Very easy for my little boy to settle in, lovely ladies (staff and management) making sure his needs are met, freshly cooked food and plenty of entertainment and learning.
My little one loves being there and cannot wait for the next session.

I love Mere House since before Kids Planet took over. I had two sons over there and they absolutely loved it. All the staff is very nice and makes me feel good about sending them. One specially had speech difficulties and they were able to address it properly sending him to speech and language therapy.
I hope everyone gets a good nursery like that one in their life. Thank you all for the good job you do!!

Mt little boy absolutely loves this nursery, runs in at morning drop off and doesn't want to come home in the evening! The team are all fantastic, caring and informative. Choosing a nursery can be a daunting task but after one visit to Mere house back in 2023, we knew this one was the right fit for
us. The forest school is a positive addition encouraging outdoor learning and exploration.

My granddaughter has been very very happy at Mere House since starting 18mths ago. The staff have been lovely, the curriculum fab and their engagement with the children is wonderful, often taking the children out to the local park, supermarket etc.
It has recently been taken over by Kids Planet. I
have rated the nursery on the previous owners. We are hoping things stay the same.

Absolutely amazing nursery. I trust them fully with my boy who found it very hard to leave me at first, the staff went and still go above and beyond for both me and my son and I have no regrets sending him there at all. The staff are all friendly and are often taking the kids on walks or using their

Staff here are absolutely fantastic. My child has significant additional needs and they have adapted well to manage her care needs. She is fully integrated into nursery and is encouraged to join the activities they do. They access local areas and the forest school is fantastic for kids to get muddy
and just enjoy being outside. I have had brilliant support from the SENCO which has led to an EHCP and the appropriate school bring allocated for her. They really couldn't do enough for the kids here. Brilliant nursery!

My daughter has been attending kids planet mere house now for coming up to a year.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough! The staff are all lovely and very easy to talk to.
My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since attending and is learning something new each week!

My child has been attending the nursery for over 12 months, she absolutely loves it and all the staff are amazing! I love being able to see what she does throughout the day as well as what she's eating and how she's sleeping. She has come on loads in the time she has attended.

My daughter absolutely loves this nursery. She has a great relationship with both the staff members and other children. I am always reassured that she is safe and happy during her days at Mere House. Going back to work after maternity leave is always difficult, but when faced with my baby needing to attend a nursery (unlike my son who is now 8), I felt very overwhelmed and under pressure to find the right setting. As a primary school teacher myself, I had high expectations. But from arranging a
visit with the nursery, to the visit itself, settling in sessions, answers to many questions and one very happy and settled baby later...I couldn't be happier with my choice and the wonderful, personal care my daughter gets. I look forward to the updates on what she's eaten, when she's slept and the observations made on her - they're the best part of my day.
Couldn't be happier with the lovely welcome each morning she attends, the managers quick response to queries and the fabulous baby room staff who love and care for my child like she was there own. What more could anyone want?

A brilliant nursery, ever since my child has attended this nursery she doesn't cry going in anymore, is so happy and has such a good time at nursery. They keep us informed as parents with what they've done in the day with pictures and updates with what they've eaten etc.. honestly is an amazing nursery.

Great nursery with the best outdoor areas in Ashton. They have a wide range of resources for each age to provide a fun and engaging environment. There is a friendly and nurturing atmosphere and staff are always there to help.

The staff have been really helpful with my son, his speech has come along a lot since joining Mere House. He always comes home happy telling us about his day and what he has got up to and that he has been playing with his friends.

My son absolutely loves it here at Mere House; he settled in straight away. He is nurtured, stimulated and encouraged to practice his new skills. The staff are very friendly and support my son in the same way that I do; I get updates and pictures and he always seems like he's having a great time!

Lauren Marsden

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2016

I have worked at Mere House since we opened in April 2016. I started off as the room leader of the baby room and worked my way up to deputy manager and then got the manager's position in December 2022.
I enjoy my time here at Mere house and watching it grow from strength to strength over the years.
In my spare time I enjoy camping and my favourite place to visit is the Lake District, with my husband. We also have a little sausage dog called Peanut who comes along with us.
