Nature Trails Day Nursery

My son has settled so well into nature trails. I knew straight away from looking around that it was a top choice for us. As you walk each week you are greeted with the friendly, very knowledgeable and supportive team at reception. Including Louise, Georgie & Vicky. In the last few months my son has attended they have already gotten to know him very well already. The caterpillars team are amazing and nothing is to much hassle. Whenever I have had a query it's been answered straight away. His key worker allanah has been so supportive with him settling in he now reaches out for her when he sees her. I get a plenty of updates on the app including photos and videos, where he is very smiley in all of them! We have also already had an assessment on how he's doing at nursery and the activities and learning he enjoys. Any question about his routine or asking if we can try and adjust things allanah and the team have been very supportive for what is best for him. Very impressed.

We are in our 7th year of our children attending Nature Trails (between our two daughters) and we have always loved the experience, the staff are all excellent and it is such a nice environment for the kids. Special mention for Hayley who has looked after both our kids now and has always been amazing!

Our first loved Nature Trails so much that now, despite the distance from the school drop off, there was no question - our second had to go as well. All staff, from the reception desk to the kitchen are lovely and we've not had a bad experience in any room our girls have been in. We would (and do) recommend Nature Trails to anyone!

Fantastic nursery! The staff are amazing and truly care for the children. They always keep parents updated on your child's daily. They do many brilliant engaging activities and feed the kids quality food. You also get child progress and development reports and photos of your kids doing activities etc. Highly recommend

From the moment we enquired to our little one starting the communication from the nursery has been fantastic. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming and quickly get to know the children well. Whilst there during the day the updates we receive are detailed and the food is given to the children is healthy, balanced and nutritious - our little one loves it. We love the importance placed on children spending time outdoors and what really makes nature trails standout is the amount of outside space they have, but alongside this the indoor activities are varied and focussed on helping our little one develop and learn. We cannot fault the nursery and would make the same choice over again. We would recommend it to anyone looking for childcare locally.

Our son has really enjoyed his time at Nature Trails, made great friends, and thrived in the context of consistent and containing relationships with adults. The setting, and the free flow access to outside space is another asset and our son has really loved this and the opportunities for fun and exploration that it has provided. We cannot recommend Nature Trails highly enough!

We've had such a lovely experience over nearly 2 years across 3 different rooms. The staff are always warm, friendly and genuinely caring, and they always make time for any questions or concerns. There's such a calm, welcoming atmosphere and we never worry. The outdoor/free flow spaces are fantastic too. They've also been amazing supporting her speech development doing exercises at nursery to help and her improvement has been huge.

Nature Trails is such a wonderful nursery, set in beautiful grounds with bright and well equipped rooms. The staff are so friendly and helpful, many going above and beyond. My son has been there for 18 months since he was 2 and both of his key workers so far have been amazing. We couldn't ask for anymore. My son has severe food allergies and the nursery have been great with these too. Would highly recommend Nature Trails.

Nature Trails is an exceptional nursery, with lovely indoor spaces suited to each age/stage, and a beautiful spacious and secure garden with dedicated areas for each room and large shared spaces. Children spend lots of time outside, enjoying outdoor activities in all weathers. Both of our children attend nature trails, and both absolutely love their time there. We didn't seek alternative childcare after moving further away because we have been so happy with the care and attention our children receive. Staff - childcare and managerial - are friendly, approachable, and make genuine effort to get to know all children across the setting, greeting families in a warm, personal way each day, and keeping parents well informed. The rapport between children and staff is evident wherever you are across the nursery. Staff turnover is not high, but there is a good mix of age and experience (our kids always love the apprentices!). Overall, I would recommend Nature Trails without hesitation.

Florence absolutely loves going to nursery, especially being part of the Ladybird Room . From the very beginning, the team has made her feel so welcome, safe, and excited to learn. It's such a comfort knowing she walks in every day with a huge smile on her face and can't wait to see her friends and carers. The carers in the Ladybird Room are truly amazing. They are kind, patient, attentive, and genuinely care about each child as an individual. It's clear how much effort they put into creating fun, engaging activities that help Florence learn and grow while having the best time. We're constantly impressed by how much she's developing and how confident she's become. The back office team are just as wonderful. They're always friendly, helpful, and organised, making everything from communication to admin smooth and stress-free. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and it really shows how well the nursery is run as a whole. We couldn't be happier with the care and support Florence receives.

The food quality is outstanding and makes me feel that my child is getting the best for her development.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since 2023 February for 5 days a week and she absolutely loves it! The staff are always friendly and respectful and have unlimited patience with the little kids. Every day my daughter comes home with a smile and tells me about all the different activities they do. We are very pleased with Nature Trails day nursery.

Excellent nurser, we feel very lucky to have our child there. The team are so friendly, loads of updates through the day with a break down of food, naps and development. always available on the phone and always provide answers to any questions quickly and accurately. The nursery itself is in a lovely location and the are frequently outdoors which is why we chose them. A big thank you to the team

This is such a lovely nursery to have my child be a part of. All of the staff are so lovely and the support that not only my child gets but the support that I have received has been amazing. I love that they understand how important is is for children to get outside and I also love the range of foods that are served over meal times. Couldn't fault it so far, my child has been there for around 8 months.

Staff supported and went above and beyond when my child was struggling to settle during the settling in sessions, the level of care and attention they give is amazing. My child has only been attending for a month but so far I can't fault Nature trails.

Our little one has only just started at Nature Trails, and seems to be loving it so far. All the staff we've met have been very friendly and helpful. Starting from our first look around, throughout the settling-in sessions and for her first few full days there. It's reassuring to be able to leave her when she has a big smile on her face : )

My biggest tip for new parents is to trust the staff at Nature Trails. I found it very hard to leave my child who is my entire world. However the entire team from reception to his key workers have been so patient with both me and my child who attended this nursery for the first time.

I love how the team within each room really do work cohesively and they all get to know your child. They work incredibly hard and remain positive when dealing with challenging situations. Nothing is ever too much because they are honest but also very sensitive. They have high standards and the behaviour of all of the children is exemplary which is the kind of setting I want my child to thrive within.

I would not hesitate to recommend this Nursery to any prospective parents.

My daughter has just got to be in the nursery for 5 months since getting into reception after that. And we loved the experience. She settled in so well with the staff and other children which impressed us and shows the care and consideration given to each individual children in the nursery. I wish she had got more time there and I do suggest this nursery to every parent I know around the local areas especially if you want your child to have great care and development age appropriately with other kids. Couldn't recommend more. We have loved it and will cherish it forever!
