Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor)

Both our boys have been going to Greengables from an early age, the eldest left for school 2 years ago, the youngest will be (sadly) leaving in August. Bteween them they have spent around 8 years at this nursery.

They both have benefitted from early years education by learning new skills and playing with/making new friends. Setting them up nicely for starting reception.

Aside from the odd wobble at drop off (which the staff always seem to help with by finding 'jobs' for them to do), they always are bright and cheerful at pickup and can't wait to tell me what they've been up to.

Greengables is a 30 minute round trip (if traffic is light) for us, but we wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else. The staff and facilities are amazing!

I really recommend this nursery. My child has been going for 5 months now and absolutely loves it. The staff are all amazing and so helpful whenever I have had any questions or concerns about my child. I was really worried about putting my child into nursery but they were really good at settling him in gradually. They also regularly update the app with what they are doing and photos etc. which is lovely to see.

My son has been at Greengables since he was 9 months old and now he is almost 4. I couldn't be happier with his experience at the nursery, all of the rooms and staff members have been so genuinely caring and he has a good relationship with all of them. His time there has massively increased his confidence and learning, I would 10000% recommend this nursery to anyone!

We couldn't be happier with the care and environment Greengables provides.

We were not looking forward to sending him to nursery but seeing how much our son loves to be there made it so much easier.

It's a lovely nursery.

When choosing a nursery for our second child, we only considered Greengables. This was because our first child had such a positive experience here, we wanted our second to have just the same. Even though our youngest started in a different room, with different staff to our eldest, he is being looked after just as well. The staff are caring, the environment is very age appropriate and he is well stimulated. He loves his time at nursery and we are very glad we made the decision to send him to Greengables.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for a little while now and we are genuinely so happy with it. The building layout is fantastic, all on one level, and I love that the children have access to the garden at all times. Each class has its own outdoor space as well as a big shared area, giving the children plenty of room to explore and play safely. The nursery is always very clean and the staff are approachable, friendly and truly lovely. The meal choices are great too, though I would love to see more than one breakfast option and for dinner to be served a little later. More flexible start and finish times would also be helpful, although the early start works perfectly for my work day. Since starting, my daughter has learned so much-new words, hand actions and so much confidence. She absolutely loves the staff and gets excited for drop-offs. Her settling-in experience has been amazing and everyone has been so supportive. We are really happy with the care she receives.

The team are absolutely fantastic - they've made not only our daughter feel comfortable and happy, but us as parents too. Everyone is always smiling, creating such a warm, welcoming environment. It's the perfect balance of care, fun, and development, and we couldn't be happier with the support and positivity they bring every day.

My child hasn't been at this nursery very long but since she started she has developed so much (some big and some small) and I think this is due to the wonderful environment, created by the lovely staff. I'm so pleased she is at this nursery and am thankful for the lovely nursery staff that keep us updated with key moments, pictures and constantly keep us informed and in the loop.

Our son is loving his time at Greengables. He has settled in so quickly and is all smiles when he is there. The staff are so welcoming and have excellent communication. We are so pleased we chose this nursery for him!

Amazing journey for my son, the staff from the baby room all the way up to pre-school have been superb. He's thoroughly enjoyed his time there, learnt so much and is more than ready for his next step into school. Would highly recommend Greengables, location, staff, setting all exactly what you want!

Our daughter started at the nursery in the Caterpillar room at 11 months old. Right from the start, we felt completely at ease leaving her in the care of the warm, attentive staff who clearly loved her and took great care of her. Since then, she has transitioned seamlessly through the various rooms and each transition has been positive. Our daughter has developed so much; she's confident and a sassy 3 year old who thrives in the setting. The staff are welcoming, environment is nurturing and most importantly daughter loves it. Each room is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities and the communication with parents is excellent. We highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a supportive, enriching setting for their child.

As a first time parent I was really anxious about my child starting nursery but the whole experience with Greengables has so far been amazing. The staff are all lovely and seem to know my son and understand his needs so well. They've been really proactive at trying to link in with outside agencies to help support his development as best as possible. I always feel comfortable dropping him off for the day and know that he'll be well cared for, getting updates and photos through the app is also lovely to receive.

10/10 would highly recommend this outstanding nursery!

I am an anxious first time mum and I cannot fault Greengables Day Nursery. They have made me feel so at ease. My little boy has only been attending for 4 months and in his short time he has learnt so much. The staff are wonderful, friendly, caring and welcoming. Trust was a big thing for me when you are leaving your little one's and I feel so comfortable and love the updates on the app to see how much fun he is having. This is also provides me as a parent with reassurance. When I first visited Greengables, I just instantly knew I wanted my little boy to go here. The facilities are great, clean and my little boy's confidence has grown in the short space he has attended. I can't wait to watch him grow and develop at Greengables.

Absolutely recommend - the nursery is fantastic.

Greengables is a wonderful nursery and we have never had anything to complain about. Our two sons attended until they went to school, our youngest started as a baby and moved through each room. The staff are so kind and caring, the food and range of activities and facilities are excellent and both boys went to school very very well prepared for their next chapter. Thank you Greengables, we miss you all!

I would certainly recommend this nursery and use this nursery again.
