Excellent nursery. They have taken good care of both of my children over many years. We trust them fully with our children. They are all wonderful and caring. They identified my son's speech delay which was very helpful and we could address this early.

Best nursery in Winchester by far. We have been to other nurseries however this nursery is best by far. All staff are very friendly, welcoming and supportive. Both our girls have flourished being here. Our 3 year old has great knowledge of numbers, patterns and phonics which she has gained from this setting. Our 1 year old has come out of her shell and improved her speech massively which her previous nursery was unable to do. Both our children get excited for Mondays as they get to see their amazing teachers.

After choosing a nursery that didn't suit my son, I can't tell you how relieved I am in finding this gem. We haven't been here long, but we are so glad we moved him, he is thriving. From the start the staff tailored their approach to his needs. As a nervous boy, he needed extra settling in sessions to which they supported him wtih patience & understanding. Now he comes home buzzing from all the stimulation & learning. We love the menu choice - healthy, homemade & varied & the fact he can access the outdoor space whenever he wants. The staff are always welcoming & I appreciate how open they are to parents visiting & seeing children in their environment. Communication is clear & efficient from all & app updates are consistent & reassuring.

I was anxious to leave my boy with a care provider but the team at West downs have been so wonderful and made the whole thing so smooth and easy. My boy absolutely loves his nursery days and is always excited to arrive in the morning.

My wife and I were very nervous about sending our little boy to nursery, however West Downs and the team instantly put us at ease. From day one we have felt very comfortable and confident in sending our son here. He has been incredibly happy, developing and learning daily and we are chuffed with how genuine the staff's affection seems to be with him. We would recommend West Downs to everyone.

Raffey has been at West Downs since he was 9 months old and loves coming to nursery. He has made great friendships with children and the staff.

We have loved having our daughter (21 months) at West Downs. In particular we feel so lucky that the staff are so caring. After a lot of maternal anxiety with settling in when she started at 11 months I have seen her thrive. This is a huge part to the relationship she has developed with the fabulous team. Thank you!

My son has been attending West Downs since Jan 25. My experience with the nursery has been incredibly positive and reassuring. From the very beginning, the staff have been warm, nurturing, and genuinely attentive to my child's individual needs. I've seen so much growth - not just in confidence and independence, but also in social skills and early learning. The communication with parents has been excellent, keeping me informed and involved every step of the way. It's been wonderful to see my child so happy and excited to go in each day, which gives me great peace of mind knowing they are in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. I visited many other nurseries in Winchester and i am so glad we chose West Downs. The staff are truly amazing and it feels like we belong to a large family. I highly recommend West Downs.

Our daughter started at West Downs Nursery in January 2025 and we cannot begin to describe how incredible we have found the nursery so far. The love, care and attention that our daughter receives every day is outstanding and has really allowed her to thrive. She laughs and giggles whenever we arrive and she ends the day blowing kisses to the team and completely exhausted from her day of fun! As parents, we have complete trust and faith in the nursery. Their communication with us has been incredible, their updates, attention to detail and overall love for every child is so admirable. We already have our next daughter on the waiting list for West Downs and could not imagine her attending any other nursery. I would whole heartedly recommend West Downs Nursery.

Our child absolutely loves West Downs and we couldn't be happier with the service. The team are fantastic and did a wonderful job of making it a home from home for our little loved one. She's always excited to go in and always in a great mood when we pick up, if a little tired from all the fun! They've helped her grow and learn and she'll really miss it and everyone there now that we have to take her out because we're moving - it's going to be really tough to find anywhere else that lives up to the high standards that West Downs have set.

When my son started over a year ago the team were very comforting and encouraging. Since transition to Bumblebees he has connected with his key person who has supported him well through the curriculum. When I pick him up is enjoys telling me all the things he has done during the day, from arts and crafts to climbing trees in the forest.

Such a lovely nursery who has welcomed my son with kindness. He is learning loads and the breadth of activities is huge including cooking on a weekly basis. Lovely staff who my son love. Thank you.

Our son has been part for the west downs family for nearly four years. In this time we have been grateful beyond words for their care and kindness as well as their dedication to meaningful early years education. Our son is a bright but anxious boy and has had times where it has been really hard for him to regulate his behaviour. They have gone above and beyond to create a safe and stimulating environment that is allowing him to thrive. We will miss them all so much when he goes to school in September.

West Downs has done an amazing job at looking after my two kids. The nursery has a lovely family feel to it where all the staff know the children even if they are not in their particular room. They make a real effort to get to know each child and do so many interesting activities with them - my kids learn so much there. All of the team are always really engaged with the children.

We cannot rate West Downs highly enough. The standard of care and attentiveness shown to our son has been second to none. He is so happy at nursery and so fond of the staff in his room. He has formed genuine connections with so many of the adults as well as making some wonderful friends in his room. The food is second to none, the environment is incredible and recently very well upgraded, and the all inclusive provision and opening hours make it such a fantastic package. Our son is absolutely thriving and has learnt so much at West Downs, and the communication between nursery & home is great so we can really reinforce his learning. We are so happy we chose West Downs!

West Downs is an outstanding nursery and I couldn't be happier leaving my son in their care. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The facilities at the nursery are great and my son does a range of activities. Whenever I pick my son up he is always happy playing outside.

My daughter has been at West Downs for nearly three years now, and we've been really happy with the care and the staff. She enjoys nursery and has fun and varied experiences there. The team have been flexible regarding when she moves rooms, which has been helpful to us. Overall I would recommend West Downs. Thank you!
