Kids Planet Kirkby

My experience as a parent of a child in this nursery began when my now 7 year old was 9 months old, he has since gone to school and my near 3 year old has been a child at this nursery since 9 months old.

Throughout both children at this nursery it has stayed consistent, all needs met, staff members have grown up with both of my children and made it a second home for them both (even my 7 year old who no longer attends is welcomed and loved when we pick up my little one)

The nursery consistently updates the app with thorough details about the children's day, gives lots of additional information at pick up, provides security and a great learning and play environment, SENCO support has been great when needed & meals that my children enjoy. From the rooms themselves to the staff and office staff we have only ever had a fantastic experience here for over 6 years.

My only negative is the fact I definately won't be having any more children and will be sad the day we leave for good! :(

My little girl has attended since 9 months and is now 2.

She has formed so many bonds and loves attending.

She has come along so much with the help of the girls at the nursery!

The girls are always pleasant & obviously treat the children well.

Take a huge weight off as working parents knowing your child is going somewhere safe and having fun also!

Absolutely lovely nursery. My little boy has been with them since he was 1 and he gets so excited to go into nursery for the day. All of the team members that I have been involved with have been very approachable and you can easily tell how much they care for all of the children. They go above and beyond to make sure the children are happy and I'm able to go to work knowing my son is being incredibly well looked after.

So happy I choose this nursery all staff are great x

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as my child had additional needs and they tailor their care to fit in with his needs. The Senco is great here, really pushes to get the best for your child with additional needs.

My daughter started jan 2026 and has settled in brilliantly, she always seems happy going in and at pick up. There always seems to be lots of staff about and lots of staff in rooms and all the children appear to be happy and content which is a good sign! Lovely relaxed and calm atmosphere and good large sized room for the children. Would recommend!

I would 100% reccomend kids planet to anyone ! My son started when he just turned one and they gave me so much reassurance and trust to leave my baby in their hands ! They settled him in with settle sessions and i recieved updates all day through the app along with pictures of him. Whenever I have any questions they are always there to help. My little boy has created some amazing bonds with staff members and he goes in with a smile and a wave to mummy every day. Overall kids planet Kirkby is an amazing nursery and I would fully reccomend to anyone looking for a nursery.

All the staff are so lovely and make you feel comfortable you can message anytime on the app to check up kn your child which really puts my mind at ease isabella loves going to nursery she gets so excited now

We've had a wonderful experience, from the very beginning the staff made her feel safe and welcomed. She has grown so much in confidence, and we've seen real progress in her social skills, communication and early learning. A big thank you to the entire team.

My little boy started in nursery, on his settle sessions I was worried as he was quite upset but all the girls in baby room really made me feel at ease about leaving him when he started. He absolutely adores his key person & she had helped him settle in so much, honestly couldn't have thank her enough for helping me not feel guilty about handing him over upset, but now drop offs go smoothly and he is really enjoying nursery!

Beautiful nursery with lovely staff, my little girl started in the toddler room in january and the staff were so welcoming. There hasnt been any issues at all, They are a fantastic bunch of girls, my little girl loves it here that much that she crys to stay when shes getting picked up to go home! The food menu is great, all sorts of different recipes. I would highly recommend this nursery for reasons I have stated and so many more.

Kids Planet Kirkby has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff have been so kind and caring towards my son who has recently started, they have gone above and beyond and exceeded my expectation's. My little boy skips into nursery and can't wait to start his day. After a bad experience at another nursery I was very anxious and worried about his transition but they have been amazing and I am so very thankful. Good work girls!! X

My niece goes to this nursery and she loves it. The staff are so nice and my niece loves them, she talks about the staff at home and will tell us what she did that day. The staff and manager go over and beyond they make sure their milestones are met and they have the best day. Well done girls I would recommend this nursery as the care is the best and my niece is so happy there and feels safe.

Kids Planet Kirkby is such a welcoming environment, my little girl skips into nursery and loves spending time here, both with her friends and also the brilliant staff. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants to feel safe and comfortable with their children in nursery care. Keep doing what you're doing KP Kirkby!

My daughter is in toddler room and has been going to Kirkby Kids Planet since the baby room, everything was done to make sure she had the smoothest transition and her and myself were comfortable and happy to start full time, nothing was too much trouble and she has thrived since, she goes 3 times a week and absolutely loves it; she eats lovely meals and is always happy; all the staff are so lovely and quick to chat and say hello, this is the first nursery I saw and after visiting others it was the one we went back and chose. I'm really pleased with the nursery and what it offers, thank you to everyone as we are completely at ease knowing our daughter is happy and thriving at Kids Planet Kirkby!

My little boy has recently joined the nursery. I cannot thank the staff enough. I was so worried he would not settle in, but the girls are just so lovely and take care of him as much as I would. It melts my heart to see my little boy so settled. Thank you.

Well what can I say about this nursery. I cannot fault it, the girls treat my son like he is one of their own and that makes me feel more comfortable and settled going to work knowing he is in a nursery where he is loved and gets the help that he needs. They involve all the family at sports days any events for Mother's Day, Father's Day or even Christmas and Easter. It is a lovely little nursery and the girls deserve the credit. They go above and beyond. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Kids Planet since he was a baby. It's the best thing I have done as he has thrived there, staff are so supportive and enthusiastic. He has learned so much which is all shared through his learning journeys on the app. His communication has come on leaps and bounds. He thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and talks about it at home. I'm looking forward to his sister starting soon. The nursery is always clean, the staff know my child's individual needs, I have no concerns about his safety and feel he is in very good hands when I leave him at the door. He loves playing outside and this is encouraged with the open-door policy.

My little boy has been attending Kids Planet Nursery for 15 months now. He absolutely loves going to nursery, the staff care for him as if he was their own. I know when leaving my boy for the day that he is receiving the best care. My child has thrived so much and is hitting all milestones for his age. I'm so grateful to all of the staff at Kids Planet.
