Day Nurseries Owned by Childbase Partnership in West Midlands

from home and where our little boy would flourish. He is so happy when we collect him and the daily updates and pictures are great! It's the best feeling knowing we can drop him off and he will be well looked after and he loves his key workers. We recommend this nursery to anyone who is considering sending their children here.

My child recently moved to school after spending three wonderful years at Highfield Nursery. We have been extremely happy with the care, support and encouragement he received throughout his time there. The staff are very caring, friendly and approachable, and they always made sure he felt happy, safe and comfortable.

Highfield Nursery played a big role in helping him develop his confidence, independence and social skills, which has made his transition to school much easier. We are very grateful to all the staff for their hard work, kindness and dedication. We would highly recommend Highfield Nursery to other parents looking for a caring and supportive environment for their child.

Our son loves going to nursery every day at Highfield. Everyone has been very friendly, caring and attentive and have really helped our son to develop. I would recommend Highfield to other parents because of the great experience we've had.

My son was at Highfield from 10 months old until almost 4. He's had the best time at the nursery and the teams in every room have been fantastic. They've been kind, caring and engaging. We will miss Highfield nursery!

Our little boy has just graduated after 3 years at Westwood. He has truly thrived during his time there, each class has supported and developed him as needed, and mostly importantly genuinely shown love and care. We've always trusted their guidance and felt safe with their care. We're sad our time at Westwood has come to an end. The team are wonderful. Thank you.

Our son has made such great progress during his time at Highfield that we couldn't be more pleased. There's variety in activities from dress up, garden play, numeracy to artwork and mini athletics. He has been well looked after by the caring and attentive staff who has responded to his interests - they sourced some Thomas the Tank Engine books for him having found out it was his favourite! This is a safe and wonderful place for children to build their early foundations. Thank you Highfield team!!

I have sent my 2 boys to Westwood since they were just babies - the nursery is amazing! My little girl is going to be starting in the Autumn, I wouldn't send her anywhere else as my experience has been so positive. All of the staff are so attentive and caring, you can tell they genuinely want the best for all the children. Communication is great, they teach children to be independent and encourage their social skills throughout each stage. They really prepare pre school children for their transition to school. Both my children loved going to nursery, and I am excited for my little girl to be joining again next month!

I strongly recommend HFDN to any parent looking for a supportive and loving environment for their little ones.

Overall, I felt reassured

I have noticed that some of the toys (soft toys/dollies) are very loved and well used so may need to be replaced more frequently. We always recommend our nursery to others, thank you for all the care you provide!

We couldn't be happier with Westwood Day Nursery. The settling-in process was amazing and made the transition so much easier for both our child and us. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and attentive, and they have taken the time to understand our child's individual needs and support them really well.

Our child has absolutely thrived since starting and we've seen so much progress in confidence, learning and development. It's clear that the team genuinely care about the children and create a warm, nurturing environment where they can flourish.

The staff also make a real effort to build relationships with parents, keeping us informed and involved. Nothing ever seems like too much trouble, and we're so grateful for all the care and support they provide.

The nursery offered us lots of settling in sessions which was really helpful. The team were really supportive and understanding and put me at ease. After a few weeks my child was much more settled and the updates on the app combined with the photos each day has been brilliant. The team are very knowledgeable and always give us a detailed update when we collect our child in the evening too. Now my daughter is happy when we drop her off and when we pick her up. I am so glad that I chose this nursery as I can't fault it. The team are doing an amazing job and I feel completely comfortable leaving my child in their care.

Since starting, he has come on in leaps and bounds. His confidence has grown so much, and it's been amazing to see how happy and comfortable he is there. The staff are supportive and genuinely care about each child.

One thing that really stands out to me is how well they manage allergies. As a parent, that was something I was very cautious about when finding the right setting for my little one. I could see from the very first settling in session I attended with him that they were taken seriously and necessary precautions were always taken.

They also regularly organise stay-and-play sessions, which are such a lovely touch. It's a great opportunity for parents to go in to spend time with their children and be part of their nursery experience.

I would recommend Westwood to anyone.

We would highly rate and recommend westwood day nursery for the positive interactions and experiences we have personally had with them. They are clear and concise in all formats of communication, the opendoor policy that leadership have reflects very well within the teams as all staff members are aware of any changes and requirements for children. Any concerns that we have had have been addressed and resolved immediately. We are extremely thankful to have been provided with the opportunity to send our daughter to a caring and trustworthy nursery. We have had no issues whatsoever and wish to commend all members of staff and management for their high value of standards.

We have had nothing short of a positive experience since we started our nursery journey at Westwood Day nursery. The staff are so down to earth and have always gone above and beyond for our family. We are always welcomed with a friendly face and I couldn't imagine choosing anywhere else!

Westwood day nursery is absolutely outstanding! All of the staff are so caring, welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond. Our child loves coming to nursery and as parents we do not feel the need to worry as we know she is being well looked after and cared for, as well as having lots of fun! Would highly recommend the nursery!

Amazing nursery. I can't recommend them highly enough. Both of my children have been attending Westwood nursery since they were 11 months old and the staff have been nothing but supportive, caring, and reassuring to myself and my children. We are always kept updated on their day via the app and the staff give great feedback when we pick up them up. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the children at the nursery and enjoy looking after them. My children have formed strong bonds with their key workers and are excited to go to nursery in the morning, even sometimes asking to go on a weekend! I have no worries about leaving my children in the care of this nursery and know I will be given honest feedback on their days. The nursery itself is very secure and clean. There are constantly new activities set up in the rooms and my children love the songs they learn there. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Cannot recommend enough

I was very nervous about going back to work and leaving my child in nursery however I've never known a better team and just overall business that offer some much support, professional and genuinely make so much effort. My little one is in the caterpillar room he took a while to settle however the whole team stuck at it and adapted and just like they said .. it worked and my son is thriving! Sophia is his key worker and she makes so much effort to work with my son and contact me with any updates as she knows I've been so anxious. Louise as well has been fantastic. The whole group of ladies along with the manager Lyndsey the effort made to say morning and remember every child's name, being asked feedback so they can improve. All I can say is I'm so proud to be apart of this nursery and continue to praise. Any future children will also attend as I feel so secure, safe and confident with their standards. 10 stars!

I would highly recommend Westwood Nursery to any parent or grandparent looking for a nurturing and caring nursery.
