleased we are with it.

We are very happy with all the recent changes at Kids Planet. The new management have made such a positive impact. The range of activities offered including trips is brilliant. The routine within pre-school is definitely promoting independence and we can see this filtering through at home. Our 1-year-old
has settled in really well in the baby room and this is down to the caring, friendly and approachable staff.

What a fabulous nursery. I cannot fault them. ALL staff are helpful, kind and I couldn't ask for a better team to look after my son. Their professionalism and time they take to share information on the app makes it all so much easier. I would highly recommend this nursery.

5 Stars to Kidsplanet WETHERBY!!!
Since the recent staff changeover, the nursery has been absolutely fantastic. The team are not only professional but also incredibly friendly and approachable, creating a warm and open environment where you feel comfortable communicating freely.
One of my sons has
ASD and PDA and initially didn't connect with the first staff member he was paired with after the transition. Impressively, the team recognised this within 48 hours and quickly matched him with someone better suited to his needs. That kind of awareness and responsiveness meant a lot to us.
Now, both of my sons are thriving under the care of truly amazing leaders. There's a light, happy energy throughout the nursery, and it's clear that every staff member is perfectly placed in the rooms they work in. We are thoroughly happy with the whole team and feel very lucky to have found such a supportive, nurturing environment.

A fantastic environment that really supports children to develop independent skills, and introduces "school like' conditions in a thoughtful, sensible manner. The structure and thought behind the curriculum is excellent, and skills and confidence are built and developed in a really thoughtful (and fun)
way.


The team is super passionate, and seem to genuinely love the children - developing really caring and genuine connections with both our children.


Every week, our kids seem to bring a new thing home that they've learnt from nursery - whether its an urge to bake, or paint, or a game they've played while visiting a care home.

I'm so happy we moved our children from another nursery 2 years ago to Kidsplanet, Wetherby. The staff are hard working, wonderfully nurturing, experienced and genuinely care about our boys. The staff have taken the time to get to know their interests and develop them, they include them in fun activities
within the nursery and the wider community. The food is what I give my children at home and they eat it all! And they have made some wonderful friendships which will continue after nursery life. The more recent changes made to the nursery interior and exterior are great, and show they are willing to adapt to children's needs and update tired equipment.

Very happy with the nursery
Daughter (2.5yo) enjoys it which is the priority.
Staff are happy to chat through the day, meals toilet issues, activities etc at pick up
Friendly management who are always there to chat.
There are organised activities (Forest school) and new activities set up in the
room each day which look like great fun.
We had minor issue with the billing side. After many emails it went quiet and despite asking for confirmation everything was in place for funding we never heard back. The wetherby manager was great at helping with the communication but could have been much better from the billing department.

We have been thrilled with the service provided since day one. He first started in the baby room and found it really difficult to nap which impacted his nighttime sleep. Staff created sleep plans to replicate what was happening at home. Soon enough, he was having 2-hour naps! Our little one also has
food allergies, and this was one of my biggest worries. I have been blown away by the effort and support the staff have given us! He eats no different to his peers, is never left out and they support us whilst we make changes to his diet.
His development has come along leaps and bounds and we are so pleased. He loves visiting the ducks and going to the local playground. The biggest achievement of all, is the amazing chef and staff have got him eating things that I would never have expected him to eat!
The manager is brilliant and always there for support and advice. Thank you for all of the hard work, effort, love and care you give the children. Keep up the good work!

My little one has been going to Kids Planet (Twinkles) since he was 10 months old and he seems very happy. There has been a lot of staff changes when Kids Planet took over, which was very unsettling for him, but generally that seems to be much better and settled. The one thing however I have given feedback
about since Kids Planet took over is the app is not used how it should be. I’ve brought this up numerous times and I’ve been told it’s broken or not submitting correctly. He goes three full days a week and I’m lucky if I get one nappy update, let alone his sleep/ picture. If the app is finally fixed then I won’t sound like a broken record and will be generally happy with the nursery.

Granddaughter loves going to nursery, the staff are lovely and go out of their way to accommodate us. My granddaughter has built great relationships with all staff members, which makes it easier to leave her there.

Our child has been coming to Kids Planet since October 2022, after previously being with a childminder. She has absolutely thrived since being at Kids Planet and the transition to nursery was very easy. She never has a day when she does not want to go to nursery and always looks forward to going. The
staff at Kids Planet have always been really fantastic, as well and genuinely caring for her. Every morning there are carefully set out and planned activities, which are set up before the children arrive. I would highly recommend Kids Planet.

My son has been at Twinkles Nursery Wetherby for the last eighteen months and absolutely loves it. He settled in straight away and the level of care he has received as he's progressed through the rooms has been excellent. Each of his key workers, as well as all of the other nursery staff have been kind,
friendly and helped with my son's development and built his confidence. The facilities are great, the varied food menu is impressive and they are very thorough with their practices and policies, especially when navigating through the pandemic. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone looking in the area.

All of the staff at Twinkles Nursery Wetherby are amazing. Both of my children have been to Twinkles Nursery Wetherby and have absolutely loved it. They do an amazing range of activities with the children and they have a great menu which has really expanded the range of food my children would eat. The
staff are brilliant, they are all so loving and caring with the children and both my children have never had an issue going to any of the staff. I can’t recommend them enough.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am a proud mother of two independent, thriving boys who have pursued their unique interests with encouragement and determination. Supporting them on their journeys has been one of my greatest joys.


Coming from a family of carers—including my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who were all in the medical field—I have always been inspired by a love for nurturing and supporting others. This led me to a fulfilling career in childcare, where I managed a nursery for over 12 years, from 2008 to 2020.


Having travelled and lived across the globe, I deeply value diversity and inclusion. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of different cultures and ways of life, which I aim to incorporate into our nursery to help children embrace the world’s diversity as they grow and learn.


My focus will always be on providing the best possible care and opportunities for our children to thrive, whatever their individual abilities may be.
