We have had an extremely positive experience throughout our four years at Berryfields Day Nursery. Our daughter has been exceptionally well cared for, supported and encouraged throughout her time there, and we have seen her grow into a confident, happy and independent little girl.

We are particularly impressed with the progress she has made during her time at Berryfields. She has developed a strong foundation for starting school, including knowing her phonics and being able to count to 20. More importantly, she has developed confidence, independence, social skills and a genuine enjoyment of learning.

She has been very happy at Berryfields and has built strong relationships with the staff and other children. She was incredibly sad to leave, which we feel is a real reflection of how safe, settled and happy she felt there.

Our daughter has attended Edwalton day nursery since Jan 2025. She has absolutely thrived in every room, and is currently in Butterflies. Each and every member of staff is wonderful (Bumblebees staff are our particular favourite!) and take such good care of the children. They genuinely care, provide great updates and she's learnt so much whilst there. The manager is also great and Sarah is always willing to chat if required. The children spend so much time outdoors too which was so important to us.

I honestly cannot fault the nursery - each and every practitioner are so caring and considerate. They are extremely informative, which would put any parents mind at ease. My twins have been attending the nursery since sep 24. They are currently in butterflies, soon to be going into butterflies 2. We have currently undergone a few changes at home with regards to saying goodbye to the dummies, potty training and also removing crib sides. The girls have taken this in their stride and I believe the nursery has help contribute to this. Their practitioners are extremely proactive and help support to ensure continuity. They have also given myself lots of reassurance, tips and tricks which has very much been welcomed. I have no concerns when dropping the girls of as it is clear they have the best time, they are loved and cared for just as they would be at home, which is a massive weight off of our shoulders, there is no stress or anxiety on drop offs. We swapped our daughter to Windmill Hill from another nursery and it was the best decision we made. The staff are fantastic, management very approachable, food is good, the children are always doing different activities and our daughter loves going in. She will walk into the room now and wave bye to me as I leave her. Laura her key worker in Caterpillars is fantastic. She really listened to what I said about my daughter's sleep and our preferences with not being rocked to sleep and only using a dummy for sleeping. I feel totally at ease every time my daughter is there. I wish it wasn't so expensive as I would love to send her there for an extra day every week!

This was my son's first experience of a nursery setting, he spent a year here before starting school. He had a lovely time, made friends and was well-looked after. Areas where he needed extra support were identified, and he has improved in them, which has helped him greatly in the transition to school. He particularly enjoyed that there was a lot of opportunity for outdoor play.

My child first attended this nursery as a 10 month old baby and finished all the way up to preschool.

Green park Nursey have been absolutely fantastic , the care they took in the development of my child. Making him into such a strong confident young boy who strolled into reception with such enthusiasm at the age of five.

They exceeded my expectations and made our whole experience so joyful. The staff were fantastic, and I'll always recommend them to anybody that is seeking a nursery. We are been very happy with the nursery so far. The staff are so kind and always welcome us in the mornings and are pleased to see my son. They make the effort to get to know him and his little quirks. He has formed a good bond with many of the staff in his room. At the end of the day, the staff always let me know how he has been. We love getting photos from his day. The staff always listen to what I have to say (naps, eating) and are supportive. They also advise when appropriate which also feels very supportive. The senior staff are lovely and approachable as in Jan on the front desk. Lovely chef too!

Our little boy has just graduated after 3 years at Westwood. He has truly thrived during his time there, each class has supported and developed him as needed, and mostly importantly genuinely shown love and care. We've always trusted their guidance and felt safe with their care. We're sad our time at Westwood has come to an end. The team are wonderful. Thank you.

A Truly Wonderful Nursery Experience!

Our daughter joined in January 2026, and we could not be happier.

The care and education she has received here are absolutely exceptional.Her journey started in the Caterpillar Room, where early learning was fantastic. We are so grateful to Sophie, whose warmth helped her flourish.

Since moving up to the Ladybirds Room, things have been just as brilliant. The activities are the perfect balance of fun and education. Abbie is wonderful at keeping things engaging, and a real highlight is watching our daughter learn to dance to nursery rhymes!

The staff are the true heart of this nursery. A special mention goes to Vanessa, the administrator, who looked after us perfectly and made the admin side completely seamless, easy, and stress-free.

The facilities are well-run and highly professional. We always know our daughter is in the safest hands, surrounded by people who care deeply about her happiness. Thank you to this whole brilliant team!

Our daughter attended from 1 year until school, at every stage and in every room, she was nurtured by caring, loving staff who go above and beyond to provide learning opportunities and develop core skills in children. Highly recommend.

The spacious rooms, well-equipped gardens and forest area are also real strengths. The children spend lots of time outdoors and enjoy a wide variety of activities and crafts. Management responds quickly and always tries to accommodate additional requests. Both of our boys were happy there, and I would gladly recommend the nursery

Fantastic nursery! The staff are amazing and truly care for the children. They always keep parents updated on your child's daily. They do many brilliant engaging activities and feed the kids quality food. You also get child progress and development reports and photos of your kids doing activities etc. Highly recommend

From the moment we enquired to our little one starting the communication from the nursery has been fantastic. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming and quickly get to know the children well. Whilst there during the day the updates we receive are detailed and the food is given to the children is healthy, balanced and nutritious - our little one loves it. We love the importance placed on children spending time outdoors and what really makes nature trails standout is the amount of outside space they have, but alongside this the indoor activities are varied and focussed on helping our little one develop and learn. We cannot fault the nursery and would make the same choice over again. We would recommend it to anyone looking for childcare locally.

My child has attended this nursery since she was one years old, she has grown into a very bright and confident young lady! Berryfields has become a supportive community for us, building relationships/ lifelong friendships with both the staff and parents of other children. It was a very emotional time for us when her time at Berryfields came to an end.

Even when questions. concerns and suggestions have been raised, we have been listened to and understood and in all cases we have recieved great feedback and have seen first hand the actions/ progress that the nursery has made.

A mixed experience overall: very grateful to many individual staff members, but disappointed by the management culture.

Our son has made such great progress during his time at Highfield that we couldn't be more pleased. There's variety in activities from dress up, garden play, numeracy to artwork and mini athletics. He has been well looked after by the caring and attentive staff who has responded to his interests - they sourced some Thomas the Tank Engine books for him having found out it was his favourite! This is a safe and wonderful place for children to build their early foundations. Thank you Highfield team!!
