Kids Planet Canal House

Our little boy has attended Canal House for almost 2 years. He has absolutely loved his time there and always talks about the fun things he's done that day. As parents, we feel the staff really care and treat the children wonderfully. Our son has formed very positive relationships with his key worker and other staff. They really nurture the his interests and give regular updates about development via the app or in-person conversations. The staff always take the time to chat to us about the day our son has had as well as giving us advice about how we can support him at home in certain situations, which we really appreciate. All the staff who work with our son know him very well and clearly take a keen interest in his learning and care. The resources and activities provided are always fun and stimulating, and the staff regularly post observations to his learning journey.

Fantastic staff, Janine is amazing with my lad, my lad is always happy when he sees her face in the morning. My son goes most days at week and he is always bringing home color sheets that I put on fridge.

And the best part, I never come away from this nursery thinking about all the things Ashton cant do, because they let Ashton be unapologetically himself, allowing him to walk to the beat of his own drum, encourage him to engage in all that he loves, celebrate every small milestone he achieves and proudly tell me about all hes done that day.

An amazing nursery which felt like home from home the day we went to have a look round! My eldest attended and now my 3 year old is there and he loves it. The staff are always happy to help and pleasant.

my daughter started at canal house since she was 2, and I couldn't be more impressed with the nursery. the staff there are amazing, easy to talk to and are willing to go out of there way to help you. the management are brilliant they have all the time in the world for the parents and are willing to help anyway they can. my daughter settled amazingly from the first time she was there and it all thanks to the staff and the attention they showed her. the nursery itself has gone from strength to strength the activities and skills that go into the planning so the children get an amazing day every day is exceptional. the outdoor space is so large and they also have a lovey area at the back that is used as a forest school to enhance the children's learning further. all i can say is thankyou so much to the staff and management there you made going back to work so easy with this little home away from home!!

Jaxon has just finished his time at canal house nursery after spending just over 18months there, he has now gone off to a school nursery. We as a family loved Jaxons time here, he was happy and content and always had lots to tell us when he came home. Andrew and the staff at canal house are very welcoming and will go above and beyond to make families feel at ease with the daunting experience of leaving your child for the first time , brilliant communication at all times, I would highly recommend this nursery.

Excellent facilities, my 6 month old has recently started going here and enjoys coming to nursery every day and absolutely loves all the girls in the baby cottage has a special bond with all of them and gets to try different foods since he has started weaning.

I can't fault this nursery at all, they are fantastic as a whole!

The staff and management have been brilliant with my two children since the day they both started. They go above and beyond every single day making sure that they are ok. I can't thank them all enough for the work they do.

Great nursery and managment team, my grandson thoroughly enjoyed his time there . Would have given more stars if it was an option. The meals they serve are great and he will now try different foods at home.

We came to the end of my grandchild's journey at Canal House and it has been nothing short of amazing from 7 months to 3 and a half years he has been there. Management are always so helpful, only at the end of the phone to sort anything needed with care and understanding always helping with extra days if they can, staff are always brilliant and you really feel like they care about your grandchild. My grandchild has developed educationally, ready for his preschool year now and also grown in confidence and has a lot of life skills leaving here.

Won't find a better nursery in Wigan with what they have for the children and the staff and people around them provide. On top of this it's always spotless

We are coming to the end of our child's journey at Canal House and it has been nothing short of 5 stars for the 4 years we have been there. Management are always so helpful, only at the end of the phone to sort anything needed with care and understanding. Staff are always attentive and you really feel like they care about your child. The outdoor space is probably the main attraction of this nursery, the forest school is a particular favourite of my child! My child has developed educationally, ready for primary school now and also grown in confidence / life skills and has thoroughly enjoyed going to this nursery. I'll be honest, we're going to miss it! Go take a look around if you're considering it!

Our daughter has enjoyed Canal House from day one. She settled immediately after switching from another nursery and has loved it ever since. She's made great friends, had great care and there are some brilliant staff who go out their way to make it a safe and supportive place. She loves all the outdoor opportunities and this has shaped her love of the outdoors. The managers deserve lots of credit for the way they go above and beyond to make this place so special.

We cannot recommend Canal House Nursery highly enough. From the very beginning, the manager and the whole team have been so supportive, welcoming, and approachable, which has made a huge difference to us as parents.

Our daughter started at the nursery when she was just 9 months old, and now at 2 years 8 months we can really see how much she has grown and thrived in their care. Her confidence and speech have developed wonderfully, and she has gained so many important friendship and social skills during her time there.

The team have also been amazing in supporting us through milestones such as potty training, guiding us with patience and encouragement throughout the process.

As our daughter now moves on to her next chapter, we are truly grateful for the nurturing environment Canal House has provided. She leaves with the happiest of memories, and we will always look back on her time there with warmth and gratitude.

They went above and beyond for the graduation and it will be a memory we will keep forever. This is a fantastic nursery and we would absolutely recommend
