Cherry Trees is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art nursery on the Cranfield University site.

Providing large spacious rooms and a fantastic garden, children’s imaginations are inspired on a daily basis by the established and experienced practitioners.

Cherry Trees also offer the extracurricular activity of Starshine Yoga every other Monday and Tiny Mites music on a Thursday.

A fully inclusive service is provided to all families offering a convenient service.

We recommend Cherry Trees to everyone we know - and for good reason. Every single member of the team is so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. The activities are always thoughtfully planned and purposeful, and it's clear how much time and heart goes into creating such a wonderful environment for the
children.
From Lorraine and the office team, to Hendrick the chef, and to Amy and the whole staff, everyone goes above and beyond every single day. They know the children so well, and it really shows in the way they support, encourage, and look after them.
I honestly never thought anyone could care about my child as much as I do, but the team at Cherry Trees absolutely do - and that means the world to us. We'll be so sad when our son eventually moves on, because this place has been such a special part of his early years.
We couldn't recommend Cherry Trees more highly!

I am really happy with our choice in Cherry Trees. We moved to the area recently and so my daughter had to change nurseries. Every effort was made by all to ease the transition for both her and us. The office team were great with helping to figure out all the admin stuff and my million questions. The
welcome my daughter received and the support with settling her into the new space, routines and environment was amazing! The team in the pre-school class have been so great, showing such kindness and care as my daughter settled and they continue to help her grow and learn. We are always greeted warmly at drop offs and pick ups and receive regular updates feedback! Would highly recommend!!!

The staff and team at Cherry trees are very kind and friendly and both my daughters key workers have helped her both start at nursery and move up rooms seamlessly and she loves going in and all the activities she gets to participate in. The food she has is varied and she enjoys it very much! The facilities
at the nursery are ideal for her as she grows and also has plenty of parking for drop offs which is a massive bonus. Feel very fortunate that my daughter has found such a lovely place to attend Nursery.

Overall the quality and care that is provided to both my children is fantastic. The staff are totally engaged in helping the children develop, they always keep us updated with what they've been up to, what they need to work on outside of nursery and we can really see the impact thats had. Both my children
attend the nursery and absolutely love it. They've built friendships and lovely connections with their key workers which is always great to see.


The layout and cleanliness of the nursery is also fantastic. Its bright, welcoming and just a great environment for the children to be in. I've also been impressed with the variety of meals they get which has really helped my children to try new things that they wouldn't usually try at home.

My child has been at the nursery for a year and he has loved every minute. He has grown in confidence, learnt so much and had some amazing experiences. He really enjoys the football coach who comes in every two weeks and the yoga teacher!
The staff are easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Communication
is clear and I receive regular updates about my child, and the weekly newsletter keeps you in the loop on what is happening, plus has resources to explore.
The food is healthy, delicious and varied. They provide a wide selection of meals so the children can explore new food.
The staff are caring, warm and put the children first. I am gutted my child is leaving for school as I know both he and I will miss the nursery!

We've had a brilliant experience with Cherry Tree Nursery. Our little boy, has settled in so well, which has been a huge reassurance for us as parents. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Communication is always fast and clear and we receive regular updates about our son's day,
including meals and naps. The office staff are also fantastic-responses are always speedy, helpful, and informative, which really puts our minds at ease.


The nursery environment is clean, bright, and thoughtfully set up with a wide range of engaging, age-appropriate activities. It's clear that the team genuinely care about the children and work hard to create a warm, supportive atmosphere.


He always seems happy when we drop him off and pick him up, and it's lovely to see how comfortable he feels there. We're so glad we chose Cherry Tree and would happily recommend it to other families looking for a high-quality, nurturing setting.

We would like to thank to Cherry Trees Day Cranfield nursery staff for the support given to us during the last couple of years with both of our kids.
We are amazed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff from Cherry Tree Nursery in Cranfield.
We are very pleased with the progress made with

Special thanks to one staff member in particular (for always listening and supporting), to a staff member in Ladybirds room for being so dedicated and lovely, to another member of staff (ex Bumblebee room) for patience and support, to another member of staff (now Ladybirds) for her kindness and another member of staff (pre-school) for being lovely, patient and kind and to the cook for the best food ever.

Our son has been attending this nursery since he was 11 weeks old and we couldn't be happier. The staff are wonderful-caring, attentive and always make him feel safe and loved. Now that he's one, he loves coming every day, excited to see his friends and explore new activities. Communication is great

My daughter attended the nursery from one year old up to a few days before starting school. She progressed so well, under the care of some excellent staff. The preschool room in particular really challenged and prepared her for school. Her younger brother is now there and doing equally as well. The
staff are great at engaging with their individual interests. He is well settled and looked after, having made strong connections with the staff. Would highly recommend.

Our daughter is 2 and has started nursery for the first time. I was extremely nervous about how it would go but I needn't have been. Cherry Trees Day Nursery have been communicative, supportive, responsive and empathetic. My daughter is already thriving in the environment and we can see massive positive
changes in her. Special mention for the staff in Bumblebees room who not only transitioned my daughter into nursery incredibly patiently and kindly, but also supported me with my endless questions and allowed me to feel all the feelings of a mum leaving her baby for the first time!

I have 2 children attending the nursery. Both receive consistent and excellent care. I feel that their needs are met and staff are always on hand to assist with queries and give an accurate report of the day.
We recently had a situation where I needed to enroll my youngest a month earlier than planned
and the nursery got us all sorted out in terms of settle sessions and admin, which was a great help to us.
My oldest always reports on all the lovely activities he has taken part in when he comes home. He really looks forward to coming to nursery so thank you so much to the team for providing excellent care.

Our son is having his settling-in sessions to start nursery in October, and what a lovely experience it has been. The staff from all stages are great, very friendly, and make you all feel at home.

We absolutely love Cherry Trees Day Nursery, it’s reassuring to know our daughter is cared for by the best. We had used another setting nearby and the difference is outstanding. It’s very comforting to know she’s welcomed with open arms each morning and that she has lots of different activities to do
to encourage her development.
All of the staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming, but especially two members of staff in particular for going above and beyond in helping to settle our daughter in.

Amy is the Manager of Cherry Trees Day Nursery in Cranfield and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector since 1994. Amy has numerous qualifications, such as a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, BTEC and SEND training and has worked for Childbase since March 2010.


What is your favourite feature of Cherry Trees?
The open spacious rooms, as well as the atrium, which is a communal space where all age groups can learn and explore together.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
From when we made the move from our smaller nursery building to our current purpose-built eco setting, the transition was flawless and was followed by a huge growth in occupancy. My team are just amazing; although we have grown over the years by double, we've never lost the 'family feel'. Everyone is so positive and caring towards each other, and recent events have shown just what a united team we are. Everyone is keen to play their part and contribute to our success in whatever form that might present itself. Most recently, it has been about adapting to huge changes, and they have done it so well that I'm very proud to be a part of their team.
