Both of my girls have attended this nursery, and as my youngest finishes this summer, I can honestly say it has been an incredible journey for our family. The girls have learnt so much during their time here - not only academically, but through invaluable life skills that will stay with them for years
to come. They've made wonderful friendships and grown in confidence every single day.
What truly sets this nursery apart is the staff. They are, without question, its greatest asset. From the warm and welcoming reception team to the caring practitioners and even the lovely kitchen staff - every single person has made my girls feel safe, supported, and genuinely loved. The level of dedication, kindness, and passion they show is something very special.
I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. We feel incredibly lucky to have been part of such a nurturing, joyful, and enriching environment. Thank you for giving both our girls the best possible start.

We recommend Cherry Trees to everyone we know - and for good reason. Every single member of the team is so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. The activities are always thoughtfully planned and purposeful, and it's clear how much time and heart goes into creating such a wonderful environment for the
children.
From Lorraine and the office team, to Hendrick the chef, and to Amy and the whole staff, everyone goes above and beyond every single day. They know the children so well, and it really shows in the way they support, encourage, and look after them.
I honestly never thought anyone could care about my child as much as I do, but the team at Cherry Trees absolutely do - and that means the world to us. We'll be so sad when our son eventually moves on, because this place has been such a special part of his early years.
We couldn't recommend Cherry Trees more highly!

We've been really happy with this nursery overall. It took a little time for our child to settle in at the start when we moved to MK , but the staff were patient and reassuring, and it made a big difference seeing how much effort they put into helping our child feel comfortable.


The team are approachable

and seem to genuinely care about the children and that was one of the main reasons why we chose this nursery. We like that there's a mix of activities during the day, and our child has grown in confidence since she started. They encourage children to be dependent and work with them according to their developmental needs. Our child has learnt a lot and loves it there, especially outdoor activities and the little forest.


Communication has been good, with regular updates that give a sense of how the day has gone. The environment feels safe and well looked after.

We have had a wonderful experience at Greengables Nursery. Our children have attended different rooms over time, starting in Ladybirds and now in Caterpillars and Bumblebees, and the care has been consistently excellent throughout.
The staff in both the baby and toddler rooms are always friendly, supportive
and kind, which makes such a difference as a parent. The transition from our son attending another nursery to joining Greengables was incredibly smooth and reassuring for us all.
Most importantly, our children are happy and settled, which speaks volumes. The range of activities is perfect for keeping little ones engaged and learning through play, and we really value how much time they spend outdoors - in the garden whatever the weather!
We love that our children can see each other during garden time which is reassuring for our youngest seeing her big brother in the early days.
We couldn't be happier with the care and environment Greengables provides.

My daughter has attended Hertford Barnes nursery since she was 1 years old, the nursery is outstanding and made the transition of going back to work a lot easier as I knew she was in the best hands. All the staff are experienced, caring, reassuring and very professional in all areas. My daughter has
absolutely thrived since joining and gained many skills. Also a special thank you to Sonia on reception who is always at hand to help with any forms or questions/information I am not sure on. Stacey, Rachel, Molly, Colin and Carla are so lovely and my daughter loves them. The space/ location and food standards are outstanding. Thank you hertford Barnes for taking such good care of my baby!

My daughter started at Edwalton at the end of 2025 and we have so far been really happy there. She took to her room and key worker really quickly during the settling in period. Which was designed specifically for her needs. She loves going there and is very happy with all the singing and dancing
and messy play. She eats all her meals and naps well. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming from the word go and the admin staff are very helpful with any questions. Very happy with our choice. Thank you

Excellent nursery. They have taken good care of both of my children over many years. We trust them fully with our children. They are all wonderful and caring. They identified my son's speech delay which was very helpful and we could address this early.

Best nursery in Winchester by far. We have been to other nurseries however this nursery is best by far. All staff are very friendly, welcoming and supportive. Both our girls have flourished being here. Our 3 year old has great knowledge of numbers, patterns and phonics which she has gained from this
setting. Our 1 year old has come out of her shell and improved her speech massively which her previous nursery was unable to do. Both our children get excited for Mondays as they get to see their amazing teachers.

After choosing a nursery that didn't suit my son, I can't tell you how relieved I am in finding this gem. We haven't been here long, but we are so glad we moved him, he is thriving. From the start the staff tailored their approach to his needs. As a nervous boy, he needed extra settling in sessions
to which they supported him wtih patience & understanding. Now he comes home buzzing from all the stimulation & learning. We love the menu choice - healthy, homemade & varied & the fact he can access the outdoor space whenever he wants. The staff are always welcoming & I appreciate how open they are to parents visiting & seeing children in their environment. Communication is clear & efficient from all & app updates are consistent & reassuring.

Our daughter has been at Maples for 3 months now and the care has been excellent. The settling in process was really well planned and thought-through - gentle for my daughter and for me as we both got used to it! The updates you get throughout the day are really reassuring. All of the nursery workers
have great relationships with the children and I feel absolutely confident that I'm leaving my child somewhere safe. The children do varied activities and they're clearly kept busy. The outdoor space in the baby room is quite limited, but the outdoor spaces for the older children are much bigger.

She joined the nursery as an eight-month-old baby (in caterpillars), and when she leaves in the next few weeks, she will be three and half years old - a confident, joyous little girl shaped so beautifully by your kindness, patience and guidance. You have been a constant, reassuring presence in her life,
supporting her through milestones, comforting her on difficult days, and celebrating her little victories with genuine warmth.
As she begins her transition over the next few weeks, we are already feeling the emotions of this change. These final weeks feel especially meaningful, giving her time to enjoy the familiar routines, the friendships she treasures, and the teachers she adores. We are grateful she gets to complete this chapter surrounded by the people who have nurtured her with such dedication.
Hampstead Gate will always hold a very special place in our hearts as her very first school and the foundation of her learning journey.
Thank you for helping her blossom into the confident little girl she is today.

I am really happy with our choice in Cherry Trees. We moved to the area recently and so my daughter had to change nurseries. Every effort was made by all to ease the transition for both her and us. The office team were great with helping to figure out all the admin stuff and my million questions. The
welcome my daughter received and the support with settling her into the new space, routines and environment was amazing! The team in the pre-school class have been so great, showing such kindness and care as my daughter settled and they continue to help her grow and learn. We are always greeted warmly at drop offs and pick ups and receive regular updates feedback! Would highly recommend!!!

The staff and team at Cherry trees are very kind and friendly and both my daughters key workers have helped her both start at nursery and move up rooms seamlessly and she loves going in and all the activities she gets to participate in. The food she has is varied and she enjoys it very much! The facilities
at the nursery are ideal for her as she grows and also has plenty of parking for drop offs which is a massive bonus. Feel very fortunate that my daughter has found such a lovely place to attend Nursery.

We couldn't be happier with Westwood. My little boy started when he was 18 months old. The settling-in sessions were perfect. They made the whole transition so smooth for both of us.

Since starting, he has come on in leaps and bounds. His confidence has grown so much, and it's been amazing to see
how happy and comfortable he is there. The staff are supportive and genuinely care about each child.


One thing that really stands out to me is how well they manage allergies. As a parent, that was something I was very cautious about when finding the right setting for my little one. I could see from the very first settling in session I attended with him that they were taken seriously and necessary precautions were always taken.


They also regularly organise stay-and-play sessions, which are such a lovely touch. It's a great opportunity for parents to go in to spend time with their children and be part of their nursery experience.


I would recommend Westwood to anyone.
