Berryfields Day Nursery

We have had an extremely positive experience throughout our four years at Berryfields Day Nursery. Our daughter has been exceptionally well cared for, supported and encouraged throughout her time there, and we have seen her grow into a confident, happy and independent little girl.

We are particularly impressed with the progress she has made during her time at Berryfields. She has developed a strong foundation for starting school, including knowing her phonics and being able to count to 20. More importantly, she has developed confidence, independence, social skills and a genuine enjoyment of learning.

She has been very happy at Berryfields and has built strong relationships with the staff and other children. She was incredibly sad to leave, which we feel is a real reflection of how safe, settled and happy she felt there.

This was my son's first experience of a nursery setting, he spent a year here before starting school. He had a lovely time, made friends and was well-looked after. Areas where he needed extra support were identified, and he has improved in them, which has helped him greatly in the transition to school. He particularly enjoyed that there was a lot of opportunity for outdoor play.

The care and education she has received here are absolutely exceptional.Her journey started in the Caterpillar Room, where early learning was fantastic. We are so grateful to Sophie, whose warmth helped her flourish.

Since moving up to the Ladybirds Room, things have been just as brilliant. The activities are the perfect balance of fun and education. Abbie is wonderful at keeping things engaging, and a real highlight is watching our daughter learn to dance to nursery rhymes!

The staff are the true heart of this nursery. A special mention goes to Vanessa, the administrator, who looked after us perfectly and made the admin side completely seamless, easy, and stress-free.

The facilities are well-run and highly professional. We always know our daughter is in the safest hands, surrounded by people who care deeply about her happiness. Thank you to this whole brilliant team!

My child has attended this nursery since she was one years old, she has grown into a very bright and confident young lady! Berryfields has become a supportive community for us, building relationships/ lifelong friendships with both the staff and parents of other children. It was a very emotional time for us when her time at Berryfields came to an end.

Even when questions. concerns and suggestions have been raised, we have been listened to and understood and in all cases we have recieved great feedback and have seen first hand the actions/ progress that the nursery has made.

My son has been with Berryfields nursery for almost 4 years now. From day one he has had the best time, so much so most days he refuses to leave! The staff have been wonderful throughout his time there. It has always felt like each member of staff genuinely care about your child. We love everything about Berryfields Nursery! The team is always so smiley, personable and welcoming. Our daughter is always happy there and has blossomed into feeling 100% at ease. She is obsessed with books - and there's certainly books-a-plenty here! They offer so many great development activities across all the rooms and stages, and the food options are wonderfully varied. I also love that they document learning observations on the app and host occasional parents' evenings. We highly recommend them!

My daughter has attended Berryfields Day Nursery since she was 10 months old and is leaving soon to start school. As someone who has experienced each room of the nursery I have always felt she was well looked after in all aspects of her care. The nursery clearly take safety, safeguarding and health seriously - as you would expect - but they go further to get to know each child and encourage them, celebrating their achievements while helping them to overcome any challenges. My daughter is made to feel important, heard and valued every day and has grown in confidence and ability enormously over her time at Berryfields. We have benefited from the supportive community that the staff create and will be sad to say goodbye. I would highly recommend Berryfields Day Nursery!

Our youngest joined the nursery soon after they opened when he was around 9 months and will soon be leaving as he starts school this September. He has flourished here and he has loved all of the staff here. They are all so friendly and supportive and he always leaves with a big smile on his face. Couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Staff are friendly and approachable too. Yes, there are key workers assigned but the team build great connections with all the children which is so helpful and reassuring! Especially if the key worker is unavailable.

Our girls are absolutely loving nursery and preschool. They come home happy, well fed, covered in the days activities and they seem to really have a bond with the practitioners and even reception staff. The activities are engaging and age appropriate, they are learning new things every session it seems, and their wellbeing always seems to be top priority across all the rooms. Updates on the app are really consistent and communication is fantastic. The rooms are modern and clean and the quality of the books and toys seem much better than other settings we have attended. The rooms never feel chaotic and overstimulating, though I'm sure they must be at some point, it's nice to drop off to calm and pick up in calm. Overall we are extremely happy with Berryfields Day Nursery and our girls look forward to their sessions each week

Since starting nursery, my daughter has grown in confidence and is learning so much. She has also made loads of friends here and is constantly asking when she gets to go again.

My little one has been with Berryfields since he was 11 months old. The care, love and attention he has received as been nothing short of exceptional. All the staff show true warmth to the children they care for and I am always comfortable leaving him knowing he will be looked after. I have tried a few different nurseries and this is by far the best one. I would recommend it to anyone in the Aylesbury area.

Both my children have attended Berryfields nursery since a year old (my daughter is now 4 and my son is 2) so they have basically seen my children grow and develop for 3 years. The staff are friendly and take on board any concerns I've had and are quick to address any issues in person when necessary. They provide a very varied and nutritious menu that both my children have enjoyed. Activities are engaging and I enjoy receiving updates on what my two have been up to.

I couldn't have asked for a better nursery and they will always hold a special part for myself and my son.

My 17 month old son is in the Ladybirds room since September 2025 and he has adjusted so well into his new class room with his new key workers and other staff members. The staff members have been absolute great with keeping us updated with his meals, pictures of his activities as these are the little moments we miss out on and also a progress report. My son adores his classmates and all the staff there. I would highly recommend Berryfields nursery to any parent that works long hours and wants their child stimulated, exploring and also get such a healthy balanced diet and routine. My son is bilingual and the nursery completely respects and encourage it and also use key words in Afrikaans to communicate to him. We get a newsletter every week and it's so lovely to keep up with the nursery & the staff is always friendly and positive. I highly recommend Berryfields nursery!

My son absolutely loves going to nursery! We even increased his days because he enjoys it so much. He has learned so many new skills, from using a spoon to following simple rules, and has become much more independent. The staff have been wonderful, supporting him alongside home life in small but important ways. He is always happy and engaged, and I truly feel the nursery is helping him grow. I highly recommend it to other parents looking for a caring and supportive environment.

Great staff members, worked closely with my child and have a great relationship. Always happy to see them and go in and always has a great day. Always get an up to date report on learning and development and great communication.

I moved my daughter from another nursery to this nursery when Berryfields first opened, and I'm so glad I made that choice. She truly thrived here and absolutely loved it. The staff were fantastic, and the receptionist, is also a huge asset to the team. Even now, six months later, my daughter still mentions another member of staff and a male staff member she bonded with, which speaks volumes about how much she enjoyed her time at the nursery.
