Our daughter started at nursery on the green in June 2024 after we had a bad experience at a nursery closer to home. I had a week before I returned to work so was in a panic trying to find a new nursery. I spoke to Carli and she fitted us in for a visit that day and I knew instantly that it was the right place for us. The team were so welcoming and reassuring. Their compassion and flexibility in those early weeks was really appreciated. We have moved from the baby room all the way through to pre-school and our daughter has loved every minute of her time here. There are too many members of staff to name - they have all been fantastic and she will miss them all so, so much. The staff are so caring and I've always felt confident that she is happy and well looked after when I leave in the morning. The setting itself is fantastic with so much more room (particularly the garden) than any of the nurseries we viewed closer to home - well worth the drive from Harpenden!

Our son loves attending Highbury Lodge, he's always excited to go and arrives home really happy. The staff are lovely, genuinely caring and supportive of the children and the communication home is good. They do a great range of activities and we regularly notice improvement in our son's development, skills and confidence.

We truly believe that our son is loved and cared for at Highbury - it shows in how happy he is to go there, and how well he has developed since attending the nursery. The staff know each child well and take care to meet their individual needs. They also do a terrific job at instilling healthy social behaviours with gentle guidance. The curriculum the nursery follows has helped our son develop his motor, social, and reasoning skills beyond our expectations. And lastly, the kitchen staff serve delicious and varied meals, taking great care of the children's nutrition. I could not recommend Highbury enough - a 'home away from home' for our little one is such a reassurance to full-time working parents.

Highbury Lodge is a fantastic nursery. The staff are excellent at what they do and they create an exciting, varied, safe and caring environment for my child to thrive in. The garden facilities are incredible for all age groups and the catering is to a high standard. I can't recommend them enough!

Hertford Barns has made the transition into nursery life so much easier than anticipated. It is full of welcoming, friendly staff who go above and beyond while making us feel at ease with leaving our child in their care. There are lots of activities to enhance the children's experience, broadening imagination and learning to play with others, all while taking our lead with daily routines etc. The food is always varied and facilities are great - especially the ducks and lambs! Our child is happy here and it's been a reassuring environment for us as parents.

We couldn't be happier with Hertford Barns. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about the children. Our daughter absolutely loves going! The food is fantastic with a great variety, and we've seen her come on leaps and bounds since she started. We highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment.

We've been extremely impressed with every aspect of Hertford Barns. The facilities are excellent, and the team consistently goes above and beyond. Our son has attended for well over a year and has progressed through two different rooms during that time. Across the entire nursery, every member of staff has been knowledgeable, supportive, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We're confident we made an excellent choice with Hertford Barns.

It's so reassuring to know our child is in such caring and capable hands every day. We would highly recommend this nursery to any family.

My son has been in River View Nursery from the age of 1 year old. Now he's almost 4 and starting school in September. From beginning to the end we had an amazing experience with the nursery. He's always having so much fun and learning so much, I wouldn't ever be able to teach him all of this at home. The staff are so friendly and competent. We know already that we will miss the nursery dearly once the school starts.

We cannot speak more highly of Nursery on the Green. Our son has been at the nursery since Dec 2024 - joining in the caterpillars room. The staff in caterpillars - especially Becca & Shannon put a huge amount of effort into both supporting my son settle to nursery life. He struggled to settle & they put so much care into him. When it was his turn to move rooms they made this so gentle and supportive for our son so he went to the next room with so much care - something we have heard doesn't always happen in other nurseries. Now in the Ladybird room the last year he has come on leaps and bounds developmentally. To shout out Gracie in the Ladybird room is a must. Children are so happy to see her every morning, her unbelievable amount of care, focus and consideration of helping my son achieve his goals has been second to none. Amy & Emily alongside Gracie are also incredible + Carli the Manager is the most organised, approachable, knowledgeable lady - 5 stars for this amazing team.

It is a truly wonderful nursery, I will be very sad when my son leaves for School in the Summer

I was really nervous putting my son into a nursery but after visiting Hertford Barns we felt at ease straight away. We absolutely love his nursery and as does he - he gets so excited to see all the staff and talks about them at home. Everyone is really friendly, the space itself is lovely and my son always comes home having learnt something new. We cannot fault it at all - 5 stars from us!

Grasshoppers St Albans is excellent! The staff are brilliant, the care and education is fantastic and our child has had a great time and made lots of friends. Our child will be tranfering to primary school in September and the experience she has had at grasshoppers has prepared her very well indeed. Thank you to the entire team for all their very hard work!

Grasshoppers day nursery is an very excellent place for children. All the staff lovely, kind always greet parents with smiles, creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. I also pleased to share that my daughter settled in beautifuly and always comes home with a big smile! showing her growing confidence! Thank Grasshoppers team for making such a lovely environment!

Grasshoppers provides excellent care, support and learning for my child. They really show genuine care for my child and my child values all the staff and their key worker. My child enjoys prime time activities, the garden area and the facilities. They focus on promoting learning and encouraging good communication and good choices.
