We have found Edwinstowe Nursery to be absolutely exceptional in their care of our daughter. In particular I would like to highlight how well staff members understand the specific individual needs of each child, as well as the incredible work key workers do to make children feel comfortable when something is new or if they get distressed. Having now been in every room from Caterpillars through Pre-School, we feel our daughter has had the best possible support in her growth and development, as well as emotional support when needed, from everyone at Edwinstowe.

Have 2 children attending Edwinstowe and they both absolutely love it and adore the staff there. We feel part of the family and like our children are part of the nursery family too. Genuine care and interest is taken for our girls and we feel so pleased to have found Edwinstowe. It will be truly sad to leave but thankfully that's not for a good few years yet!

My daughter's adaptation to the nursery was incredibly smooth. From day one, the staff made a genuine effort to ensure Beatrice felt comfortable, loved, and safe. Her carers are fantastic - they are very caring, know her extremely well, and look after her with so much attention and affection. I feel completely secure leaving Bea there and going to work every day.
The nursery provides a structured learning curriculum that is very well thought out for babies. It never feels heavy or forced, but instead is gentle, consistent, and seamlessly integrated into their daily routine.

The food is excellent and Bea has eaten really well from the very beginning. She naps consistently and is always very well cared for. Everyone I interact with at the nursery, not only in Bea's room, is truly lovely. Edwionstowe has a very positive, welcoming atmosphere, and Bea is absolutely thriving under their care.

My daughter has been attending for just over a month, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care and support she has received. She is 9 months old and currently going through separation anxiety, but the team have made her feel so safe, comfortable, and engaged that the nursery truly feels like a second home for both of us. The staff have clearly put so much thought into creating a nurturing environment with strong safeguarding measures, which gives me complete peace of mind. The freshly prepared food is a lovely, and my daughter has been thoroughly enjoying it. Overall, we've had a wonderful start and would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for two and a half years, and we are truly grateful to be part of this community. She is always happy and excited to go in every morning, which says so much about the caring and welcoming environment the staff create.
All the teachers and staff members are incredibly supportive, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the children's well-being. They communicate clearly, treat every child with kindness, and provide a safe and nurturing space for them to learn and grow.

We've seen so much positive development in our daughter-from her confidence to her social skills-and we credit a big part of that to the wonderful team here. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and highly recommend this nursery to any family looking for a loving and supportive place for their child.

We have been absolutely delighted with our start at Edwinstowe Close. Both our children have been hugely welcomed by very warm and caring staff, and have settled quickly into the lovely rhythms of the nursery day. As parents, we have also been made to feel very welcome, and our engagements with the team have only been exceptionally positive and helpful. So, in short, we are very happy, and grateful, that our children can go to Edwinstowe!

Edwinstowe is simply an amazing nursery. Every morning when we arrive, there is a different, creative activity set up for the children, which makes the start of the day exciting and engaging. The staff are very attentive to individual needs. For example, our son loves water play, so they have created a dedicated area in the garden where he can enjoy this safely and happily. Whenever any issue comes up, which of course is inevitable from time to time, the management is always extremely responsive and supportive. Everything is handled with kindness and goodwill, and it is clear that the team truly cares both for the children and for the parents.

We also really appreciate the transparency around food and nutrition, with menus communicated clearly and parents being kept in the loop. The overall atmosphere is one of sensitivity and openness. Our son is now in his second room at Edwinstowe (currently in the Ladybirds group), and we continue to be extremely impressed. Having compared this

We have two children at Edwinstowe and cannot praise the nursery enough! Everyone on the nursery staff is so kind and they care so much about each child. They have done everything in their power to help our two feel at home and to learn and grow. Whenever either of our children has had any special needs, they have bent over backwards to help. Because the nursery is small and all the staff move between the rooms (though they are primarily based in one), everyone knows all the children and it really feels like a family. Both our children love coming to nursery every day.

I feel really lucky that my son gets to attend Edwinstowe. It's a really great setting with lovely staff and clean, bright and inviting rooms.

My son enjoys his time at nursery and has formed lovely relationships with the staff - which makes it easier dropping him off! I really appreciate the handovers and updates too. Thank you Edwinstowe Nursery for caring for my son and making sure he's well looked after.

The nursery staff are excellent at ensuring that the child feels safe and well taken care of. They go out of their way to have different themes every day to ensure the child is engaged. It is very daunting sending your child to nursery away from you, but the nursery puts us at ease knowing they are well looked after.

The staff at University Nursery at Edwinstowe Close (Cambridge) have been amazing, helping my son settle in when he was just 9 months old, and recently with his move to a new room. He has formed lovely bonds with the staff and he waves and says 'hiya' to everyone when we arrive. I'm always impressed that everyone we encounter knows his name and greets him with a big smile. He is very happy there and I feel really confident that he is in good hands. Also, being a first-time parent I have found the staff to be incredibly supportive and always have time to answer questions or discuss anything I'm a bit worried about.

We have two children at Edwinstowe. Our three-year-old has been there for a year having moved from another nursery (a very smooth transition) and our one-year-old started recently and has settled well. The nursery is fantastic: we and our children love it. The staff are brilliant and always thinking of fun and creative activities, the facilities and outdoor space are well maintained, food is tasty and nutritious, safeguarding and safety are taken seriously, and the whole nursery is well run. Some particular highlights for us are that:
- both children spend lots of time outside.
- we love to be able to go into the room to collect the children, see them playing, and get to chat with staff.
- the staff moved between rooms and got to know all children: within a couple of weeks of our youngest starting it seemed that all staff across the nursery knew her and were up to date on how she was settling in.

We strongly recommend Edwinstowe!

Excellent care, facilities and activities. Amazing, caring staff. We are very grateful for how well they looked after our son and helped him develop. Our boy really enjoyed coming here over the last two years. There were always really exciting activities. The doors to the garden were always open so children always had the option to play outside. Our boy made so many friends and liked all the staff in his rooms. We strongly recommend this nursery.

Edwinstowe is a true home away from home. The staff are always smiling. They have an infinite imagination and come up with creative ways to make learning experiences matching children's interests. They also teach them independence, from putting clothes on, to table etiquette, to expressing themselves assertively.

Edwinstowe nursery is a lovely place for children to grow. Our two daughters attended for over 3 years each, and we have seen the incredible dedication of staff. The development of our children in their confidence, their physical skills and their emotions has been strongly supported by the staff. Edwinstowe has become a family from home and we are very sad to be leaving as our youngest moves to school. We could not recommend this nursery enough.

Edwinstowe has been a home away from home for us for 5 years. My two sons have attended from 6 months right through to preschool age. They have been so well loved and cared for by all the staff. Many of the staff have been there for 10+ years. My kids love it there and the staff go out of their way to notice and develop their particular interests. As a breastfeeding mum, I appreciated that they always went out of their way to minimise the waste of pumped milk. They have been a source of advice and support on feeding, sleeping, toilet training and development. We have had a wonderful experience at Edwinstowe.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and satisfaction to Edwinstowe Nursery. My child had a great time here and I am very pleased with your education and care. The teacher is very concerned about my child. My child feels real care, warmth and happiness here. She also learned a lot of songs, can do handicrafts and draw pictures. The nursery does a good job in communication and keeps me informed of my kid's situation at the nursery. I am also very impressed with the teaching environment and facilities here. The classroom is bright and clean, with many colourful teaching tools and toys, providing a fun and stimulating learning space for the children. Unfortunately, we have to leave here due to relocation. My kid will miss it.
