Day Nurseries Owned by Childbase Partnership in Cambridgeshire

Both of my daughters have attended Edwinstowe and have thoroughly enjoyed their time there. The staff feel like extended family, taking great care and patience to help them settle initially, supporting and celebrating them as they flourish and getting them ready for school without pressure. There is a close-knit and warm family feel to every room. Multiple former key workers still ask after my eldest who is now at school, and my youngest already knows so many of the staff and kids. We've been very impressed with this nursery and would highly recommend it.

Our baby is very happy here. He's developed lovely relationships with the staff and clearly loves it here. We feel very safe leaving him here and reassured he's being stimulated and having fun.

I am very happy with our experience at West Cambridge Nursery. The staff is very supportive, kind, and they always make us feel reassured. They take the time to understand and support our child's needs and encourage him to make progress at each stage, such as speech, interacting with other children, potty training. The facilities are safe and clean, and there are many resources to maintain the children active and happy. The meals provided to our child are varied and nutritious. My child has become confident, friendly and he feels happy at nursery. I highly recommend this nursery.

Excellent facilities, caring staff and a very happy child, what more can you ask for? Super tasty food and especially Moroccan lamb and beetroot raspberry brownie.

Our son has been attending this nursery since he was 1 years old. In the past 1 1/2 years he has had so much fun at this nursery and grown so much. The staff are so caring and friendly even when we see them after closing when we are running around and exploring. We couldn't wish for a better nursery.

West Cambridge Nursery is excellent in almost everything. Professional and caring staff have been providing our son love, support, and teaching from day one. We feel so lucky to secure a full time spot for him. We find him being properly cleaned, fed and entertained. They communicate for child's clothes, rashes, temperature, socks and such little things but so important for new parents. Absolutely nothing to complain.

My wife and I are extremely happy and grateful that our son has the opportunity to attend this nursery. He started when he was only 9 months old, and the beginning was quite difficult for him. He cried a lot and found it very hard to settle in. Thanks to the patience, care and experience of the wonderful staff, the change has been amazing! He now absolutely loves nursery and is genuinely exited when we arrive in the morning. Seeing how happy and comfortable he is this means so much to us as parents. The staff are kind, caring, professional and clearly very experienced. We are also very happy with every aspect of the nursery including his learning and development, the food, cleanliness, outdoor activities. and communications with parents. We feel very confident that our son is in a safe and caring hands and we are truly thankful to the whole team!

Our son had the most amazing experience. All staff were welcoming and our son developed hugely during his time here.

Ryan had wonderful time in the nursery. I would like to thank all the staff for supporting him and helping creating wonderful and joyful days.

Really fab experience, out son has lived and learned a huge amount during his first year at Edwinstowe. We have an ongoing dialogue with staff, who show our boy all the care and affection in the world. He's learned sign language, and routines, and manners, and socialized and had loads of fun and engaged with lots and lots of people, learned how to do many things and interacted in many ways which simply wouldn't have been as effective had we not enrolled him. We can't thank Fran and the team enough for the care they take of our son.

We have two children at the West Cambridge nursery, our eldest is about to leave and start school. We have loved the nursery, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and management. They care so much about the children and work so hard to make sure they are happy, safe, learning and entertained. The environments and activities are amazing and the kids are encouraged to play and discover their passions and interests. From the youngest babies to the older kids getting ready for school, all of the children are wonderfully well cared for. The staff are such an asset and it feels like a loving family.

They even have air conditioning, which was amazing during the heatwave! Everything has been fantastic so far.

The staff are amazing, they keep us up to date with what our child is doing throughout the day using the app and provide us with pictures if our child has found an activity they are really enjoying. They are always welcoming at drop-off and pick-up, greeting you with a smile and are always happy to have a natter. We made the right choice being here!

Very happy with the nursery. Children are offered a wide range of activities (art craft, yoga, long, shine, cooking, game, with ball, etc.) They do have short lessons. The staff seem great with the children.

Behind all these are the staff. We are grateful for the care they provide, the warm smiles they offer us when we step in their premises, and have no hesitation to recommend the nursery to any family!

The level of care my son receives at the West Cambridge nursery is first class. The educators are so welcoming and engaged and everyday they are working with him to to improve his knowledge and skills. Their use of exploratory pedagogy to allow the children to develop inquiring minds is so powerful. The administration at the nursery is very good at community and understanding of circumstances that arise when families are navigating young children and working at the same time. Thank you to the nursery for such a wonderful experience for my son, and making my wife and I so welcome in the nursery community.

Excellent, staff thoughtful and attentive. Can't fault the nursery.

We are so pleased with how our daughter has settled into the nursery. The staff have really taken the time to know her, and there are many times when she comes home saying their names and so I know she enjoys her time there! We are so happy with the University Nursery at West Cambridge, and it is a huge relief for me to be able to leave our daughter somewhere where she is clearly so comfortable.

We feel very grateful to be part of this nursery community.

This nursery is truly amazing and always exceeds our expectations. I am impressed by the professionalism, dedication and care that the managers and the staff show towards my son and the other children. All of the staff are very thoughtful, reliable and communicative, and provide constructive answers to any questions we may have. Our key persons and others provide us with lots of information about his time at nursery, including details of physical, artistic and environmental activities, emotional interactions, friendships, mealtimes, sleep routines, and the development of various abilities. There are plenty of great fun and educational activities each week, and all the staff pay close attention to each child's unique interests. My son has enjoyed spending time with his friends and teachers, and he always comes home full of joyful stories. The greatest change we have noticed since he started at this nursery is that he has developed a healthy trust and positive relationships with others.
