Best nursery in Leighton Buzzard. The staff are lovely and really care for the children. I feel that my child is safe and properly cared for and I like the updates through the app that let me see how he's getting on in the day.

I have had the most welcoming and informative primary carer, Tanya. She has surpassed our expectations as first time parents exploring a nursery settings. Tenie is kind, patience, gentle, informative and most importantly detailed.

My little boy has been going to Lavenders in the Caterpillar Room since January. I was really nervous about leaving him somewhere new, but the staff have been so accommodating, patient and genuinely caring - not just with my son, but with me too.
All of the team are so friendly, and after just a few
weeks my son was reaching out for them to take him. He's now so happy and smiley at both drop-off and pick-up, and it's clear he has built a real connection with them all. I also love that it isn't just the key worker who builds a relationship with the children it really is a whole team approach.
We recently received a report from the nursery and it was brilliant to see how perfectly they captured my son's personality. It really shows they understand him and are getting the very best out of him. He's very active and doesn't tend to sit with one toy for long, but the Caterpillar Room is so stimulating for him, and they regularly change the activities to keep things engaging.

We love Cedars! The staff are attentive, kind and can't do enough to help you. My son started in September and since then, they have helped us to support him through welcoming a new sibling, and they're now helping us with potty training too! The food is nutritious, and the nursery celebrate a multitude
of cultural holidays and festivals throughout the year. They have a huge outdoor space which we love, as well as planned themed activities for indoors. We'd recommend cedars to anyone!

Our daughter started here in August 2024 aged two, after we moved to the area. From the start she has thrived, growing in confidence and learning new skills. The care is excellent and we are always kept informed. Any issues are quickly dealt with. This is a place that she loves coming to and leaves
each day with stories to tell. We have experienced two prior nurseries and Cedars definitely sets the bar; we highly recommend it. Both keyworkers (Aurora, Mollie) my daughter has had have been excellent too: they really got to know her little personality and bring her out of her shell. She will miss Cedars when she leaves for big school this September, but we are all happy that her little brother will be joining shortly after.

We had a very good experience keeping both of our children at Cedars Nursery, our oldest son was there for 3 years and the youngest were there for 6 months. There was a good personal care for both children and they developed well while they were there.

Greta at Seabrook Nursery has always been loving, caring and especially nurturing to my daughter Ayza since she started at Seabrook Nursery. Excellent looking after my daughter, always helpful, supportive and very kind to us. Ayza is very fond of her. She goes out of her depth. She also helped look
after my eldest daughter when they used to come to Seabrook years ago.

My little girl started in September 2025 at Cedars and we could not be happier with the care that's provided for her. The staff are so friendly and efficient at their jobs, and so much effort went into my little girl settling in and now she absolutely loves it! Cedars is an incredible nursery and I
don't think we could find anywhere better.

I have sent both my kids to Seabrook and I truly believe the care of my children have been great.
I do have a few issues with the food and the pricing of the nursery however I have been told nothing can be done about either things.
For context, I don't think that sandwiches and wraps for toddlers
is an appropriate nutritious meal. Especially If kids don't eat it, It's a waste.
My advise is, If a parent complains, listen and adjust please. I know the HQ of Childbase manage these things, so hopefully this review turns heads about the menu.
Thanks
Reply from Becky Smith, Nursery Manager at Seabrook Day Nursery (Luton)Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We understand how important nutrition is for your child's development and we take menu planning very seriously.

Our menus have been carefully developed in partnership with a qualified nutritionist to ensure they meet the specific dietary needs of the children in our care. We operate a 4-week rotating menu that includes a wide variety of foods, and sandwiches are included only once in that cycle as part of a balanced range of meals. This approach helps us to provide both variety and the essential nutrients that support healthy growth.

We appreciate your feedback and hope this explanation helps clarify our process. For more detailed information about our menus, please visit: https://childbasepartnership.com/parent-information/our-menus/

If you would like to discuss this further or have specific dietary concerns for your child, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

My son attends pre-school and has had a significantly impactful educational journey. He is consistently sharing positive memories, new warning opportunities and achieving his developmental milestones with the specialised nursery staff. The room staff are experienced, warm and develop a personalised
approach to the childcare they provide to each individual child. My child has been consistently happy, safe and looks forward to attending his provision. Any concerns raised around my son are managed appropriately, feedback around his days and the participation and parental engagement is effective at all times. I would highly recommend this nursery setting.

We honestly couldn't be happier with our experience at Cedars Nursery. From the very beginning, it's been such a positive place for our daughter. She absolutely loves coming in every day, and the difference in her confidence since she started has been amazing to see.

Every room she's been in has been

fantastic, and each stage has felt just right for her development. The staff truly make this place special - they are all so kind, caring and genuinely invested in the children. You can really feel how much they love what they do, and that means everything as a parent.

She has made some lovely friends here and talks about them all the time. It's so reassuring to know she feels happy, safe and supported. We've watched her grow not just in confidence, but in independence, communication and curiosity too, and we honestly believe the nursery has played a huge part in that.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff for everything you do - we're so grateful!

Cedars in Leighton Buzzard are absolutely brilliant. My daughter graduated in the summer and my youngest is currently in Ladybirds, and our experience across both has been consistently wonderful. Every member of the team is warm, kind and genuinely caring, and both of my children have built such strong,
trusting bonds with their key workers - which says everything.

The thought and effort that goes into the activities is fantastic. There's such a lovely balance of learning, creativity and play, and I'm so grateful for the experiences they provide that I simply wouldn't manage to recreate at home. It's clear how much care goes into supporting each child's development as an individual.

Most importantly, I have complete peace of mind every single day. From drop-off to pick-up, I know my children are safe, happy and very well looked after. Thank you to the whole Cedars team for creating such a nurturing environment and for giving my children the very best start to their learning and play.
